I frequent Walgreens on Plymouth Ave and Rodman St in Fall River. And locate damaged products in the store on a regular basis. The employees at the front register stated that if boxes and other merchandise were open they they just tape the item shut and place it back on the shelves (including children's cough syrup) I find this outrageous, it's not that difficult to either discard the merchandise or send it back to the warehouse/physical company to be examined and reshipped back to the store

As a customer I locate damaged products in the store frequently. If items are boxed items I was informed that the boxes get taped closed and placed back on the shelves(which is not good) Some items are pharmacy items for children and the employees at the front register are taping the merchandise back up and placing it back on the shelves. How hard is it to either discard the merchandise or send it back to the warehouse/company to be examined than redistributed to the store.

As a customer I see damaged merchandise on shelves when I frequent the Plymouth Ave and Rodman St Fall River location. I consistently remove damaged products off the shelves when I spot them. But I was told by employees at front register that boxes are taped closed and replaced on shelves to be sold. It's not that hard to either discard the merchandise or send it back to warehouse/company to be examined and reshipped out again. Some merchandise has been pharmaceutical items like cough syrup for children. And you're employees are taping the merchandise back up and placing it back on shelves to be sold to the public. I myself find an issue with this.
