Unprofessional Conduct by Cashiers

Good Afternoon,
I visited the Wegmans store in Princeton, NJ on 4/29/16 at approx. 1:30 pm. As I approached the cashier op# (353559) to pay for my liquor there was another cashier at the end of the register eating out of a small container and they were talking socially. I also noticed she was the cashier whom I purchased some prepared food earlier at another register (her op#356131). As I approached another customer was behind me, the cashier (op# 353559) snapped at them and said with attitude, "there's another register open! That customer walked away and she looked at me with the same attitude and abruptly said "I need to see your ID!". I was taken aback by her attitude and replied "hello", she snapped again "I need to see your ID!" and I said "hello" again. She then replied hello and snapped for the third time she needed to see my ID. I told her I heard her the first time but she didn't greet me and she seemed upset. She then looked at the other cashier who was busy standing there eating and they made eye contact. The cashier (#356131) rolled her eyes at me and waved her hands dismissively towards me. I made my purchase and the cashier (#353559) sarcastically "You have a good day". They both looked at each other and rolled their eyes. I replied for her to have a good day as well. Their conduct was very unprofessional and shine a good light on Wegmans which is such a beautiful store. One, I'm sure there's a lunch room provided for the employees because to eat at a register doesn't look right. Secondly, the store was pretty busy and there really wasn't the time to socialize. Lastly, their attitudes were very poor and shouldn't be displayed in the workplace at all. The rolling of their eyes and waving hands dismissively was immature and very disrespectful I would ask that the store manager get back to me with regarding this incident as it was disturbing.

Poor customer service

I will never shop at any other wegmas again. After waiting 10 minutes for the woman behind the counter to finish her conversation I finally could order my sub. Then at the cash register i again had to wait for the cashier to finish talking to the other cashier to pay for my sub and my sons food and chips. I would have left right then and there if my son wasn't so excited for those chips. While cashing me out the cashier gave my two year old son a mean look when he said "who is that?". While eating our food I noticed 2 managers and all the kitchen staff watching tv while customers were by the counter waiting to be served. I will never waste my time with that store again.
