Unethical behavior

Worked for them at two different divisions two different times. As ex-employee overheard JS tell regional manager we are only interested in cash management not the commercial loans. How can you tell a potential business you are interested in providing a line of credit but upper management is only interested in cash management.
Isn't that bait and switch? I was a top producer. An ex-vice chairman announced at a large employee meeting that "everyone should be doing what I am doing for the bank. Upper management felt outshined, let me go for bogus reasons and called the FBI on me to intimidate me from going to an annual employee event. I have worked for larger financial institutions but never had this type of experience.

As a loyal ex-employee and shareholder I contacted the board of directors as a professional turnaround expert and commercial lender to help fix their problems and have not received a response to date.

Threatening Voice Mail from Wells Fargo La Jolla Manager

I received a threatening voicemail today from the manager of the Wells Fargo La Jolla Villiage Square brance noting she would hold my accounts in two days unless I came to the brance. I went urgently to branch to find out they needed a signature from me for their files. Why this could not have been taken care of during my numerous visits to the branch in beside me but I guess this is the way the manager wishes to business with long term clients. I'm sad to see WF lower their service standards and have this manager be in a leadership role.

HARP- NOT an Option

I spent over an hour on the phone with a HARP rep learning the HARP program. My current home was purchased in 2007 at 350k and is worth 210k. I was provided mortgage lenders who participate in the HARP program because my current lender CENLAR does not. My mortgage is a Freddie Mack (requirement 1) and I meet the other 2 requirements. Wells Fargo was one of them participants. I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with the loan processor who was told the above along with lots of personal information. I was asked who my current mortgage is with and my response was "CENLAR". He gave me his number and told me to call if I had any questions. The initial package arrived and I was told I should hear from them soon. Well several voice messages to both the processor and underwriter went unanswered. I was charged $22.00 for a credit report. Today I received a call saying that because my mortgage was not with Wells Fargo one of their HARP requirements my loan was denied.
I am very ticked off. You can't tell me that the loan processor George did know this or this would not be a 1st question to ask someone when asking about a HARP loan. Is this how they get all your information and charge you for a credit report. This is not ethical at all. This is unacceptable business and I will register a complaint with the BBB. That REQUIREMENT should have been the 1st question but no you don't answer several calls, charge me for a credit report and refuse a loan when you had this information up front, UNACCEPTABLE!

Method of bi-weekly payment

Bi-weekly payment offering are designed for the gullible. No offense. but if you bi-weekly you simply make 13 payment a year instead of 12. However the reason it is an absolutely stupid thing to do is because the 13th payment contains the same amount of interest as the rest of the payments. If you were to divide your normal payment by 12 and send that much extra a month you would come out way ahead and the loan would be paid off faster with you paying less interest.

Method of bi-weekly payment

of course they want a preauthorized debit from your account that is the only way they can guarantee the payment will be made unless there is a nsf in the account. Hmmm biweekly payments for the year is 26 not 13 payments

Method of bi-weekly payment

True, did not explain well. The point remains the program while saving you tens of thousands is still a fraud.

Method of bi-weekly payment

I would like to send my mortgage payment to Wells Fargo bi-weekly. And was told by Wells Fargo that it was unacceptable and that I would have to let Wells Fargo process the payment. This is the issue, why can't I send my payment bi-weekly and Wells Fargo process. If we both are doing the same identical process (bi-weekly payment), why can't my payment be processed? The only difference is Wells Fargo is not taking the money from my checking account bi-weekly. I will be submitting the payment. To me it sounds like Wells Fargo wants to CONTROL MY MONEY, if they can't take the bi-weekly payment from my checking account, they don't want me to send it, but they want my business...that's a crock of CRAP !!!
