Wells Fargo Property Loss Division is a Vendor Service of Well Fargo. Beware any and all transactions with Wells Fargo Property Loss Division Obtain legal services ASAP as you can see from the compliant board that the Wells Fargo Property Loss Division's mismanagement of claims,, delays, wrongful information, loss of checks, detaining checks, refusing to release monies needed for housing repair, overeach for contractor tax forms, etc most likely are actions that are not legal. There is tremendous harm, stress, and costs to the home owner caused by Wells Fargo Property Loss Division. This is wrong, and Wells Fargo Property Loss Division is at fault. As best as I understand for consideration of a general law suit the punitive damage against Wells Fargo Property Loss Division would be "TRIPLE DAMAGES" and Legal Fees. Of course always consult a lawyer ASAP as dealing with Wells Fargo Property Loss Division you are going to NEED a lawyer.
When you call the Customer Service number 1 888 882 1838 you will be assisted by a variety of representative who give all kinds of " False' "Fake' and "WRONG " information. Baffling there is NO e-mail generated with clear directions. You will be run around in a circle like a dog chasing his tail with ludicrous results of nothingness. Plan hours and hours on the phone going no where getting empty information and placing your home restoration and MONEY at great risk to never be repaired. The representative will tell you to log on to their wonderful web site for insurance claim checks submitted. Submitted checks are often not uploaded, no dates or documentation of when received, of course NO e-mail available for coordination of the claim. there is NO assigned contact person for your claim. There are NO directions that make any common sense on the insurance claim web site The site doesnt ALLOW you to email attached documents requested rather irresponsible representatives make suggestions such as "Oh just mail them in"......just mail them in.....really ?? Wells Fargo Property Loss Division loses everything you send anyway. The Well Fargo Property Loss Division can let the claim remain unresolved for years. After all they are aware that No One will hold them accountable.. Since there are NO AUDITS of the deposited monies, the question is "WHERE" is the money? Maybe Wells Fargo Property Loss Division will be caught mismanaging funds by one person however how many people just give up and then it's a win win for Wells Fargo Property Loss Division. With no overseeing authority, no audits, no accountability, and no time lines of course corruption is going to happen. Just follow the money. Oh "Where is the money ???" Can you imagine what it is like for the victims of a natural disastrous trying to deal with Wells Fargo Property Loss Division No homes, No PCs, living who knows where, maybe no work. Wells Fargo Property Loss Division has you run around like an idiot calling for hours, faxing to no where, to then be informed ...What check, we dont have your check, or We have your check in escrow but you have to dance, jump, hop, and get your contractor to also not just send reasonable information such as license information and estimate but the contractor has to send lien, and tax forms, etc for more hopping, jumping, and dancing and we are not going to release any money anyway. If the contractor calls he should plan on several hours on the phone of course of empty nothingness and most likely made up information because everyone says something different. What really is baffling is Wells Fargo Property Loss Divisions response when inquiring about sending large checks for example checks of $ 25,000, $ 81,000 they will tell you Oh just send it in the mail..........are they from another plant?????? or FED Ex it overnight for $ 50 dollars. Sometimes a representative will tell you Oh go to a branch and the branch will endorse your check...How wonderful of course, anyone would want to go to a bank branch..............................except they do not have to many bank branches, the few they have want NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING to do with Wels Fargo Property Loss Division apparently the bank branch is on the phone with the Wells Fargo Property Loss Division for hours too. In my view it seems obvious to me at this amount of money nationally is HUGE money. When ever you have HUGE money and NO accountability you almost always have corruption......................Oh where did they say the CEO is gone to on vacation ???? No one can find him....??????????????? No one can find the money .............??????? What a surprise. Please, please, please get a lawyer to help protect yourself from this corrupt outrageous and ludicrous absolutely ludicrous vendor company.

Wells Fargo held insurance check hostage

On 06/29/2012, Northern Virginia and Washington DC area suffered a strong storm and Virginia Gov. Robert F. McDonnell declared a state of emergency. Our home was damaged by a falling tree. Our insurance company (Allstate) quickly sent an adjuster to assess damage and sent us a check for repairing the damage.
When we took the check to our bank, we were told that since the check also has the mortgage holder’s name (Wells Fargo), we have to get endorsement from Wells Fargo. We went to a local Wells Fargo branch. A person at the Wells Fargo contacted Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Property Loss Department At Florence SC. We were told that we have to fill out a lot of paperwork, notarized our signature and mail the insurance to Wells Fargo Loss Department.
We filled various forms, notarized signature and mailed the insurance check to Wells Fargo. After a week, we called Wells Fargo (866-826-4902) to check status. A lady told me that they need to schedule an inspection before releasing a portion of insurance money. They supposed to release 1/3 of insurance money after they receive the insurance check. Until now Wells Fargo held ALL insurance money and wanted to do progress inspection. I paid a contractor out of my pocket for repairing damage because Wells Fargo unethically held the insurance money hostage.
We waited for about a week for the progress inspection. No one called me or showed up. I called Wells Fargo again. I was told that the progress inspector could not reach me. I asked if I could contact the inspector. The person at Wells Fargo said NO. I did not believe that Wells Fargo scheduled any inspection at last time. It was unlikely that inspector could not reach me because I verified my contact number and address. I asked them to show some evidences that the insurance money is held in an escrow account. Wells Fargo person told me that they could not show evidences that insurance money is in an escrow account. Finally, they transfer my call to a specialist, the specialist agreed to release the first 1/3 portion insurance money and schedule an inspection.
A few days later, an inspector came and determined that we had finished 98% repairs (all with our own money). After a week, I called Wells Fargo and requested to release 2nd portion of insurance money. We were asked to fill out some forms, also asked me to give forms to the contractors to fill out. I called many times (omitting many details, every time, Wells Fargo came with a new excuse to delay releasing the insurance money). I finally received the rest portion of insurance money after making many phone calls. For the whole repair process, I paid the contractor out of my pocket. Wells Fargo unethically, greedily held the insurance money hostage.
