We had a mortgage with Wells Fargo, so had o turn over Hurricane Harvey insurance proceeds to them. After three months of dealing with them - posting deposits closing deposits that are suddenly posted the next day, payments to start work, sending an inspector out whocr fused to get on the roof, up to the roof, or even on a ladde - I paid off th mortgage and asked for a refund of insurance proceeds. Within a week of the payoff, I called every single day to see when they would send us our money. Every day I was told something different. I was finally told when the check was mailed but we didn’t receive it for 2 weeks. After much haranguing, I convinced someone to give me the tracking number (apparently they don’t know there is one, or if they do, they can’t check it out). Long story short (yes, I know - the irony of that), the check was actually mailed 2 weeks - but to the wrong address. I double checked the mailing address EVERY TIME I CALLED. I will NEVER do business with them again. After I find my check. That is.

If wells fargo is here to help me succeed financially...who can I speak to for help in expediting closing of a loan on a home I'm selling that has already been delayed by wells fargo twice? Wells Fargo seems to be famous for dragging their feet on closing of home loans and it is about to cost me the sale of a home. I seem to get no help or commitments from anyone in your organization. How can you possibly stay in business with that kind of customer service? The lack of service and lack of commitment on clear to close on home purchased is a joke at best. I cant tell you what a bad experience dealing with wells fargo has been. Totally unbelievable !!
