I have been trying since may 7th to get Wells Fargo to endorse my Insurance check and return to me so I can pay my contractor.
I am beyond frustrated I call everyday and get made promises that everything has been submitted that they need from me.
I am going to call dateline and my local new station next as this is not right that my insurance company has done there part and not the mortgage company who says they want their asset repaired is not endorsing a check so I can repair my home. Let alone my roof has been replaced and my contactor needs his money. This is illegal at best that they hold my funds in an escrow account to earn money on it will I sit in a hotel room my insurance co is paying while I wait and wait and pay my mortgage while I am not living there.
Something needs to be done to prevent mortgage companies from making money off a disaster at a home owners expense.
