incompetence

Had an issue with my previous phone not liking a gas station bought charging cord. It melted my usb port off the base of the phone. Shame on me. Ordered a new phone on Friday 6/23/17 at around 7:30 pm, paid for overnight delivery for an additional cost. Seeing as it was a Friday, I figured they may not get the package out until the following Monday even though nowhere on the order page did it say anything of the sort. Right away I received a verification of order in my email. Soon after that I received another email stating that I would soon expect another email with a shipment verification. I still have not. On Monday I called to inquire. After 45 minutes, the guy on the other end swore to me the package would be on my doorstep when I got home. It wasn't. Tuesday morning I still have not received an email. Once again I called and spent another 45 minutes on the phone. By the end of that conversation, I was once again promised that the package would be on my doorstep by 4:00 pm. I returned home from work and low and behold, no package but, I did get an email with a tracking number. I called FedEx with a tracking number. I was told the package was in Indiana, they put a sticker on it and apparently stuck it on a shelf (I live in NY btw). So, I called straight talk again. Spent another 45 minutes on the phone and tried to cancelled my order for a refund. I'm told they cannot issue a refund until the package is returned. They still have it !!! Tomorrow I go on vacation. Without a phone! Isn't that the best way to travel? To top it off, the woman on the other end of the phone refused to hang up. I hung up, my wife went to use our house phone and the woman was still there, laughing and saying "you don't know how to hang up the phone?". Thank you Straight talk. You have lost a customer of 6+ years who has sent a lot of people your way. A lot of people. I will never again recommend anyone to consider you again and absolutely promise to share this experience with anyone and everyone where the conversation of cell phones comes up. Your employees have no knowledge of who pays their salaries. Today is Tuesday 6/27/17 and they have my phone and my money. Shame on you straight talk <,!,,
