I enrolled in WOW , Menlo Park NJ and signed a 1yr contract, with the monthly fee of $19.99..I went to their gym for only 4 months bec.it's a bit far from my place and then I had work related back injury.When a year passed, I called their office letting them know that I am stopping my membership and I already paid the fee in my credit card for that month of sept 2011.One of the staff said I have to do it on line., so I printed a form on line then mailed it to them. I was asking for their supervisor to clarify things but can't for staff are ignoring me,before when I didn't enroll yet in their fitness center they are so willing to talk to you and so attentive now that you have questions/ complaints they have no time for you I emailed them several times and their reply as always to do it on line. It is so frustrating that nobody wants to answer your questions when you want to quit from your membership..I called their office again,the staff said I have to send another letter and be sure to register it by mai so that they will accept it..I did that again but after 2 months I received a call from WOW customer service that I still have to pay the amount of $60.79 which I paid. Then In my credit card I was billed again for the month of dec 2011 amounting to $21.35. This is really WOW ! so frustrating ...Then today March 21,2013, A collecting agency from WOW called that I am suppose to pay the amount of $149.75 .This is a total ripped off. Where can I file a complaint for this? this is too much...My main concern is this has to stop I wonder how many people have experienced this from WOW?
