Repair Denied

My Macy's outdoor patio chair seat ripped when sat on. Coverage denied because was the claim was reported 30 days after it ripped. Coverage was still in effect on protection plan. No further damage could have occurred due to the late claim reporting. It seems like it's a scam. Macy's will be my last choice from now on for using this poor protection plan.

Can't get my credit for rug protection plan

I have placed four phone calls to Worry No More about my (not using) the rug protection plan.
April 28, 2011, we purchased a rug from Macy's in Fresno, CA. If I didn't have to use the rug protection plan within five years, I was to contact Worry No More and get my money back. This, of course, has to be completed within 90 days from the anniversary of the purchase.
May 1, 2016, Annabelle took information and said she would "get back to me". She didn't.
May 17, 2016, Gloria took information and said the credit would come within two weeks.
June 16, 2016, Sarah was sent a scanned receipt of my purchase. I was told I would receive credit within 10 days.
June 29, 2016, I have nothing.
Added to this nightmare, I have to use my credit at Macy's. It's not a $99 check. And, after reading all the complaints above, I realize that I have to buy something I really don't want or can't use. Apparently, I can't just use it at Macy's--for shoes, for baby clothes, for perfume, for sheets, etc.
I agree with the rest of the complainants, don't buy it. But, by the time anyone reads this---it's too late.

Claim for Damage

Submitted claim for deep scratches and chips which are the exact words on the brochure included in our purchase. Agent came and looked at it and within 4-5 days we received a text saying "not covered." No further explanation.

Hard to understand and appears to be close to a scam.
