I purchased a sectional from Macy's two years ago and added the WorryNoMore 7-year warranty.

This last summer, after filing a claim for a cleaning, I have come to realize that this warranty is completely bogus. I filed a claim, a representative if Uniters called to schedule a day for the technician, I told her that date didn't work for me and so she said she would call back with an alternate date. I never heard back from Uniters. A few weeks later, I reviewed my online account and saw that the claim had been cancelled by Uniters, without any notice to me. I then called and spoke to a few reps, the last rep I spoke said the claim would be reopened and that a tech would be calling to schedule at time to set this up. I never received a call.

I call today and am told that the person I previously spoke with made a mistake and my claim could not in fact be reopened - no one ever notified me of this. I'm just sitting around waiting for someone to call.

I'm now being told that the claim cannot be reopened because I'm outside of the time frame noted in the paperwork - I'm outside of the time frame because of their mistakes.

This is a bogus warranty and they will say and do absolutely everything to get out of making good on the warranty purchased by the consumer.
