i usually only complain when i've had fabulous experiences or jaw-dropping horrible ones. Unfortunately, this was the latter.

first thing - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS WEBSITE!!!

seriously, do not buy anything from this website. I purchased the full background report (plus some extra options) and it had to have been the most wasteful way i've ever spent $75. i was seriously appalled by the report it spit back out at me.

The records comprised mostly of useless information and the information was INACCURATE AND INCOMPLETE on top of that!

First of all, about three-fourths of the document listed neighbor information - totally irrelevant. It listed all surrounding neighbors, if they were sex offenders, etc. and that was pretty much the bulk of the document. I probably have more info on the neighbors than the person I was searching for.

I asked for a refund because the information was incomplete and inaccurate. how do you charge for a service with bad information? i looked at the report and can verify from other online public records that some of the information in the report were blatantly WRONG - they should be embarrassed that their whole concept of a company sucks?

i even sent them print screens of how i verified their information was wrong from online public records, and of course when they wrote back, they wouldn't even address that they were wrong. they kept going on and on about how their partners sometimes had delayed input of information, etc. too bad the info they were missing wasn't the most recent info - it was actually older information that had been out there longer - so yea, that pretty much killed their main excuse. Additionally, they kept intertwining the information with a person with the same name in the area. I mean, where are the quality checks!?!?

since they still refused me a refund after my second email, i told them that i would blog about their horrific product and customer service in the hopes of saving at least one person their money.

moral of the story - DO NOT PURCHASE ANY REPORT FROM WWW.PUBLICRECORDS.COM, SAVE YOUR $$!!!
