Wyzant has the attitude treating the tutors disrespectfully. How dare they deactivate my account when I had a direct responsibility towards students I was tutoring. Without any valid reason, they deactivated my account which is very unethical from their side. One of my students is relying on me as she is going to write her GRE exam in the first week of January. This company is also playing with the careers of the students who are connected with this company. Even students who seek for education through this company are at stake as Wyzant is only concerned with their profit. Without considering the strong skill set of a tutor and acknowledging the quality of teaching, they focus only on grabbing money as a middle man and pay no attention towards the benefit of student and tutor. My account is deactivated and I have not been paid for any of my tutoring sessions from which they have already deducted a commission of 40%. They have surpassed the monetary issue here and damaged my dignity and self-respect as a person causing immense agony at the emotional level. Also, they have attempted to jeopardize the future of my students who are counting on me. I am going to consult my lawyer and take a legal action against this company. I am really saddened that things have stooped to this level as I am very concerned for my pupils.
