We booked the Greece and Her Islands tour – departing June 19, 2019. Lily Gomez was our sales rep. I wasn’t sure about paying $1240 for the airfare, but she assured me that I would be notified ahead of time what YMT air reservations would be so I could decide to accept or make my own reservations.
I never received any information – instead YMT booked our air without advising us. We are now stuck with a change of planes on the way there. Yet our trip back is nonstop. Why weren’t we booked nonstop going there? And why weren’t we notified beforehand so I could make my own air reservations. I would never have accepted a change of planes. And I could have gotten a cheaper fare with Emirates airlines.
This is totally unacceptable. I want an accounting of what YMT paid for our airfare and a refund for the difference. I am certain YMT didn’t have to pay $1240 for a flight with a stopover and changing planes.
We have booked 4 tours with YMT and expected better.
I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and USTOA unless this is resolved ASAP.
