The recent commercial during the Yankees/Red Sox game on August 2 on Fox sports was pornographic and totally inappropriate for families to be watching. So now we have to watch pornography during a baseball game. Don't these TV channels have any sense? Not only was it degrading to women but it is an embarrassment that TV channels don't have the sense to screen these ads. Carls Jr. Hardees advertisers are a bunch of sexist morons and their food stinks, besides.

I am completely shocked and offended by the Texas girl washing the car commercial! I am a woman and huge football fan. Families with children watch football. Completely disgusting! I will do whatever it takes to get the ads pulled. Who's with me?

While watching a family program on this lovely Sunday evening, out of the blue we are slapped with this sick idea of advertising! It is only 6:30 pm this is ridiculous! What in the world does that sleeze have to do with burgers?? I have never tried the one we have here and I can promise you I never will!! Something needs to be done about this. People should not have to be unwillingly subjected to this filth!

I want you to know that an extremely sleazy commercial of yours just came on while watching the 9 p.m. news. I hardly watch television and can't believe that I can't even watch the news without seeing such sleaze. I didn't realize until now that your company is famous for such slut. Not sure why Carls Jr need to do these kinds of commercials. This is not a gentlements club-it is an family place to go eat. You are getting the wrong kind of message across especially to these yound girls and young boys - and why is it always a woman dressed like that. Getting very very old. Sex does not sell-especially at fast food places. If they want to dress like that do it at home or some place where I guess it is more accepted. When Subway sells were down they came up with people that had lost weight by eating their subs. I do
not know what you are trying to gain by these ads but I find them very offensive. I am not alone and through
discussions with other females they also find them unnecessary to sell food items. Though these women
are very pretty and are very well built they have no business being an ad for what was known as a family
place to grab a quick meal. I can no longer support your business and will no longer be stopping in to
grab a quick meal... You know that these women are a good ad for not dining at fast food places because
if they ate there in reality they would not have bodies like that so thank you for this realization that fast food
is not good for us. Maybe one of these days they will come up with a way to block tv ads that are offensive.

Carls Jr. Sex commercials need to stop! I am a mother of a teenage boy and a teenage girl. Neither of them need to be seeing pornography at all, but especially not at 8:00 on our big screen T. V. while we are watching a family show. Keep your porno to yourself. If people choose to watch that crap, that is their choice. But we do not want to see that and for many reasons our children do NOT need to be seeing that!

As with many of the other people who have commented on here, you will never receive my business again. You seem to be your own worst enemy without even realizing it. First of all, your food is sub-par. I wouldn't serve it to an emaciated stray dog. The pool of grease that your burgers leave behind should be soaked up my Hazmat, not a napkin.

Which leads to my next point. Perhaps if your food were somewhat edible to the general populace, you would not have to stoop to such low levels in your advertising campaigns. A quality product does a good portion of the advertising for itself. But it's blatantly obvious that your product cannot stand alone. So instead you choose to degrade women, to appeal to the more Neanderthal amongst our society....the only group unintelligent enough to buy into your very transparent attempts at advertising. Maybe in your next ad one of the models could be clubbed over the head & dragged into one of your restaurants. (The only way you'd get me to step foot in one ever again.) Perhaps that would get your misogynist point of view across more clearly.

There is a time and place for pornography, if people so CHOOSE to view it. Choosing to integrate porn into advertising just shows your complete lack of respect for women who could have been potential patrons to your establishment. It is not just disrespectful to women, but to the men you assume buy into your advertising, and the young children exposed to such a debase ideology. You are forcing a subject matter into the homes of many people, who simply wanted to watch television with their family, not have to explain why some woman in a bikini is licking a hamburger. Quite frankly your advertising is tasteless, just like your food.

Hopefully someday these comments will be read & taken seriously by someone who realizes how much potential business you're actually turning "off", not "on", with your degenerate form of advertising. The only solace I have is that your greasy excuse for food will probably kill off most of the idiots eating it before they have a chance to make too big of an impact on this world.

My take on these commercials is that they serve two purposes.
1. They repel anyone with an IQ above low levels from buying their burgers. Why? Because they objectify women and convey/amplify the idea that women are only worth as much as their sexiness and can be bought. The commercials are offensive to male costumers since Carl's Jr is implying that men are dumb enough to associate a girl having sex with a burger with them getting some extra pleasure out of buying a burger. (Also, the burger obviously symbolizes a dick, which means Carl's Jr thinks their male customers want to pretend they are licking and eating a dick...? Or are they trying to sell burgers to female customers by these commercials??)
2. Customers with a low IQ and to some extent young people might be affected by these commercials and steered in the direction of buying more burgers. But it also has an adverse effect. The commercials normalize the objectification of women and equalize them with the product being sold. Carl's Jr is trying to invoke the idea that if you buy the burgers you also get the woman/sex =buy the woman/sex. This is directly harmful to young people's minds in state of development. It might lead to increased levels of sexual abuse and harassment and confused/low self-esteem levels.

If you argue that this is NOT the case, that the commercials DON'T have this adverse effect on society. Then what is your argument for the mechanism that occurs in some people's brains that make them buy more burgers after having watched these commercials? If these commercials DON'T instill the idea (for some people) that a sexy woman ready to pleasure a man is attached to the purchase of a burger, then why would you show the commercials?

Buying a burger =sexy woman & sex -> buying sexy woman & sex = women can be bought and they are worth as much as their sexiness

This is different than a commercial for say a cologne using sexiness to sell the product.
Buying the cologne = you will smell good -> attract many women.
This does not have the implication that women can be bought and are as important as the product. It has the idea that you can buy a product to get girls to like you more. Big difference.

I will never again buy Carl's Jr and after having talked about this with many of my friends, I know they feel the same, regardless of their gender.

We are very disappointed that Carl's Junior would use a 90 percent naked woman to sell their business during the Big 12 games. It is disgusting! Also, these are not only inappropriate, but not anything my little boys need to see as they watch these games with their grandmother. We refuse to continue to purchase anything from your restaurant until you stop this advertising campaign and return to a family friendly place. It is also obvious that your model does not eat your food!

How about the people putting the commercials on tv use their daughters, wives, nieces and mothers in them since they see nothing wrong with it.
