I’ve loved Hallmark Movies for years, because I can sit down watch something that is positive, without cursing, and usually has a positive ending. Thru the years the Christmas movies have at least had a nativity scene or play or postive prayers at Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. Christmas Celebration was started Because we it’s the time designated for believers to celebrate Christ’s birth. Without this it’s just another holiday. The movies now are mainly about love between man and a woman, and another person thrown in the mix for one of them to cast away. The names change, the location and plot changes. Surely there are story lines that can at least include Jesus’ birth and the reason we celebrate. God Loves is so much in our humanity and depravity that He Knew we needed a Savior, the Ultimate sacrifice. THIS is Why we celebrate CHRISTmas. Christmas is NOT magic. God planned the birth of Christ. Love isn’t magic. The writers use to be more original. Remake some of the old story lines. My guess is most people that watch Hallmark Channels are Believer. Use more REAL Humor smdnReal storylines. Bring in writers who arentbjust millennials.

Movies this year are the Best Hallmark movies ever!

Hallmark , I love your so-called fake love stories . Everything turns out all tidy and good . Always a happy ending . Why dont we see other cultures ( not races) . We are the human race but I would love to see all type of real life love stories. Im thinking of starting a movement , Ban Hallmark Channel until I see more diversity .Love comes in all colors , It needs to be displayed.... What type of world does this company live in ? It must be boring , just like the channel.

Between my husband and I we have chatted and spoken to at least 7 people in your TERRIBLE CUSTOMER Service department with no real customer service!!! This is the worse experience ever that I have had with a purchase in my lifetime!
I purchased a tree from you with great Joy! I was finally getting a Balsam Hill Tree! My husband wanted to start with a 12-15 foot one to replace the one we currently have. And THANK GOD I said let’s start with a smaller one for the family room and then next year invest in the larger one. So during your veterans day sale I purchased a Norway Spruce Narrow Tree. On sale from $699.00 For $499.00 with a $35.00 coupon for a cost of 464.00. I eagerly awaited the tree. We received it and when we finally opened it to start decorating it, we did so only to discover that it did not work. My husband called and with politeness he was told how to try to get the tree to work and then after everything he was told to do did not work we were told that the process had to go through warranty and that Balsam Hill would most likely ship out a new tree with a label to return the defective tree. We were to receive an email with the information on Monday, today. We did not receive an email so I called and was given the run around, that all we needed was a replacement box due to several trees having the same problem Balsam Hill knew that it was the box and that it would take 3 business days to receive the box. I was upset and asked that it be overnighted. I was told that it could not so I asked to speak to the supervisor or manager. I explained the issue and he asked again what all we tried to trouble shoot the defective tree and he then told us that they would ship out a new tree but that we had just missed the Monday day shipping so we would not receive the tree for a week! I again wanted it overnighted so that I could decorate and enjoy my CHRISTMAS TREE. I was told they could not. I agreed very upset and asked for someone at the corporate office to help me and was told that if it went to corporate it would only delay the process. This afternoon I was looking for a number for corporate only to discover I am only one of THOUSANDS with the same complaint about the BALSAM HILL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Only others seemingly have spent more with no resolution. I wish I had researched to see what your lack of CUSTOMER Service was before investing in one of your trees. I want a refund! So I called back and got 2 other people one of whom stated that she would process the return label document and that if I did not receive the email with the return label by 2:00 pm that I should call back. Guess what still no return label. So, I called back only to be placed on hold and then to be told that I should get the return label tomorrow. Look you have my money for a defective tree, which may not be much by your exorbitant prices but it is a lot to me. I want my money back and I never want to be involved in any business from BALSAM Hill again.

I usually look forward to the magical Christmas movies of hallmark. However, this year I feel hallmark missed the target. The 2017 Christmas movies are cute love stories with a Christmas theme and are not magical. Without the Christmas magic they are just another movie.

I amazed at the number of people who feel the way I do about the lack of racial diversity in Hallmark movies. There are two very beautiful African American women who are in almost every movie, but they always play peripheral roles. Why can't they be the lead? I also noticed that Holly Robinson Peete and her husband have been spokespersons for the channel. Why will you not cast her in a leading role. To their credit Lifetime and UP have done several movies with African American female leads and although their story lines are weak, I applaud their efforts.

This is not the first time I have written on this topic, so I have come to the conclusion that you simply do not care. I am not a social media person, but I hope the person who said that she is going to start a social media blitz about your insensitivity and indifference.

I love the shows, but why aren’t there any black actors or any other race?

I am an all time Christmas movie watching fan. I love everything about Christmas. I love that Hallmark shows movies around the clock, but Im not pleased that your movies rarely ever have any black people in them or any other race other than white and you use the same characters over and over.

This channel is great, however there are way to much of Candace Cameron Bure. She is al over the place is she part owner of the channel? When ever she or Alicia Witt are on we change the channel. It's to bad since our family loves Xmas movies on Hallmark. Keep making more movies and bring in fresh talent, but please, please it's time to move on from those two! Merry Xmas!

I can't believe with as many channels as there are on tv that so many complaints are being made to change one channel. If you like it watch it. If you don't, don't watch it. So many complaints about no love yet it wasn't love I was reading in those complaints. Sad

Your pre-occupation with Christmas and then with a fictitious Royal family in a fictitious Eastern European country without understanding that the East never had any Royalty and was part of the USSR or what the current protocols and titles are for a minor royal which is not "your Royal Highness" but simply his/her regular name is nothing more than an elaborate indoctrination of the masses. Royals attend public schools, ride their bikes to school and the current King of the Netherlands Willem-Alexander, during an interview, when asked HOW he wanted to be known answered "whatever makes the people comfortable, if that is Alex that would be fine." In a recent interview he stated that he grew up without television and that on the schoolyards when children were discussing a tv movie or series he lied and made believe he had seen it. Until he was 18 he was known in school as "Alex" He is a flier and one of HIS conditions in becoming King of the Netherlands was that he be allowed to keep his flying hours up in order to keep his license. To that end he is ALLOWED by the Dutch Government to fly commercial flights of KLM Cityhopper within Europe. Dutch Queen Maxima (originally Argentinian) works for the U.N. European mainland Royals consider the British Royals an uneducated joke which serves no purpose whatsoever. Queen Elizabeth never attended school, managed learning to read but nothing more. Her offspring do a stunt in the military and that is it.
Not so for European Royals. They are not on the Public dole but work.

I actually like the hallmark channels and I'm an African American female. However, I'm writing to let you know that WE (African Americans) along with other minorities celebrate Christmas. We also love our families, we have family values and I feel you could find several actors to portray US (minorites) on your channel. I see you have ONE movie coming out this season with a minority base. That is so not acceptable. I'm going to say this is a simple mistake on your part. However, I will give you sometime for me to see myself and other minorities on your channel in a vast majority in your movies. If this doesn't happen within 6 to 9 month's I will start a full blown social media bliss to let everyone know that this problem was addressed with Hallmark but they just didn't care. Please don't make me do this because I really really like watching all the hallmark channels, but I LOVE MYSELF and other's like me.......to be continued

I love Hallmark, but there are a lot of other actors/actresses that can portray characters. Why use the same one's? Also last I checked there's more than one nationality of people. Get it together, because it's obvious that you're talking love, but not showing love to everyone. Wake up, it's a new day, and Hallmark needs to get onboard and do the right thing.

I have been watching Hallmark for over a decade and it's becoming an insult to see blacks, Hispanics and latinos only in small roles. People from all races and cultures love romance and fairytales. We are all contributors to what make this nation and the entertainment industry great. Most of your movies are based on love and christian values, if you're a true believer than show it by creating a diverse platform.

If we can see what’s going on, I think you already know what’s going on…. Meaning, let’s do something about this now…. If you are truly rated G and you are trying to show love and harmony, with a Christian undertone…. So hallmark's answer to diversity is to use African-American and people of color as props like they are Christmas ornaments . This is just insulting - bah humbug. These groups like seeing themselves in "happy ever after endings." It's time to notify their advertisers on how displeased we are.

Some of the set decorating is just not professional! for instance the show coming home for Christmas there is now way a home in that price would be decorated that way . No one in a home or estate like that would use so much artificial greens or plants. Way to fake!

I loved this channel. I watched it until the movies came on. I even watched a few of them. Hijacking this channel for boring Christmas movies around the clock is very unfair to those of us who enjoy the vintage mystery shows. Please reinstate the regular programming that I signed on for and enjoy.

I love all the Christmas movies I plan on it in November it gets the mood going and it is so cozy but I would like to see people that look like me and my friends and family. I have friends who are Asian, African American, Hispanic,and White and television is so pretty in color.

I am writing you about your lack of diversity in your movies. I cannot watch your movies during the holidays or any other day I am only subjected to your station when I am home for the holidays. I don't understand how they can sit there and watch Christmas shows without any black people or people of color. As I watch these movies with my family I get so depressed. I complaint so much when they are watching the same story and plot line and the same actor's and actresses I was able to get a point across to them Thank God. I told them just like Trump you don't care about people of color, you have a whole year to program your shows and no one in your staff suggest anyone of color and just having one black person is not sufficient. Now I think of Donald Trump when I see your station. I'm sure a lot of people watch your station and like Trump you don't want to expand your base. I wish you the best of luck in the future.

I am disappointed in Hallmark's new take on the holiday season this year. I am seeing constant rerunning of the same "new" movies without being able to see some of the really good quality holiday movies from earlier years. For example, Mrs. Miracle, The Christmas Card, A Boyfriend for Christmas, etc.

It seems in its haste to saturate and capitalize on the holiday market, Hallmark has forsaken quality holiday movies. The movies have a "cookie cutter" feel to them so you are watching basically the same theme over and over.

Please bring back some story diversity, actor/actress diversity, and quality movies. Your viewers deserve better.

Actually there is no diversity. There is a severe lack of diverse actors and actresses that star in your Hallmark Channel movies. In the future, please cast women and men of color as leads (black, Asian, Latino). There are more people that celebrate Christmas and fall in love - this not exclusive to only white people. Please add diversity.

Additionally, the story lines/plots could be more diverse as well. I enjoy romantic comedies immensely, however I feel like I watch the same story over and over again just with different actors and actresses. Romantic comedies can be depicted in a variety of ways, and I wish Hallmark would explore other options in telling these stories. Every story does not need to involve going back to your hometown only to fall in love with your highschool crush by happenstance.

Please add diversity by casting people of color and changing the plot every now and then.

I will not be.watching your channel much longer if you can't adjust the volume of the commercials, no one likes them except the products companiesntjat are being advertised
