It's 2017. If you're going to whine and complain about the existence of BET when people correctly call out the lack of diversity in Hallmark Channel movies, do us all a favor and find a time machine and go back to your precious 1950s. Just because we have a racist as POTUS doesn't mean the rest of us have to follow suit.

I love watching the Hallmark channel. The movies are light-hearted and wholesome. I’m very glad the main roles are all beautiful white people. But only a small fraction of high class white people have black friends. You are bending to the complains over diversity by putting people of color in secondary roles. In reality, the “best friend” will most likely also be white.
It’s sickening to have to see people of color everywhere.

In the past, the hallmark Xmas movies were inspiring and enjoyable , however in the past several years, they have become sappy , unrealistic and pretty much dumb. They have same actors, actresses in every movie, sad. Whoever’s writes these movies needs to get a different line of work.

I hope everyone complaining about lack of diversity on Hallmark also complains about lack of diversity on BET And TV one and every other channel that is exclusively black.

I for one am tired of Hallmark channel coming under fire for lack of diversity or promoting "whiteness" when BET and TV one exists. Are you on BET's website complaining there about lack of diversity?

I love watching the Hallmark channel. I just don't like the lack of diversity in lead roles. I believe you are doing a disservice to those who love wholesome movies but would like to see individuals who reflect all people. I would love for my family to watch a movie with me but with no diversity leads, it is not going to happen. Most of the roles for people of color in your movies are in supportive roles. This is a disservice to those persons of color who love the channel.

I love the Hallmark channel and watch it faithfully. It just saddens me there are no African American leads. I have watched this channel for years because of it's wholesomeness. I have seen every Christmas movie but I really want to see more diversity. I actually had to turn to Lifetime this year to see an African American lead. What's so bothersome is my children recognize this lack of diversity and refuse to watch the channel. I hope in the future we will see more diversity in lead roles (Asian, African Americans, Hispanic, Native American, etc)

Please bring back the classic Christmas movies ... especially Fallen Angel, Silver Bells and A dog named Christmas.....I look forward to your Christmas movies but have been so disappointed to not see some of my favorites.

Every year I look forward to the start of the Christmas movies. This year I am disappointed to not have seen Fallen Angel, Silver Bells and A Dog Named Christmas in the line up. Why are these movies not being shown on either Hallmark channel. Please bring them back!

I wanted to watch Christmas and holiday movies and turned to the Hallmark channel. I guess Afro/Asians/Hispanics don't have Christmas or find love during Christmas.

Maybe they don't have hollow acting as most of your Blond European C actresses for the casting.

I miss A Dog Named Christmas, Silver Bells, November Christmas, A Season For Miracles, and Fallen Angel. Why aren't these

movies being shown? Some of these newer movies are so cookie cutter that they are predictable, boring, and lack the sensitivity

and warm feeling of movies like the Christmas Card.

If Hallmark is a company that wants to increase it's viewership and market share then perhaps making movies that represents ALL families makes sense. Or maybe you've got enough money already either way I've cancelled my subscription to your channel and from the amount of comments calling out your lack of diversity in sure many others have as well. You don't have to change your programming but I've decided to change the type of companies i support with my hard earned money.

People need to get over the whole complaining about no people of color in Hallmark movies. If they do not like it, there is always the BET channel, or the OPRAH channel. There is no WET channel, God forbid. Should we complain about that?

Many complain a/b seeing no blacks in your movies. I've been watching for years and absolutely look forward to watching extensively each year for the holidays. My husband who is white, sat through two movies with me for the first time and asked if there were ever any minorities in the movies.Just a simple observation. I said yes, they have some in the supporting roles from time to time. He was very surprised. Got me thinking. Also, my sister in law had to explain to my pre-teen niece that what she's watching is not the real world at all, as with other things, there are only whites casted. It's not the lack of black actors, it's the lack of any minorities. I can't recall ever seeing a person of Asian decent, and any other minorities are the friend, cook or driver. I guess I'll be watching some other channel from now on. Time to seriously modernize.

When Calls the Heart

The When Calls the Heart Christmas special was wonderful! The writers and actors did a fantastic job!
Several of the stars and Brian Bird have expressed concerns about ratings for this season 5 to keep the show going for further seasons.
Since we fans LOVE Jack and Elizabeth’s relationship the most out of all on this show, please give us more of them. Dan left the set much earlier than Erin so obviously the writers are sending him away to fight again. Ok, we’ve done that enough so let’s get them back together and move on in their relationship.
Of all of your short series, this one is by far the best. The writers and the actors are phenomenal and we Hearties appreciate them greatly. Please give us what we want in the storyline.

My complaint is that I don't never see any African-American movies on Hallmark Hallmark at light African-American don't celebrate Christmas don't fall in love I don't understand I've been watching Hallmark for years and I have not seen one African-American movie and I would like to see an African American movie on Hallmark and I would like to see this change and I would like to get a response back from Hallmark

I'm complaining that I do not see any black African American Hallmark movies no Christmas movies I don't understand why they have not made any African American movies like African-American don't celebrate Christmas or don't fall in love I just don't understand it and I've been watching Hallmark movies for years and have not seen one I would like this to change that is my complaint and I would like to get a response back from Hallmark regarding the situation

I thought Christmas Day was commercial free. What happened?

I love watching the Christmas movies that Hallmark offers around the Christmas holidays. I however have to switch to other channels to see lead actors of color falling in love,beautiful love. Must Black always be the runners,fixer uppers,go fors. This is taking us back in time,come on Hallmark ! Hope you will listen to your watchers.I am not the only observer. You may be #1 in 2017 but your competition is slim on the other channels but they are watching. More Blacks, Hispanics and Asians ,cultural diversity then your stories won't be so predictable. I do love you guys though !

Many of your actors/actresses cannot act. I found it difficult watching your movies this Christmas at the start of the season so I switched to watch Lifetime and a few more channels that offered more diversity and using actors/actresses who can act.

Your network shows the same tiring movies over and over and with the same tiring actors/actresses who cannot act. Also please show more diversity in your shows; that may actually be a BIG part of your problem. You won't diversify your programming but people talk. Your ratings had to be affected negatively with your second class actors/actresses and lack of diversity in your shows.

Thank goodness for Lifetime and OWN, plus a few more that helped me survive watching nice holiday movies. These networks were not the only ones showing some holiday movies.

Thank you for making wholesome movies that keep Faith and values in Christmas. Also keeping the family structure as husband and wife and children. There is so much junk and pc stuff on the other channels. It is good to have 2 channels we can count on. We and our family and friends will be watching. Merry Christmas.

the best hallmark movie ever made it was made in 1979 for hallmark hall of fame on cbs and is not to be seen since . where can you see it or buy it

Last year and this year the new Christmas movies look dark compared to the old classic movies. A lot of the actors are
wearing a lot of black colored clothes. I have nothing against wearing black clothes, but when there are scenes where everyone is
wearing all black, it looks like occult influence. There are also scenes where the actors are not wearing all black, but they
always wear one item of clothing colored black somewear on their person. In one movie, Christmas in Homestead, the little girl
actor made reference to the dragon. In the Christian Holy Bible the dragon is a reference of satan.
In another scene there was a sliver artificial Christmas tree with black tree decoration balls, and nothing else.

Don't let your kids get influenced by these terrible movies.
Wake Up Christians!!!

I have enjoyed the Hallmark movies immensely. However I'm extremely disappointed at the way Christian music is used for dances and Nightclub scenes. Many of the movies have people dancing Christmas carols like Oh Holy Night in a nightclub or The First Noel and a big dance party. Totally inappropriate. You have chosen to use songs that are Christian based to dance and have parties. I would appreciate you using secular Christmas music for those kinds of events

I wish you would show different shows. I hate seeing the same program over and over during the day. Good example you have the same program for about 2 to3 hours in a row. Not good! End up flipping to something different. Things like Little House, Golden Girls, I love Lucy, and the waltons ran their course a long time ago. Please show different things. I love your channels but sometimes I get depressed because of too much of the same show.
