scam denial of benefits

I too have been receiving the runa round to get my sons scheduled surgery approved. When my husband signed up with this company they told him surgery was included . What was not part of the plan was pregnancy, also informed us our deductible was to be $4500 a year! However when the doctors office reached out to them for benefit coverage for the surgery, they were informed "surgery" was not part of our plan!

This is preposterous, how can this be? These people are frauds, scamming, innocent, hard working, honest, people!!! ow that it's known, how do we hold them accountable? How do we cease their course of action? Who do we turn to, there needs to be a class action suit brought on them, count me in!

Not qualified for Obama care

I thought I was getting a cheap insurance to qualify me for Tax purposes and someone told me to calla and verify it. When I asked them were they qualified and I would not be penalized come income tax time, I was told they did not meet the minimum standards for Obamacare. Now I have to call the IRS and hopefully get a waiver of some sort. I had them for 9 months.

Ins fraud

Health Insurance innovation is a fraud . My know one is charging them with fraud is beyond me !

They got me , told me it was blue crosses healthy people insurance . When I got the receipt I noticed 3 company's I had never heard of . Went to google got here . I canceled the same day I bought , they tried everything to kept me from canceling and I refused , they canceled me but it was 32 days latter . Called them back and again mentioned fraud they then canceled that day and sent notice . Call bank card told them adopt fraud , they stated money had not been taken yet . Told me to watch account and if they take funds bank card will open fraud investigation . These people are criminals defrauding who every they can . Scam Scam Scam fraud fraud fraud

Scam!!!!

After spending ten hours on the phone to get a refund for add ons I never wanted, and was never told I was going to be charged for, they ended up cancelling my whole plan and never told me and never refunded me. I am STILL fighting to get my money back for insurance I never even had! Everytime I call they said they refunded me, but no refund has been issued to my credit card. Total scam, they took my money and ran!

Scam

This company mislead me to believe that they were an insurance company. Shortly after I singed up I got I'll. I was hospitalized, and now they refused to pay any of my bills. Does anyone know of a class action against this company?

Health Insurance Innovations

First of all, this is not an insurance company, when you sign up you are actually joining a membership. They employ fast talking, fact avoiding and well versed marketers. Not insurance agents or brokers, marketers. They misinform you of the actual policy (for a lack of a better word) that you are buying. They tell you there is a ZERO deductible and minimum co-pay. You are then insured for medical, dental, vision. Truth of the matter is as part of this "membership" you must call HII first, get them to find a doctor in your area which can take up to a week. You must go to the doctor that is the cheapest according to their customer service. This most definitely will not be the doctor of your choice. Bottom line....you pay upfront, submit a claim and they may reimburse you what they deem is within their dollar range. Again, this is not insurance and I was told not approved by IRS standards for Obamacare!
Believe me, this is not a medical insurance of any kind that an individual needs. You are joining a membership. When you decide to cancel, lots of luck. You go from one customer service representative to another. As I said, they are well versed and will answer questions but will avoid facts. What insurance company charges a fee to join...non that I know of....they do.
Getting a refund is extremely difficult and takes patience and persistence. Cancelling your policy is complicated because there will be policies combined together that you are not aware of, therefore, if you cancel your policy you must be specific and make sure each section of your policy will be cancelled. They are very devious, fraudulent, misleading. My advice: STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!!

Simple Health

My current monthly insurance amt will increase next year and while I am on a fixed income, I was looking online to see what kind of options I would have for 2017.

Looking for quotes, I was always directed to the same telephone number. After spending 1 hour on the computer, I decided to call the phone number. I was directed to a broker who stated she was from Simple Health. After asking me several questions, I was put on hold for a minute. The broker came back online stating that she had the perfect plan that was within my budget. She stated the company was a Group Plan with no deductible or co-payment for dental, vision and medical. It was a PPO and could be used all over the U.S. She wanted me to sign the same day, even though I told her I had just paid my premium for November and was looking for January 1, 2017. I asked her how could this Plan afford to pay100% in-patient and out-patient that also included medicine with no co-payment. She said it had an A+ rating and that I would be part of a group. I asked her to email the information me so that I can review the material. She stated she could not email me anything. I asked her if the Plan paid a "flat" amount for each service. She kept stating it had an A+ rating. Since she would not answer any of my questions, I asked her for the name of the Insurance so that I would goggle it myself. She kept saying it had an A+ rating. She then stated the name was 1st Health PPO. I told her I would goggle 1st Health and if I decided to go with them I would call her back. She tried to get me to sign up again, telling me she could only hold this price for 30 days. I told her I would not give her my credit card information without knowing what I was getting. She then told me I couldn't goggle 1st Health PPO as the actual name of the company was Prime Health. By then, I no longer trusted her, but I told her I would look online to see if I could get my questions answered. And if my questions were answered, I would call her back before the 30 days lasped, even though I would NOT call her back. She did not like that. I googled Prime Health and did not get the information I was looking for; however, a contact number was provided. I called their office the next day and was told they did not offer medical insurance. I told them about my conversation with the Broker representing Simple Health. The operator asked me if I would speak to their legal department as Simple Health is misrepresenting Prime Health. I was transferred to one of Prime Health's legal agent. She apologized stating they have been trying to stop Simple Health from telling people they were connected with Prime Health. She stated she would call me back with another company who could help me find coverage and that I would not be bombarded with phone calls from other agents. You guessed it, she called me back and I was given the phone number to Health Insurance Innovation (HII). Based on what I am reading, it appears Simple Health, Prime Health and HII are all in cahoots with each other. Techology has become an "enabler" to a lot of bad people.

Won't cancel policy and refund money

Dishonest company. My husband purchased health insurance from them on 9/26/16 and called to cancel it on 9/28/16. On 9/29/16 the rep, Reggie Hyacinth said it would be cancelled and the money they took out of our checking account would be put back in. It wasn't. He made numerous calls to no avail. Now, today, 11/3/16 they took another month's premium out of our checking account. He called them and asked to speak to a manager and when he asked the 'manager' numerous direct questions about their honesty the 'manager' said, " I cannot answer that". We have reported them to BBB, will report them to the insurance commissioner and are working with our bank to get the transactions cancelled.

Called to cancel my policy and was given the run-around by 4 different people. They kept trying to talk me out of canceling, and when I got really mad and firm with them, they put me on hold and I was on hold forever. Thankfully, I canceled my debit card so they can't get any more money from me. This place is definitely a scam! I am reporting them to the attorney general and the Better Business Bureau.

Complete scam with harrassing phone calls after cancelling. Now calling my home from 8 to 10 times a day and hanging up. All their names are as fake as their insurance. Dont get taken in. Please, for the sake of your family and the sake of your sanity dont listen to them.

Total condescending jerk

I received a call from Audrey who saw that I was interested in health insurance and offered to connect me with an agent if I had time. I said yes. After asking me 10 questions, she connected me. The guy who answered the phone sounded like he hated his job and asked me if I would be willing to move forward today if he could find me a decent plan. I said sure. After he quoted me something I asked for the name of the company and he told me Principle Advantage. I told him that I had never heard of it before and I wanted to make sure I would actually be able to use it instead of going on a scavenger hunt trying to find in-network affiliates. He began huffing and puffing and tried to convince me that I would be able to use the insurance almost anywhere. Then I asked for his direct number so that I could call him back shortly. That's where the real attitude came in. He said, "What happened that makes you want to not move forward? When you were first connected I asked you if you would be willing to move forward if I gave you a good quote? I guess you don't understand what 'moving forward' mea..." And he hung up before he finished saying means!!!!!!

So clearly he wanted to scam me and my many questions were blowing his cover. These people are incredible!

AWFUL

This company is plain and simple AWFUL. I would never recommend this company to my worst enemy. Do NOT EVER make the mistake of choosing this company. Guaranteed you will regret it and it will be a waste of your time and money. I could go on and on about the things they screwed me over on and LIED about...just don't!

Horrible !!!!

I just canceled my policy after two months with the company. I had be told at the time of enrollment I would be covered for health, dental, vision, and prescriptions. When arriving at the dentist yesterday I gave them my information and card they had no idea what the co.pant was. The lady then proceeded to call hii who told her I did in fact NOT have dental coverage. Today I went to have a prescription filled and I was asked for a prescription card, I had no idea what this was because I was never sent one. I called hii myself and was informed I only have "prescription discounts". THIS IS NOT WHAT I WAS TOLD WHEN ENROLLING!!! Because it has been over 5 days since my last payment they refused any sort of repayment or settling.

Will not cancel policy after many attempts

I called to cancel 13 days after purchasing policy when I found none of my Dr's had never heard of this policy. I spoke to supposing Agent Jason McCloud Direct # 561-713-5600 & explained I was told when I purchased & asked for BCBS policy, I was told it was BCBS. I asked several times during purchase if this was BCBS, & was told YES! When speaking with Agent, I explained all of this, & he told me he cancelling policy at that moment. Policy purchase date 12/15/15. Was told it was cancelled 12/28/15. As of today & too many calls to Mr McCloud, whom always tells me he doesn't understand why I'm still being billed & will AGAIN CANCEL! As of 6/17/16, I am still having policy amount taken from my account. I called & purchased a BCBS Policy in Jan. Where policy is $501 a mo. Plus co-pays for Pain Management one a mo. And medications co-pays, $320. I'm paying over & $800, then paying almost $300 to Health Insurance Innovations policy that is only accepted in SC.
They owe me $1601.68 as of today, but will not cancel & refund no matter how many unpromessed cancellation calls I make.
What can I do to receive my refund & permatelly cancel this unusable insurance policy for good?

None payment of medical Bill's

They refuse to pay the hospital Bill's after I had Gaul bladder taken out. I keep getting the run around with these people. I have a perpaid credit Card so they have to cancel. My service started 1-1-16. I was admired 1-11-16 to 1-13-16. We have been paying all this time. Health Insurance Inovations is a fraud.

SCAM

I called this company to get my daughter health insurance, when I got off the phone I Called the doctors office's they had provided to make my daughter an appointment and none of the offices heard of that insurance company I called back within an hour and told them I wanted to cancel my policy and they sent me an email stating that my policy was canceled. However I called my bank and canceled my card so they will not be able to take my payment as my payment was still pending!!! Thank GOD I canceled my check card visa!!
It's a shame how this company is doing people really really really sad!! DON'T DO IT BOTTOM LINE!!! SCAM SCAM SCAM

This is nothing but a scam

After reading the above I felt it necessary to tell you that yes it happened to me. I thought I was asking all the right questions. Well the answers I was given were the answers I wanted to hear. It's been 4 + months still no insurance card, no policy, no anything and NO PHONE NUMBER TO THEIR PLACE IF BUSINESS. They gave me, during the first time I talked with them for claims. I called that number. It was to Allied National, a clearing house for claims. After a long wait I was told by Allied that I should call HII and provided the same number I had for them. It goes through and then it says that they're not accepting calls at this time please call back. Everytime I called (and it was many many many times) it was same message or the number you have called is not a working number. Short story..no insurance...long story...they took from my bank not only the premium i agreed to but an additional $50.00 was taken out each and every time they debited my account. Always 2 withdrawals from my account. I am on my way to the bank to get a form to dispute the charges on my card. People please know this is not insurance, it's a scam. Please save yourself money, heartache, and DON'T DO BUSINESSES WITH THIS PHONEY COMPANY!!

Fraud and no follow through

I signed up in January 2016 and have not received a medical card or a packet. I've been calling the number the agent gave me and I keep getting a message saying that they cant take my call and leave a message they'll get back to me. I went to my bank to find out where my monthly $$$ is going and to cancel if this was not a real business and the bank gave me the # and made several calls with me there to get some resolution. They say I received it, passed me to someone else and they said the computers were down and couldnt help me and to call back in an hour. Called back and same answer, no computer access. Ive email and texted the company and no one has helped me. They keep asking for my ID # to be assistance. I DONT HAVE A # since they have never sent me any information or medical card.

SCAM

I ALSO PURCHASE A POLICY FROM THESE SCAMMERS THEY ASSURED ME THAT IT WOULD COVER MY BACK SURGERY EVERY TIME I WENT TO THE DOCTORS THEY WOULD CALL THEM FOR COVERAGE AND THEY KEPT SAYING I WAS NOT IN THEIR SYSTEM THIS WAS TO BE ACTIVE ON 02/24/2016 WELL RGWT KEPT LEADING MY DOCTORS OFFICE WHO HAD MY SURGERY SCHEDULED FOR 05/17/2016 THEY WHERE SO CHICKEN S#@%$ THAT ON THAT DAY THEY FINALY TOLD UNS THAT THIS POLICY DID NOT COVER SURGERY AND ALL ALONG THEY WHERE AWARE OF THAT NOW I CANT GO BACK TO WORK BECAUSE THEY WANT A DOCTORS RELEASE I HAVE NO INSURANCE NOW NO JOB AND THEY KEEP DOING BUSINESS HERE IN NEW MEXICO IS THERE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT? I NEED TO BE ON IT OR DOES ANY ONE KNOW A GOOL LAWYER ?

not what they said

I was looking for a less expensive insurance online. Was contacted by a representative 2 seconds after submitting my number online. After reading the fine print saw this was not what they told me.. I had postdated my payment so no money has been taken. I immediately notified my bank not to allow funds to go out to this company. I did eventually get to someone who says they have cancelled but after reading the above I am still a bit concerned.Can someone please tell me what name they use to deduct funds from your account so I wont be taken by these scam artists? Thank you in advance!

SCAM - Won't even cancel my policy

I signed up for this insurance due to the fact my ObamaCare Insurance premiums were so high. Less than 24 hours later, I got a bad feeling about it. I then googled the company. Need I say more??? I immediately called to cancel (less than 24 hours later) and they literally refused to cancel me!!!! SERIOUSLY!! CRAZIEST THING EVER!! They kept putting me on hold, passing me off to someone else (you can tell it's a small office and they just kept passing the phone around). One lady said to me that she could not LEGALLY CANCEL THE INSURANCE UNTIL SHE READ ME A STATEMENT. I was furious. So, I let her read the statement, then said I wanted to cancel and SHE REFUSED!!! SHE PASSED ME ON TO SOMEONE ELSE AND THE GUY LITERALLY REFUSED TO CANCEL IT TELLING ME I NEED INSURANCE AND THAT THIS WAS GOOD INSURANCE. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT.

I had to cancel my credit card and open up a fraud dispute. I then filed a complaint with the BBB and Federal Insurance Board (or whatever it's called).

STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! I don't understand why the government hasn't done anything about this.

Fraud

I agree with all of the others that this company is a fraud and should be prosecuted. No one accepts this insurance. I tried to make an appointment and was told that this insurance wouldn't cover a basic exam with my primary care physician. I did use it for a couple of months for my monthly prescription refill. It does not met all the requirements of the affordable care act, but after they took payment from my credit card and I received the details by email I realized that most of the statements that I was told over the phone were lies.

Scam

I agree with the others that I don't understand how these people are still in business. They claim that this is health insurance but this policy doesn't cover anything. I was recently sold health insurance by this company and was told that it was full health insurance that met all the requirements of the affordable care act, but after they took payment from my credit card and I received the details by email I realized that most of the statements that I was told over the phone were lies.

It's a SCAM
I purchased this insurance Feb. 13 2016, and had 30 days to evaluate it. Was told (and also got documentation that if i didn;t like it, I could get a full refund. Called them on the 22nd of Feb. and cancelled, they said i would be getting a refund in 5 to 8 business days. No refund showed up, but on Mar 13 I was charged $209.22 for the month of March. Icalled them back on the sixteenth of march and complained about the way they were doing. They said I would get a full refund in 5 to 8 business days. I got a refund for the $209.22 but not the initial payment of 364.22. They checked there records and seen where i cancelled on the 22nd of Feb. and apoligized for the inconvience. After a few days of waiting for my refund I called again and they claimed i didn;t cancelled until March 21 and they sent my refund of 209.22, and i asked about refund of 364.22 i was referred to the billing dept. After two or three calls to them I got the run around, said they would call me back waited over a week and never got a call. Called them April 5, and was told i will not be getting a refund of the initial payment of 364.22. I told them they were SCAM artist and had no intention of honoring there word of any refund after my evalution. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAQUE!!!!
