Sunglasses - Lense Peeling

Whilst travelling last year, I purchased a pair of Sunglasses from Sunglasses hut in Playa Del Carmen Mexico.

How is the best way to get the Glasses returned for replacement , due to the lenses peeling?

No Refunds or Exchanges Prada Handbag

I received a Prada handbag as birthday gift from my boss. Once I had the time to add my wallet, etc. to the bag, I realized that there is not a closure at the top, i.e., zipper, magnet, etc. This would be problematic as my items would fall out when driving, everyday use, etc. The handbag was purchased at Prada, located in the Neiman Marcus store.

I told the associate what the problem was and that I wanted to exchange it for a bag that would work for me, even if the price was higher than the original $2100.00. She then proceeded to tell me that there are no exchanges or refunds if I've used the bag. Which by the way, was in no way "used". I have everything in the original packaging, etc. but I did put my wallet, etc. in the bag so that constitutes "use". She told me there is nothing that she can do and that she was sorry. I could not believe this was the resolution for what is an extremely expensive handbag.

I then went to the Prada store in the mall and they told me the General Manager would call me,, she still has not. I did speak to the VP at Neiman, who is the same tone and inconsiderate tone told me there is nothing they can do. Then I posted on Twitter and received a call from the Area Manager, who again, told me the same thing. I asked if I can bring the bag in so a manager could inspect it for use, she said "no".

This lack of service is completely unacceptable. Please note that Prada does return items purchased on line!! I will never make a purchase at Neiman Marcus or Prada due to my experience. They should all learn from a store that actually cares about return business, Nordstrom. This never would have happen if the purchase was made at Nordstrom, LV or Gucci. Needless to say, I have a $2100 handbag in the box that will more than likely be donated because I refuse to use it. Buyer Beware!

No exchanges or refunds!

Prada has a no refund policy (this policy only applies to purchase made in-store) that they stand behind for their own convenience.

When I went in two days ago, I wanted to "exchange" a $2100 handbag that was purchased by my boss as a gift. The clerk at Prada, located in the Neiman Marcus store, basically said there is nothing she can do because I tried to use the purse for 2 days. I have all receipts, cards, original wrapping, the strap was never used, etc.

As a result I contacted client services because I wanted to know what my options were. The representative at client services clarified that Prada purchases made online are eligible for a refund whereas Prada purchases made in-store (at a boutique) could only be exchanged or returned for a store credit, in which I was offered neither. I explained how the purse did not close at the top, no zipper or closure at all. That being said, I could see that the handbag would be problematic as my items would constantly fall out. I was fully prepared to pay the difference on a higher priced handbag. The answer was "sorry", we can't help you. I spoke to the sales associate, the Prada Area Manager and the VP of Neiman Marcus and received the same resolution, sorry, we can't do anything for you. Each person that I spoke to was unbelievably disrespectful, rude and not at all helpful. They have their money and don't care about return business.

As a customer it's unbelievably disappointing that I can receive a product that was not to my satisfaction, even after my attempts to make it work with an exchange, and then have a company such as Prada to tell me that there's nothing they can do to help mitigate my concern. It makes no sense that a corporation such as Prada has a dual return policy where returns are acceptable when purchase are made online and are not for in-store purchases. I don't believe it is right for Prada to enforce their no return policy (only for in-store purchases) when clearly the company can issue full refunds for products ordered via online.

Because of this nearly all other high end purse boutiques (i.e. LV, Gucci, Burberry) allow for at least an exchange and/or refund.

Now I have a $2100 bag that is unusable based on construction of the bag and a company that is telling me there is nothing they can do. I will never purchase anything at Prada or Neiman Marcus. The service is unexceptional. They should learn about customer service from a store that cares about it's clients like Nordstrom.

Bad Quality - Faulty Zip

Hi, I have complained to the customer service department but I have not heard anything. I bought a bag and a wallet and the zips are faulty. I would not expect this from a product where you are paying so much money. I am waiting for feedback but have not heard anything. I have provided pictures, receipts and authenticity cards.

Unhappy Customer Service

To whom it may concern:

I write this complaint over the oreal my wife and I had the go through because one a store manager named, Yoo Yong Ok. We wasted over an hour of our time trying to get a refund for a Prada bag we purchased a couple days ago. She made our lives difficult by telling us that she cannot refund the bag (even though we had our passport, credit card, receipt) until we brought back the promotional items we received from the gift desk. Because we didn't have the said items we couldn't return them (which amounted to $40 value). However, we did buy other duty free items before and the same day to qualify for the same promo. We were told that we had ro go back to the places we bought our stuff and cancel and repurchase the items in order to qualify for the promo items and then the store manager would be able to cancel our Prada purchase! I can't believe that a store manager doesn't have the power/authority to take care of this issue instead made our lives difficult and wasted our time. I told her how disappointed I was ands she acted all innocent and naive like most Korean women (they think they are actresses). I wanted to share this story because the customer service needs to improve in Lotte Duty Free in Korea.

Return of Prada Sunglass

while my return flight to my country, i bought a Prada Sunglass from a Dutyfree shop at Shuvarnabhumi Airport, i was in a hurry so i couldnt find the best one thats fit me, i rushed and bought one, but after landing i noticed the glass is overside and doesnt look good on me, i never used the glass, but unfortunately i managed to lost the bill, is it possible to get a store credit ot an exchange for small side of the same glass

Tear in the sweater

Hello,

I've been a die-hard Prada customer for years, I buy my office wear, sweaters regularly from your store. I've always bought because the quality is simply impeccable!
However not too long ago ( I can't recall when), I bought a grey sweater at Prada New York I think. I kept it packed away for sometime but when I got around to opening it I found a hole in the back. For some reason I forgot and the sweater languished. But it bothered me as I started to re-think why I should buy from Prada if the quality was a question. Moreover because I live in Mumbai and have to travel to London or New York on work, I missed returning it post the 30 days.
I realize you have a return policy but if you look at my customer profile you will find I never ever exchanged or asked for a return.

While it's my fault for not having returned it in time , I feel ripped off and would appreciate the chance to exchange the sweater in return for a new one ( medium size).

I would be grateful if Prada can make this possible - brand recall is everything and I am hopeful you will consider a genuine client request!

Prada Logo

I bought a Prada handbag and somewhere, I don't know where, the metal triangle logo fell so now I have a prada handbag without a logo. I always thought Prada was high quality so I didn't mind paying the price. Now I will never buy prada again.

Cancelled Order

I ordered a Prada purse for my wife on 12/8/16, on 12/22 3 days before Christmas i get the following email-

Prada Sun Glasses

To whom it may concern

My name is Monty Els. I bought a pair of sun glasses about a year ago but before that the coating of the tint started becoming very discoloured, I took it back to the store that I bought it from but I had no response with regards to have the sun glasses repaired or replaced but no luck maybe you can help the model number of the sun glasses is SPS 52ES SAV-521 125 3P, I don't want a refund, but asking you to please assist in replacing or repairing my glasses as I battle to find glasses and these are a perfect fit as I have a broad face.

Poor quality - saffiano light pink

My husband gave me the Saffiano purse for Christmas and just two months of light use the leather is peeling?!?! This is absolutely ridiculous for a brand that charges $3000+ for a bag I would assume the quality would be better. I went in to the store and they said there wasn't much they could do. I'm so disappointed as I was told a prada purse is an investment. My ROI is pretty much zero. So thanks for nothing Prada.....

no exception on refund

Prada had a no refund policy (this policy only applies to purchase made in-store) that they stand behind for their own convenience.

When I went in two days ago, I liked a soft leather tote but the manager I was working with cautioned me that I may have to take extra care of the purse since the leather was more delicate. I purchased the purse and after having the purse (unworn) for a couple of days, I realized that it was not realistic for me to have the style and delicate bag that I purchased with two toddlers. As a result I went back into the store to exchange it for a bag that I wouldn't have to be as careful with based on the color and texture of the purse with respect to the one I was exchanging.

I went home and I tried on my newly exchanged bag with all my stuff in it. I immediately felt the straps heavily weigh on my shoulder and on my wrist, depending on how I carried the bag. As a sanity check I asked my husband what he thought of the weight and he mentioned it was unusually heavy. As a result I contacted client services because I wanted to know what my options were. The representative at client services clarified that Prada purchases made online are eligible for a refund whereas Prada purchases made in-store (at a boutique) could only be exchanged or returned for a store credit. I explained how the purse really was uncomfortable and I asked the client services representative for an one-time exception for a refund based on the scenario. The representative I spoke with seemed to understand my situation and was optimistic that they could help escalate my request for a one- time exception. I soon discovered the client services representative forwarded my request for a one-time exception refund email request back to the boutique store manager who previously told me that they do not do refunds, just exchanges or store credit. Then I received an additional email from Client Services declining my request for a refund.

As a customer it's unbelievably disappointing that I can receive a product that was not to my satisfaction, even after my attempts to make it work with an exchange, and then have a company such as Prada to tell me that there's nothing they can do to help mitigate my concern. As a consumer there is always the unknown of how your stuff would fit into a purse and how much it weighs with your stuff in it. Because of this nearly all other high end purse boutiques (i.e. LV, Gucci, Burberry) allow returns for a full refund within a given time period as long as the purse is not worn, which mine hadn't been (just tried my stuff in it at home).

Right now I have a $3400 bag that is unusable based on weight and a company that is telling me all they can do is give me a store credit. I hope someone out there has gone through a similar situation with Prada and found out a way to get a full refund.

Unhappy customer

I come from singapore and my trip to vienna was pleasant. I decided to reward myself for xmas with a little something from prada on the 22nd December 2015.Bought a card holder, took a glimpse of the item as i trusted that prada is a brand of good workmanship and quality, paid and left prada happy. When i went back home, only did i find out and realised that the prada logo of the card holder is slanted and it is not straight. I was upset as i do not have the time to exchange the item and christmas is in 2 days time. Called the store and they are closed on xmas and on the weekend. Had to make several calls to both vienna and singapore store to ensure i will be able to change my item only to find out if i were to change in singapore i have to top up the difference and if i were to bring the item back to vienna's store they would have to send the item to italy for a check and this takes 6 weeks before i could have my item back. This then defeats the purpose of getting the item in vienna as i would have to change in singapore.

I am very disappointed with prada's workmanship and quality. I have always thought of prada as a prestige brand. This has changed my impression of prada. This is my first item from your good brand and i had to experience such.

broken eyeglasses

I have a pair of eyeglasses. They snapped in two and the dealer I bought them from declined the guarantee card which states that "This Prada product is granted a guarantee covering all manufacturing defects. They store wants to charge me $79 to fix them.
The owner of the store tells me the "guarantee is only good for a year" although there is NO expiry date on the card.
What is a guarantee for if it doesn't cover breakage?

Prada terrible service

The Prada online shopping is the most terrible shopping experience I've ever had, they have no idea about dealing with Paypal, and the customer serive number 877-997-7232, one of the representitive named ANNA (or ANA)is the wrost customer service agent ever, she will never listen to you, and just tell you they've cancled you order already. I will never buy Prada anymore.

scam and horrible service

I bought a sunglasses then 2 days later they refuse to refund with bad attitude. The customer service, the sales staff have really bad in welcoming attitude. I stopped purchasing from prada nor my friends.
I wrote to prada H.Q. no response...
I think they dont give a shit.

bad service & bad managment

Prada staff in kuwait have bad attiude, unwelcoming bahaivour. Manager by the name of (Zyani) has no professional manars nor the ability to keep clients satisfied. Two branches of Prada in kuwait with the lowest un professional staff.
Due to the dissatisfaction of the customers, we decided to stop dealing with prada in kuwait.
A number of customers wrote a complaint to the managment in Dubai but no response.
I assure you that other brands care about customer service more than your brand, therefore, we are no long purchasing Prada brand.

Colour on Handbag Fading

I received a Prada Handbag as a gift from my Birthday in May 2015, only two months ago.
It is a soft grey kind of colour. The Authenticity Card states - Argilla.
Already there are patches of colour that are faded & turning white. These are on the front the bag, one beside the Prada badge which of course is really noticeable.
Myself & Partner both work in Baku. The bag was bought for a Department Store here to which I do not hold much hope of getting any service (limited English). Can anyone advise direct point of Contact for Prada Italy or UK (I am from the UK).

Bad service

I wish I read the reviews before i ordered my bag... didnt realize they stand for such poor quality. I ordered blue bag and they delivered black after confirming my order. I am from India and was travelling to US and order once I checked the availability and days to fulfil the order.
How can company with such repute make mistakes or cheat customers like this? Poor customer service and after reading all this reviews i feel horrible to have spent so much money on them.

Prada defect wallet

I brought a Prada wallet form the Singapore Prada outlet at the Changi Airport about 4 months ago. But one day my colleague told me ask me why my wallet has one patch there which faded colour like white when my wallet is dark blue. I sent it to Prada for inspection thinking that I can get a new replacement casue my wallet is mostly in my bag and not in pocket or hand. 3 weeks later Prada called me saying that they are not able to do a replacement for me cause the lab technician said that white patch was due to mishandling and some cleaning chemical. Totally rubbish answer from PRADA when my wallet is kept in my bag most of the time and the condition of the wallet is excellent except for the white patch. I will never buy product form PRADA anymore.

Rianda

I tried to return my prada bag because the leather would not relax and it was a large cross body. The purse hurt my shoulder so bad after one use. The manager at Prada in Nord Strom at mall of America Rianda. Was incredibly rude to me and would only return the damaged bag for the same one. I wanted to get a smaller one since it hurt my shoulder so bad. She talked down to me and said well you picked it. Also the bottom of the purse gold plates scratched with in a week. I definitely would never buy Prada again.

Prada Saffiano Purse

I bought a Prada Saffiano in light blue at Holt Renfrew Bloor's Prada boutique.
Within a month of mild use, the hardware of the strap began rusting, the rust transferred to my light colour bag.
I took it back to the store and they took the strap from me for repair. I had to use my bag without the strap, extremely inconvenient as I use it as a work bag. I had to call in to learn that the strap has been returned to the store after repair, they dont even bother calling you. When I got the strap, there were scratches on the hardware. They had to send it back for repair again because the quality of the repair was not acceptable. A few weeks later, the zipper on the bag itself began rusting. I decided to send the bag to repair as well (6 months since I got the bag). I am a very careful user, I dont even bring my leather bags out on rainy/snowy days. The rusting on the bag is due to lack of quality assurance. To date, I still dont have my bag nor strap returned to me. In 3 months, my one year warranty for the bag would expire. I don't know how long it would take Prada to fix my bag (they are just sending it to New York, I am in Toronto), it shouldnt take months. It's ridiculous.
