I applied for a modification months ago and was finally approved. They gave me a 3 month trial payment period which I just completed. I contacted them to inquire when the new mortgage documents would be sent. At the same time I asked what the new mortgage payment would be -- sometimes it adjusts slightly for escrow. My modification account rep advised of the new mortgage payment which is actually $421 more per month than the trial payment amount per month. That is not a slight increase so I inquired why there was such a discrepancy. My rep spoke with the "processor" who told her the amounts can change. I understand that but NOT $421 increase. If they advise the homeowner that the trial payments are a certain amount, that amount should not increase $421 per month. That is ridiculous. My rep then spoke with her supervisor and she then advised me that there was an error on their part when they did their calculations and basically tough for me..either accept the new hugely increased payment, start over with a new mod application, or be foreclosed on. I don't expect to not pay my mortgage but if they provided me with a trial payment I would anticipate that the final mortgage payment would be in the same ballpark or how the hell do they expect the homeowner to determine if they can afford the payment!

WTF -- I hate this company!

CHASE JUST SOLD MY MORTGAGE TO THESE PEOPLE. I JUST GOT A STATEMENT AND IT SAYS I AM IN FORECLOSURE PRECEEDINGS. I AM 70 DAYS LATE BECAUSE WHEN I FIRST CALLED THEY SAID I HAD TIL FEBRUARY, NOW THEY R GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND. THE INFORMATION SEEMED OFF SINCE AT THIS POINT CHASE NEVER SAID ANYTHING AND TOOK MY PAYMENTS AND ADVISED ME THAT FORCLOSURE FILING USUALLY DOESN'T OCCUR UNTIL AFTER DAY 90. SOMETHING SEEMED OFF. IM GLAD I TOK THE TIME TO GOOGLE THIS COMPANY, EVERYTHING IS NEGATIVE. I WILL SEARCH TO GET ANOTHER COMPANY TO TAKE MY LOAN. IF THERE IS A LAWSUIT PLZ INCLUDE ME AS WELL.

My experience with SLS has been almost identical to every one of the complaints I have reviewed so far! It appears that clearly SLS's MO is to string customers along without ever intending to finalize their loan modifications whatsoever.

I have spent over two years trying to complete the process; countless hours, energy, even funds to "come in under their deadlines"- just to get yet another rejection; stating that I failed to provide this or that documentation etc-(when they had never requested such specific documentation prior to the rejection!) I find any and all correspondence with them and from them meaningless, fruitless and nonsensical; a complete and utter waste of time. Never have I felt so powerless and frustrated!

Honestly, I want to thank everyone who has gone to the trouble of sharing their similar experiences with the rest of us. I know it sounds odd, but I have found a measure of validation and frankly, hope, from reading their stories.

I am going to spend the rest of my energies researching and pursuing governmental intervention and legal representation! As with the rest of the customers; a class action lawsuit.

The irony is that SLS's business practices are precisely what Obama's HARP program was created to address; predatory lending practices to already vulnerable individual's.

i would like to be apart of any class action lawsuit against SLS mortgage

SLS has not been reporting to the three credit bureaus. Didn't know until I went to go apply for an loan. It shows the high balance, the amount owed is $0, the monthly payments are $0, and the account is close. I pay faithfully out of my account every month. Took two hard inquiries because of this. I have literally take to about Thirty people at SLS, and they all have something different to say. I have they names the times I've talked to them and what they say. This business is very shady, plus I contacted CPFB, I made their website and that's all. Heard from them!!!

My home loan was with B of A. transfered to SLS. They are foreclosing next weed, lying about missing documents, trustee sale next week

NO CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT HAS BEEN FILED. This is skewed advertising put out by SLS so that no files one.

There is only one class action lawsuit filed against SLS (Case 1:14-cv-12534-LTS, Filed 06/16/14 ). This case has to do with their robocalling people that are not their customers. It has nothing to do with SLS mortgage practices. Everyone wants to join a class action, but no one wants to be the filer. Unfortunately, those that are caught in the SLS trap cannot afford to file a lawsuit, which is why this company purchased from the market the type of mortgages they did, knowing their customers had no way to fight them and they could therefore do whatever they wanted.

I am fed up with the way SLS conducts dirty business. They should be stopped particularly in USA.I am very surprise that they can stay in Business in this country. Please include me in the Class Action Suit against SLS.

I want to file a class action suit against SLS .

On March 12, 2014, I finally received a Modification Loan from Bank of America; I started making payments on the Loan immediately to Bank of America. Bank of America notified us that the loan was being transferred to Specialized Loan Servicing, and had sent the payment to SLS along with the appropriate documents. SLS has not admitted that they any documents on the Modification Loan issued by Bank of America, and have continuously harassed us with letters of debts on the original loan serviced by BOA. I have notified BOA and SLS of this problem, and they are both ignoring my letters, or denying any involvement of the problem.

I had also notified both of them that I have insurance, and have had in place the Texas State Payback Program of Life Insurance with the coverage of the taxes on the property. They are again ignoring my letters and documents, and threatening foreclosure, if I don't pay back the monies due on the original loan. The modification loan documents specifically state that the total amount on the modified loan is included in the specifications of the modified loan; and I am getting no truthful response from either BOA or SLS.

We can supply any documentations that you may need to include me in any class action suit.

A Class Action Suit is being filed against SLS. Any one that have a loan immediately contact your lender, or previous lender and request a copy of your loan. Check your signatures, make sure your file such as signatures or Promissory Notes, are not altered. Ask your previous lender, who owns your loan. If you are a victim of Fraud immediately contact authorities and file a complaint. Make sure a TILA Audit is conducted on your loan. Share copies of the Audit Report with someone you can trust. If you are a victim of Fraud File a compliant with the FBI to investigate .
