horrible delivery service: starving customer

Both my husband and I were sick that's why we had to order delivery. Details of terrible service:
1. Placed the order online at 8:24 pm and received confirmation through email.
2. Waited for 1 hour and decided to call their hotline number to follow up
3. Was informed that they sent an email stating that 2 of my order items were not available. (later I checked the email and it was sent 9:01 pm)
4. Was told that order is no longer possible because the store catering to our area is already closed

What? After waiting for an hour, not even a text message????

bpi promo real thrills

i was about to claim the promo of bpi real thrills at alabang town center chowking 2nd floor today and one of the crew automatically prepared the 5pieces chicken and dimsum platter.i told her that i want to claim the lauriat, then she approached the other crew,then she told me that the lauriat is not available. I ask her when will it become available? She said ndi q alam mam.and then i said tomorrow available na? Again the crew said ndi q alam mam, so i said ok ill just plan to come back. On my way out i heard the next customer ordered a fried chicken lauriat so meaning its really available. So we went to the concierge of the mall alabang town center and asked the staff to call chowking and inquire regarding the bpi promo.then she was informed that chinese fried chicken lauriat can be availed however shanghai is out of stock!! The thing is how would the shanghai laurit Be out of stock when in fact she's already preparing the dimsum platter when i went there which includes lumpiang shanghai. Maybe they are trying to minimize the cost for the promo but its not fair to the customer as were just following the mechanics!!!! Looking 4ward for some feedback with this concern. panis ang beef chao fan

Nag drop by ako mga past 10am today sa chowking guadalupe cebu city branch ang nag order ako ng beef choa fan to go... Then pagdating ko sa bahay dun ko nalaman na panis ang ibinigay nila sakin... So bamalik ako and i complain about it then ang ginawa lang pinalitan at parang nothing happened. I ask for a mngr named jaypee to report the incident at sabi they ensure na bago lahat ang kanin.. I told him kung nakausap kita agad patikim ko sayo kung gaano ka panis ang binigay... Natuto na ako tinikman ko agad.agad yong pinalitan pero di sana dapat ganon...

chowking online delivery and call center/hotline

Actually this is not d first time i encountered issues against chowking online delivery and hotline(9-8888) aug.21,2014, i ordered dinner online and receivedconfirmation on my email..we waited for 45-1 hr.for d delivery..after an hour and 15 mins.still no rider came so i called 98888 for follow up..just wanna know whats your hotline for?its for all concerns right..ordering follow up and complaints shall be entertained here..9-8888 is the hotline for CHOWKING for easier transaction as it is Posted@ ur website..sorry but i have to tell u a certain aries esguerra(femali) took my call..she put me on hold so she could check the status of my order then after that she said she's going to give me the branch contact no..hello girl it is ur duty to coordinate with ur branch for the foklow up of our orders to any branch and now ur asking me to follow up my order to the branch?why would i call 9888 if its not on ur website..so dat means online ordering is too complicated and using the hotline no.is useless because of an agent like u..can u just post the branches contact details on ur website coz its way easier to transact directly to them rather than using hotline..i love chowking but i hate the process that u have to undergo for delivery concerns..a lot complains about ths...just hope u do something about this coz customers are really pissed on it.thank u

anu to joke!?!

Hi, just today me and my sister went to Chowking SM Fairview Mall.. Belle - the name of cashier who assist me to my orders. My bill is P218 pesos then I gave her P500 peso bill., then after nanghingi sya ng 2 pesos pra wala ng butal un sukli ko.. Then after I gave the 2 pesos she needed I-iscratch un receipt indication na nasuklian na si customer (in which I didn't know that time), she prepare my order (usually drinks) naman plage nauuna eh.. Then bumalek ako sa table namen my sister ask me "ate asan un sukli?" then I answered her bka to be follow na lang ng order. Pero at that time it made me think bket nga naman ako nagbigay ng 2pesos tapos wla binigay saken na change!?! So I went back to Belle asking her where is my change, then she replied nabigay nya na saken? I was shock kc in Jesus name I will never do that manloko ng kapwa. So they've check it together with his manager name Evan Villaflor kung may na-over nga and they told me na WALA naman daw. So na-bother ako at need ko I-defend un sarili ko. So nag-antay na naman ako ng matagal to find out anu na un nangyare sa complaint ko. They said they check the CCTV at may since walang over si cashier ibig sabihin mali si customer at tama un empleyado ganun bha un?? Habang tumatagal un pag aantay ko nalulungkot ako kc ganun bha talaga mag -handle ang isang effective manager ng isang branch. Hindi mo pinakinggan customer mo and then they come up to conclusion since ndi mali, ndi nila rerefund un change ko? So I need to make a scene not because I want to but because I think its needed. I felt napagtulungan ako ng cashier at ng ewan ko mgr. nga ba dapat itawag sakanya pero hindi ako nagpatalo kasi malinis konsensya ko na wala ako niloko. A few minutes later another manager talk to me, babae mas mabaet at mahinahon. Napakalma nya ko kahit panu pero bumalek ulet un inis ko kc same reason pa rin un narinig ko.. And I explain again sabe ko ganyan ba kayo sa customer nyo, ndi nyo pinapakinggan?sabe ko pa "wala na ko sa amount na pinaguusapan, my point is my reputation bilang tao" prang lumalabas na dishonest ka at nanloloko lang.. Hindi ko na nga nakaen un order ko sa sobrang disappointment.. At un plage nila sinasabe CCTV thing sabe ko kung mali nga ako I ADMIT IT RIGHT AWAY, pero justify nyo saken at ipakita nyo kung ako nga un may mali. Sa after an hour na pag aantay ko nag-sorry sila saken at binalek un sukli ko.. Sabe ko, see? wla ko mapakita saken kasi ayaw nyo tanggapin na niloko nyo customer nyo at tinolerate nyo un maling gawaen ng empleyado nyo.. This will never happen again kasi alam ko na mga galawan nila.. Disappointing. Kakalungkot lang panu kaya may mga customer na ganun din nangyare pero ndi ganun katapang pagtanggol karapatan nila syempre hahayaan lang nila un. Sorry ndi lahat ng customer nyo kaya nyo maloko. GOD BLESS YOU guys kung nagiging hoby nyo na yan gawen sa store nyo.

Poor customer service at chowking robinsons galleria

I went to chowking Robinsons galleria at around 10:30 am. August 4, 2014. I ordered chicken lauriat but before that I asked the counter if a thigh part is available then he asked the qc if it's available he said it is so I ordered it. I waited for quite a long time but on my surprice they gave me a wing part then I asked the dining crew to change it to thigh part because I ordered it but instead they told me that they don't have it. So I complained and wait again for additional 10 to 15 minutes. Then serve to me a substandard chicken. It was marinated full of breadings and too oily. Please see attached picture.

Chow King Delivery Call Center

July 31/14 11:20am - I called your delivery hotline 98888, and was able to give food order to a certain Ms. Agnes. When finished, she said to expect delivery within 30-45 minutes, from 11:30. So I was surprised when she returned my call at about 11:55am saying that the branch in charge of the delivery is rejecting their call. She tried how many times, but they have ignored her call. Assuming that this is a fact, still Ms. Agnes could have notified us earlier, after a few minutes allowance instead of the thirty minute interval. We were really dismayed at this incident since this is the first time that we've heard of a food chain rejecting order and letting their customers go hungry. This should be properly addressed by your management, since you do not only advertise good food but also FAST DELIVERY right? Besides, management should also make changes in your arranged delivery and assigning delivery to particular branches within a certain area. This is so disgusting that if one branch cannot and will not accept delivery, probably due to volume of customer influx, still, it is unacceptable that there is no alternative on what to do with the incoming and succeeding customers who wish to make their order.

Please do something to enhance your Customer Service.

product availability

around 8:47pm friday 7/18/14 nag order ako ng halo halo for take out the n nagpalod muna ako ng 100.00 for hpc card nang ma lod na sa counter i repeat my order 1 regular halo halo, then tne counter said not available, dahil na load n ung payment ko s hpc d n mbblk ung ni load ko kung nasabi agad ng counter na si diane na not available ung halo halo sana di na ako nag order, then ung translite nila wala man lng naka lagay na not available or sold out man lng pra mlmn ng customer na not available ung product, the cashier not friendly not smiley parang walang pakialam s customer wla mn lng ngwa. bad experience. pls give immediate call i want to talk to the mngr asap. 09352880264

Online delivery and call center issues

We had a VERY HORRIBLE experience with this online delivery system.v45 minutes had passed and no delivery man is appearing. We waited for another 5 minutes and then I decided to call them using my cell phone because your stupid delivery hotline is inaccurate. You should have placed in the advertisement that we may need to add 2 number 8's for it to be connected on some landlines. I was connected I think to Mike or michael, I could seriously not remember because we were literally starving. He placed me on hold for like 2-3 minutes (as a call center agent I know how inappropriate it is to make the guest wait on hold for more than a minute especially if the agent only informed you to be on hold for one minute). He went back on me and said that the orders were already on its way and the delivery went ahead just 2 minutes ago. My colleague was also on the phone with one of the agents and she was VERY FRUSTRATED already since the agents told her that they are manually relaying the order on the branch. So what should we really believe? We were talking at 2 agents at the same time yet they are telling us 2 different versions of their online story? This is really stupid. I allowed another 15 minutes for it to arrive. Still no Delivery. One of my colleagues called again and at the same time the branch where the order would came from (Chinabank - Salcedo Village branch) contacted my colleague where the order was named and asked if we could allow another 45 minutes for the order to be placed. THIS IS SERIOUSLY RIDICULOUS. Someone should have told us that the online system or your stupid call center has issues with relaying orders to your branch. There are 7 or 8 of us who ordered food and our lunch breaks are very limited to an hour. All of us who are waiting for the stupid delivery are very famished and starving. We could not believe how a Chao Fan or a Golden Chinese Pork could take 2 hours or so to be processed?

Poor Delivery Service

we ordered food thru phone for our lunch at around 10:40 am ,and finished the conversation at exactly 10:51 am , they told us to expect the delivery within 45 minutes to 1hour, after 1 hour (11:51 am) we called the branch and the crew said " the rider is on its way " we waited for a couple of minutes, then made a follow up call again ,as usual the crew replied "the rider is on its way". to make the story short, the food was delivered at about 12;45 pm , our lunch break is 12:00 to 1:00, so we ate for only 15 minutes, imagine! the Chowking Kalaw branch is only 2 blocks away from our office, same street, but it took almost 2 hours to deliver the food we ordered. "SO DISAPPOINTED" "WE SUGGEST THAT CHOWKING KALAW BRANCH NEEDS TO ATTEND TIME MANAGEMENT TRAINING". And we are not satisfied because the food was already cold. We confronted the delivery guy and he said that he was given a wrong address

Very POOR BAD food and customer Service!

This was in Chowking Greenfield District branch. I ordered Chicken Lauriat for take out 3hrs ago, I said leg part yung chicken, plain rice, and my drink is sprite no ice, the cashier (idk her name) told me that the only availble is leg part so I said okay lang. She gave me the sprite first and I sat down as I wait for the chicken lauriat. After a 3/5mins dumating yung crew dala yung order ko, I checked it and I am so disappointed with the chicken it's really small compare to the commercial, tinanong ko sya "ganito ba kaliit ang chicken nyo?" The he said "ipabig part nalang po natin maam" So kinuha nya para papalitan and humingi din ako ng toyomansi, chili and gravy kasi hindi ata sila nagbibigay kapag takeout! Nung bumalik sya hindi ko na chineck. Umalis na ako and I went home, I'm residing near the area Cityland Shaw Tower. While I'm waiting for the elevator I decided to drink the sprite kasi napagod paglalakad, and to my surprise it's just a water it's not sprite! I wanted to go back to your branch para magreklamo pero I'm too tired to walk back again. Nung kakain na ako, pagbukas ko the chicken is not a leg part. Grabe! I thought leg part lang available? Bakit ibang part yung ipinalit nyo? Niloloko nyo customer nyo. Sana pag sabihan nyo mga crew nyo sa Greenfield district! Hindi porket take out lolokohin nyo ang mga tao! Ayusin nyo trabaho nyo!!

Unethical Labor treatment

Good Day! I don't if this website is really related to chowking pero I still want to grab the opportunity.
Last summer vacation po kasi nag apply ako as counter sa Chowking Tikling,Taytay Rizal. Then natanggap po ako and nagtraining na
Nung holly week kung kailan super peak yung store. As far as I know sa jollibee 3days PHA lang tapos pasok kana, sumusweldo kana,
Sa CK tiklung hindi po. 6hours per day ako and holly week pa natapat and 6days akong nag training.
Pero ok lang inisip ko nalang after this naman susweldo na ko.
Then nung matapos training period ko walang manager na nag tetext sakin para iconfirm kung magrerequirements na ba ko.
Then nung nag text ako sa isang manager no responds at all, edi dun na ko nag rext sa higher manager.
Tapos ang sabi lang sakin "Sorry but you didnt pass the evaluation".
Qow! Ang tagal ko nag training tapos nareject lang ako. Sa pagkaka alam ko hindi pwede yung ganun.
Ang tagal kong nag tiis sa mga utos ang dugyot nilang kitchen tapos ganun?
Yes po! Napaka dugyot na kitchen nila. Yung mga gulay nasa floors lang. Pwede kang pumasok sa kitchen ng walang hairnet,
Nagpuputik ang sahig at pag nagpa take out ka sa plastic bag lang nila ilalagay. Napaka unsanitary.
CK pls. Do something about this. Gusto kong mabigyan naman ng justice yung pagsasayang ko ng oras dun...

Chowking

Gud pm, yesterday night nag stop over kami sa slex chowking branch i ordered lumpiang shanghai lauriat at chao fan with siomai.... To make the story short habang kinakain ko na ung chao fan biglang may insect na lumalakad sa rice ko....AS IN BUHAY NA BUHAY siya... Sa sobrang bigla tinawag ko agad ung Manager na sin PHILIP ( Bagueras) im not sure sa surname niya pero PHILIP ang name niya. He offerd na palitan ng bago chow fan but i refused nawalan na ako ng gana. Pero nakakapangDIRIIII Talaga ang food na kinain ko !!!! ,i suggest na mag surprise inspection kayo sa branch na yun lalo na sa gabi, madumi ang area.

Very Poor Performance & Customer Service

As your regular customer, I could say that Chowking had an excellent impression and services to us specially when we eat in some branches located in Manila and Laguna. Crew and the managers are well trained and oriented in terms of excellent service and outstanding customer relationship but all of a sudden these expectations and impressions had made me doubts and disappointments when we experienced the worst customer service ever @ Chowking Hi-way Uradaneta Pangasinan (beside 7-11, front of a mall near KFC). It's almost noon time, we felt hungry and decided to stop over in Chowking Urdaneta from the long Baguio travel. In the counter, we ordered a bucket of chicken combo and plus , (Delayed for 30 minutes 8 pcs chicken bucket, 4 drinks, 4 rice, under portioned chopsuey, pancit canton, plus 2 halo halo, 4 extra rice, chicharap, and buchi). I just got the drinks from the counter and advised that "i-seserve nalang po ang iba". and I replied "Ok thanks". After 3 minutes rice, pancit, underportioned chopsuey were delivered. We waited again for another 4 minutes for the left unserved orders then the Halohalo and buchi came. I asked my family to start eating even the chicken bucket is not yet delivered because everyone was really seems so hungry. I didn't expect that it will take too much time. Unfortunately, the worst anticipation happened. I asked the service crew for a follow up for the chicken bucket because my family are almost done with their food. He mentioned "ok Sir I'll check". So we waited. I asked again to the manager named "francis" Sir follow ko lang yung chicken bucket namin. He said "sige sir follow up ko.". I sat down in our place. I returned to the counter and told them "where is our chicken, ubos na yung pagkain namin until now wala pa yung chicken." I decided to ask another waiter. Then after a minute he went back and told me that the chicken will be served after 5 mins. I felt so disappointed. Why we were not informed when we ordered in the counter if "we are willing to wait" so that we could transfer in other restaurant to ease our hunger. We were thinking that the branch focus is just for short time big profit and not for long time regular customer. Why the manager's missed to manage that noon time is peak time which is what they should know and usually do. Why they didn't anticipate that they should start batching chickens earlier the peak time. Why the cashier seemed untrained. I asked the waiter to send me their manager. The manager named Via went to me and I told her what happened. I just received "Sige po sasabihin ko". What the!!! I just ignored it, i didn't want to stress myself of the non sense reply I got from her. it really triggered my hunger. Another concern was the utensils. No more left metal utensils. The only left were the oily plastic spoon and fork near the counter. I taught we were the only group who experienced it. But, I'm wrong, my colleagues located in the other corner of the store experienced the same thing. delayed chicken. I taught the dilemma was already ended but I was wrong again. A waiter who carries a gravy and other orders got slipped and spill the gravy on the pants of my colleague. isn't it worst? exciting? We don't wan't the people assigned in this branch specially the involve ones to be fired about their worst service. Please teach them the excellent way of giving excellent service like other branch do

Chowking Manager: Poor Customer Service

My 8-month pregnant wife and I went to Chowking Ayala Center Branch to order some lunch. We waited in a line which had about 5 people ahead of us. When it was almost our turn, a senior citizen lady cut in front of us without asking my pregnant wife if it was okay. Even though we were already waiting for a while at that point, it was totally fine with us because we really do respect our seniors. We figured we would be the next one anyway. The problem was the senior lady was ordering for about 8 of them, all seniors, with each having a senior citizen card. The processing for each of their orders was going to take a long time. It was at this point that the manager told us to move to another line and line up starting at the back. She was basically telling us to line up from scratch. I told her that we have been waiting for a long time and when our turn came, she just tells us to transfer to another line and line from scratch again? She just nods her head, does not offer any apology, with her face frowning. My wife (take note my wife is 8-months pregnant) asks her why we need to change lines. She then tells my wife because it's going to take a long time if we wait for the senior lady to finish. But then my wife explains that making us line up again in another line would also take a long time. She said this in an unapologetic tone. My wife asked why she won't even try to help us get our orders sooner because we have already lined up the first time and waited a long time. The manager looked like she was irritated and kept her frowning look. She then said to my wife she'll just take our orders instead. But she said it as if she was forced and upset about it. We declined her offer and left. The manager's nameplate wrote Jaz.

unavailable products

I have an issue on your store here in SM City-Bacolod. They said to me 1 1/2 hour ago that the halo-halo is not available already. Is this acceptable in your system the unavailability of your main snack menu and one of Philippines most favorite food? I went to your store only to order halo-halo for me, my son and my wife and I got DISAPPOINTED. Is this what you call customer satisfaction? Customer hospitality? Are your managers trained enough to handle ordering system in your store? I seek one of your manager but only cashiers were available. I also ask for comments card but it's not available. I hope you will take further action for this issue.

Lack of concern for senior customers

Last Feb. 17, 2013, while waiting for my appointment with my doctor, I decided to eat my lunch at Chowking, Festival Mall , the one beside Rose Pharmacy. I ordered at around past 12:00 noon, gave my P100 and my Senior Citizen Card #16463 (Paranaque-issued card).

The cashier named Weng gave my change and asked me to sign my name on the receipt for their record. So I went to my table and waited for the delivery of my food at the table. I stayed until past 1:00 p.m. in time for my doctor appointment. Then I went out and went to Rose Pharmacy to buy my maintenance medicines. It was there that I found out that I dont have my Senior Citizen Card so I went back to Chowking to get it as the cashier must have forgotten to return it to me.

When I went back to talk to the Cashier-Weng, she said she returned it already so I said I will not go back to them if I have it because I need it to buy my medicines. I called for the Branch Manager (male) and he said they will look for it. I inquired if there was another senior citizen who ordered after me. The cashier looked at my receipt and the following customer which had a 4 minute-interval. But I was not able to see what the card number was, if it was another senior citizen card number or that of mine.

I went back to the Chowking outlet 3times but they said they dont have it. If the card was not with them and it was not with me. then it must have been given to somebody else. I left my contact number with the next branch manager named Dhane but up to now no update or customer service was communicated to me to address my concern. I inquired if they have a CCTV camera to properly investigate the situation. But sorry none of that technology was present in the outlet. HOW BAD FOR CHOWKING!

Because of the incident, I had to be absent from my work for a half day to get a new senior citizen card. I had to pay for an affidavit of loss and its notary . What an incovenience !

Instead of an inspiration, I got a DESPERATION from CHOWKING! Please address my concern, if you want to be the best!

7;30 pm 1st week ng feb 2013 tuwing hapon o gabi kumakain kami .lagi kaming naiinis dahil sa service nila mali mali ang deliver na order at mag iintay 30min to 1hr pinaka worst kinuha nila no, at reciept ko taposdi dumating ang pag kain sa inis ko tinawag ko suprevisor di manalang nag sorry at deadma lang na tinalikuran kami kaya di ko nalang kinoha order ko umalis ako na masama ang loob ko please naman dapat nag ssemenar sila ng about costumer relationship and paguugali . nangyari po ito sa chowking pacific lucena city'

poor service

When i placed an order thru phone around 11:45 am they told me to expect the delivery within 30-45 minutes. After 1 hour of waiting i phoned them again to follow up tje delivery. They told me to keep my phone open for the valenzuela baranch( chowking fatima) will be giving me feedback. After fifteen minutes of waiting i decided to call the branch. Only to found out that the rider is not leaving yet the time is already 12:15 pm. I never heard a feedback from them that the delivery will be delayed. And what's worst was when i ask to talk to the manager they pass it to other crew before giving it to the manager. The manager sounded so arrogant and not polite.
