I was charged 65.00 on my credit card by Dri-Avast. I never gave them authorization or ordered anything. I have tried to call the company and no one answers. How do I fight this?

I was charged for this program i cancelled this last yr 2016 why was it taken out of my account i got news for ya im turning this over to the fraud department now not fooling with this bullshit. the attorny general will be notifi also time to shut this crap of stealing ppls money down.we have right in the usa and this girls dont put up with this crap.........JANIE D

2 years ago and need a refund. I do no appreciate the DRI*AVAST company charging my credit card without sending information
via mail or email requesting if I want the software and request a refund ASAP.

Was charged for product that I did not order. This program was cancelled, but was still charged $75.06 which I request that my card be credited.

I didn't order for Avast software, I used the free trial about three years ago after wish I cancel the continuous billing and that was three years ago. Now I was charged $39.99 withouthe my permission, please I need avast to return my Money back to my account..

My credit card reflects a $49.99 charge for AVAST security product. I did not order it, I don't have an account number and my email address does not give me any access to account information. Unable to reach AVAST by phone or email. I had free AVAST several years ago on an old computer (that no longer works) but I did not extend or renew the service and I did not receive any notification that I would be charged for a service I had not used and did not intend to use. How can I contact AVAST, phone or email?

I only use the free avast as a few years ago purchased the upgrade but it crashed my computer therefore had to uninstall it and seek a refund...Now I hah found two transaction February 2017 taking payments out for an update which i have never ordered. Emails recieved but were deleted straight away due to previous issues....
Two transaction were NZD $86.24 & $63.24...I only have one computer.
The least Avast could do is a refund and explain why this has happened...

Januarary 2017 I was charged $39.99 for Avast which I DID NOT order. Bank statement shows 38201 DRI*AVAST... So DDA RECUR AUTH 022130.

I have never used anything other than the free Avast.
I am requesting a refund of the total amount of $39.99.

On December 18, 2016, I was charged IDR 270.000.- on my VISA card from DRI*Avast Softw- Shannon Co. IE without giving prior notice or asking approval from me. I had bought Avast Antivirus Software through on line system for 1 year started December 2015 and had expired on December 2016. I was suprised that DRI*Avast Softw- Shannon Co. IE re- charge on my Visa on 18 December 2016 without approval or authorization from me. I hope DRI*Avast Softw- Shannon Co. IE will refund to me for the said amount.

I received a notification on 5/19/16 that my Avast software would expire in 48 hours. I immediately wrote back (also clicked on unsubscribe) that I wanted to cancel this immediately. I received a notice that I had cancelled my account. Then today, Aug 23, 2016, I received my credit card bill which had a charge for DRI*AVAST Software for $49.99. I called the ph# on the bill which was a Minnesota ph#. I was told by the person who answered that they were a totally different company (they take care of university and college properties!!!) and that they had received hundreds of calls about AVAST charges on their credit cards. The lady who answered didn't even wait for me to explain except that I asked "Did I reach Avast Software". She immediately recognized the problem as she runs the switchboard & told me to call my credit card company as this was a fraudulent charge. I immediately called and got it disputed.

DON'T deal with AVAST software. They aren't a very good company in my view with keeping your computer safe PLUS charging me 3 months after I cancelled my subscription is just garbage.

I expect AVAST to contact me today 8/23/16 or darned soon after today to let me know that this has resolved, cancelled and no charges on my credit card.

On June 5, 2016, I was charged $42.50 on my VISA card from DRI*Avast in Minnetoka, MN. I have never done business with this software firm and could not find a web site for them. It definitely is a royal scam!! I was lucky that my credit card company is deleting this charge and will issue me a new credit card. I hope this phony firm is not connected in any way to the parent AVAST antivirius company. If so, they have a big problem.

About 2 years ago, maybe longer, I had Avast for my PC security but had canceled my account. Today I see Dri Avast has charged my checking account $42.79. I called what I thought was Avast and got some place in India who said my account was not canceled but they could cancel it for $100 and get my $42.79 refunded to me. I told them absolutely not!!! Now I have to get a new debit card and hope to find the right number to contact the real Avast. Some joker somewhere is scamming us!!

I have never even heard of this company. I checked my banking online, and was charged $100.69.

My PayPal Account was charged with $42.49 in November for a software purchase that I have never made and the only sign I could find is a pre-order invoice in my e-mail sent from Digital Rivers, Inc. I had paid for Avast Internet Security a year ago but had never requested any renewal or any other software from AVAST. Contacted PayPal and opened a claim with them and 2 months later this is all that I could get from PayPal resolving my claim:
"We've completed our review of your unauthorized transaction claim. The payment in question was sent as part of a payment agreement you previously set up with the merchant. As a result, we're unable to consider this to be an unauthorized payment.
As a courtesy, we've canceled this payment agreement for you. In the future, however, please be aware that you can manage and cancel your payment agreements directly from your PayPal account."
False! I have no agreement with any merchant.I am still shocked how come my PayPal information could not be protected from scammers like Digital Rivers, Inc. and PayPal could not do anything about it.

I ordered the Avast Cleanup product but could not get it installed. I have made three requests by tickets since 12-11-15 asking for a refund but have had no answer. Anyone I talk to refers me to the ticket site. I am extremely discouraged and find the Avast website user unfriendly. AVAST finally came to the party and have responded to my multiple contacts. The subscription has now been cancelled but the computer was still "fried".

Computer got "fried". Technicians diagnosis was either AVAST let a virus through or the "virus protection" read a microsoft auto update as a virus and trashed the hard drive. This was last year and it ended up costing $1,500 for a replacement laptop. I've now had notification that an auto renewal will be processed in a couple of weeks. I have phone AVAST, emailed them and tried to cancel the subscription using the codes emailed to me. Nothing is working. My only option now is to cancel my credit card to prevent AVAST "dipping" into my account. Solution - buy an apple mac and don't bother with virus protection software!

i bought advast grimefighter and advast pro and only received the grimefighter. I downloaded grimefighter just fine but when i went to download advast pro there is nothing there no orderm numbernothing but 48.00 dollars taken from my visa account. i would like monet back or product..
