POOR CUSTOMER SERICE

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN,
I bought my honda civic last year in Tian Seng branch(Ipoh) & serviced my car there all these while. Recently i sent in my car due to sound in dashboard & fixed it. After some time, i notice water on my dashboard, right above the air cond. When i called the service center to get my car checked on the date i could take my car for checking, the front liner told me they are fully booked but i can still walk in & might need to leave my car for 1 or 2 days there. I told the person that i cant leave my car since i have no other transport & they should take responsibility on the issue. But they say they cant do anything about it. So i called the other service center( Ban Hoe Seng), again the front liner (indian female) said the same thing to me. They can do service but STRICTLY no checking on my complaint on the day. She was rude & have no menace talking to customer. I seriously dont understand why all the honda service centers have these kind of unprofessional staffs as front liners. And why cant honda take responsibility on the problem caused by them?The worst part is my car agent telling me that the staffs in the service centers are not honda employers so they wont actually take responsibility to fix our complaints. Is this how honda treats their customer? It's very very disappointing to be honest. Seriously honda must take this into consideration since we are paying huge amount of money to buy their cars but being treated like this.

Rusty on the boots running channel

First 1k inspection on Feb 2017
First Service May 2017 less then 7k km.

I complain the boot running channel rusty on 1st inspection and was told to go back wear you purchase the vehicle. So I brought up this matter during my first service with the service adviser and submitted the warranty claim and was rejected without any reasons.
Who should i talk to in Honda Malaysia which dealer cannot do anything.
Even national car perdua rust protection also got 1 year warranty.

I took my car for my first 1000km inspection in Bilux service center and complain about the rusty on the boot channel and was told to sent back wear you bought the vehicle. Then I sent for my first service in Kajang and told the service adviser regarding the rusty on my vehicle after he submitted the warranty claim and was rejected. No explaination?

air bag

Hi,

I was informed that the airbags for my Honda Civic needs to be changed


I informed a staff by phone that I have sold my Honda City JJK5229 in 2016 in JB. Your staff informed me that they will check with JPJ to whom the car was sold to as I cant remember the details as the deal went through a second hand dealer.

I am still receiving sms and mails regarding this matter. I have shifted to KL and the mails are sent to my old address .

Will appreciate if this matter is attended to.

Bad service - Kah Motor Chan Saw Lin

I am unable to wind down my car window ( W 1126 J). I always service my car Kah Motor in Jalan Chan Saw Lin and none of the foreman had checked my window until I found out the defect.

My car is under warranty. I came to repair to Jalan Chan Sow Lin service center on 23 September 2017 at 2.45 pm. The service staff here refused to repair my car and asked me to comeback on Monday. I am going back to outstation today and unable to comeback on Monday. I have to fix my problem asap since this is a serious problem. I hope Honda Malaysia understand the severity of the problem.

I am very disappointed with the service center. Please assist me.

BATERY CIVIC 1 YEARS 1 MONTH

Saya nak complaint tentang batery honda civic , WHY Cannot claim batery ,Saya beli kereta honda civic turbo 1.5 (2016) ,
pakai kereta ,baru 1 tahun 1 bulan, batery sudah habis,Call office honda ,cakap tak boleh claim sebab sudah lebih 1 tahun,
lebih km20,000 tak boleh claim ,Mana boleh macam tu,

Poor customer service, Jimisar Kuching, Sarawak

I bought a new honda city 3 years ago. Some time in June i sent my car for scheduled servicing. 4 days later the reverse sensor was spoilt. It gave a continuos sound instead of beeping sound. I called Honda Jimisar to make an appointment n the personnel told me the sensor was spoilt. They do not have the spare parts n i have to come another day to get it changed once they had the spare parts frm KL. 1 month plus later the reverse sensor went crazy again.

I called Honda Jimisar to make another appointment. I sent my car n waited 1 whole morning till afternoon. They cannot diagnosed what is wrong n decided to play around the reverse sensors by changing the positions. The next day the reverse sensors went crazy again. If your technicians cannot do a goood job i think Honda should either fore them or send them for peoduct updates for new cars.

I regretted buying a Honda car. My old car was a Toyota Vios and the customer service is good compare to Honda - sucks!

ARREARS SALARY

I want to complaint Tian Siang Auto Care Sdn Bhd (Honda Ipoh) ARREARS MY SALARY for a few months ago after i resign my position. After 3 months probation without give me any confirmation letter. Confirmation letter clear indicate will increase salary at the next month. But at the next month when i'm saw my salary pay slip without increase my salary. BAD FAITH. Service Department Manager MR ALEX unfair in handling matters.

T&G loss

This is to lodge an official complaint to Honda Malaysia on the loss of my Touch n Go card which had caused me an extremely bad experience with Honda.

I wish to highlight that upon handing over the vehicle key to the person in charge, I was not informed to remove my valuable belongings from the vehicle. In view of Honda being a reputable International brand, I was confident
that the service centre is practicing a high standard of service with capable technicians of high integrity. Therefore, the Touch n Go card was not removed from the vehicle. Sadly, upon my own findings with friends and colleagues,
I was made known that similar cases did happen to some of them as well. My Touch n Go card was replaced with an expired card and I only realised this yesterday when I was traveling long distance to the north. My card has a balance of approximately RM87.00. This had caused a great frustration on me.

As a reputable international brand, you should ensure that these kinds of incidents do not happen by having all standards operating procedures of your own. For your information, I am working in one of the media company and
I am capable of escalating this issue to a higher level and even to the public at large.

As a result,I seek for immediate rectification on this issue and to replace with a new Touch n Go card with a refund amount of RM87.00.

Bad service from Kah Motor Chan Sow Lin

To : Managing Director and CEO Honda Malaysia and Management Team,

Dear Sir,
This is regards to my booking of Honda Civic. i have made booking fee with Kah Motor Chan Sow Lin during mid of April. i was told by the sales advisor named Max that my new car will be available by May. and today is already 8th of May, i have been calling several times to Max to ask for the status of delivery. During 2nd of May, i have called many times but yet no pick up from him. he did not even bother to return my call at all on the same day. i have even left my message on whatsapp and yet still no reply from him. Finally, he returned my call the next day saying that his boss is oversea until 8th of May whereby he couldn't get any update regarding the car delivery status. he promised to revert to me by 8th of May. And today i have made several calls again to him and yet no pick up again from him. this guy is totally irresponsible. i hope to get answer from Honda Malaysia on this matter.

please do understand that i'm a consumer that should have the right to know my car delivery status unlike Kah Motor Chan Sow Lin sales advisor does not bother to serve me again after i have made booking on it.

Faulty reverse sensor

I bought my Honda City GM6 in year 2014. Less than 3 years, my reverse sensor spoilt. Then I went Perringit Honda service centre at old klang road and get the replacement done. In less than a month, my reverse sensor back to square again. It's beeps non stop when I shift my gear to reverse mode. What's is this? This is so dissappointing. Why Honda has such poor quality parts?

I hope Honda Malaysia can look into this.

Honda HRV

Hi Honda customer services,

I want to make a complaint about my vehice honda HRV.My Car plate no is WB 2612 V. This happended since by last year Aug'2016. My HRV was bought on Aug'15, but not enought of 1 years my car already water leakage at the 2 front & back door and make my all car carpet wet. I already sent my car to Honda service at kuchai lama for 4 times, the lastest is by last sunday (05.03.17), but this issue still cannot fix & happen again & again, this is make me very dissaipointed about Honda.

This issue already me stressful & sad because why my car sent to services centre 4 times but still happened again.

May i ask Honda Malaysia can give me a properly explanation why & how to resolve this problem of my vehicle? I did not want to waste my time to go services centre & take time for checking it anymore.

I may look forward to your fast response within this week and receive an appropriate solution on this issue.

Poor Service from Taman Daya @ Johor Bahru

To whom may it concern,

I am deeply upset about the service given by the Honda service outlet at Taman Daya and would like to raise my concern & experience.

On the 29th January 2017, My car model Honda Civic air-conditioning unit went faulty, as a car user, I had to spend most of my work time travel on car, I could not bear to have these prolong issue, to resolve it soonest as possible. But understand that due to Chinese New Year Honda service centre is close. So I went down on 7th February 2017 to the respective outlet hoping for a quick fix.

Upon request of servicing of my car at the mentioned outlet above, I spent half a day for your technician to identify the underlining problem. The technician told me that it's the aircon compressor faulty but had run out of spare part, I was ask to wait for 7 days and get back to me when the spear part comes. Hence, i waited 7 days without aircon and no one contact me on the follow up. So I decided to head back to the service outlet to check. To my surprise, the spare part did not come, no one called to inform me. Moreover, they request me to WAIT for another 14 days. Now 2 weeks has passed. I had yet to receive any update from your customer service. To expedite the process, I know that I can't rely onto the service centre but to reiterate the issue several/multiple times by calling in at number 073527733, A Customer Service Officer (CSO) Ms Annie attend to my concern, to cut Long story short, she did not resolve my issue despite promise me to call back. The last call with her pertaining to our conversation is that, she promise to call me back this Friday on 24th February 2017 to service the aircon compressor. But I don't wish to take anymore step of faith, thus I want to escalate the issue to higher authority.

As a Honda user, I would like to know how can Honda compensate my lost of time and the unnecessary causes of delay.

I look forward to your quick response within this week and to receive an appropriate solution on the issue.

Service and support

I went for a car service at honda botanic. The support given was very dissapointing. I have made appointment few days in advance but ending up waiting ~4 hours to get my car. No explanation given and no proper comfort facilities for a customer waiting so long.
This is really dissapointing. Afterall this is just a second service not major.

Gearbox problem

I have send my Honda city for repair because wile i drive suddenly the car was jerking and the place where its shows the gear status is showing different symbol and its very hard to drive my car with that jerking. The next day I bring my car to kajang branch and ask them to check what is the problem, since its on Saturday they ask me leave my car there for 2 days and they will check give me a call on Monday. Then they called me and inform me that there is a problem with the gearbox, I ask its just 1 year I bought the car and how come there is a problem. The service advisor advise me that , there might be a problem when they manufacture 10 cars. I ask why its only my car got problems and the advisor advise me that they will replace it. After a long arguments and I agree to replace the gearbox and they promise me will arrange me a temporary car for me within 3 days. For 3 weeks I give them a call and ask for the temporary car and the service advisor inform me that, their branch got no temporary car and he ask me to drive my car if I want to use car. Its too ridiculous, how am I going to drive a car with jerking and hard to move? I ask the advisor and he told me that he got no other options. I forget to tell in earlier that they promise to repair my car within 1 month. After 3 weeks I call them almost every single day to request a temporary car, they provide me a car. Almost for 3 weeks everyday I have to take Uber to go to my work. When they provide me the car, the advisor advise me that will repair my car within 1 weeks. But it's already going to 2 months, and they still telling me that Honda Malaysia got no stock for the gearbox. Honda is world known company and they still advise me that they got no stock for gearbox. Its didn't create any customer satisfaction. Its not a local company to tell me that got no stock, its Honda. Kindly provide me valid answer for this.

HZN Cars Sdn Bhd-Bad Technical Expertise

From day one that I bought my car (Honda Jazz V) in June 2015, I have been having problems with my car. I have made a complain to Honda Malaysia and it was supposedly rectified. This time, when i sent in my car for service, I mentioned to the service advisor that there was a knocking sound coming from the dashboard. The technician took me for a drive and unfortunately at that time the sound did not appear but another sound did appear on the passenger side of the dashboard. I told him to please take it for a drive again and check the sound in the middle of the dashboard. Also, in my first complain to Honda i had mentioned that my brakes were jerking everytime I pressed it. They told me it was normal and all the Jazz's have the same jerking with their brakes. This time they had to change all the brake pads and discs and they said it was faulty......lucky it was under warranty. I don't understand why they couldn't check it the first time I complained.
Back to the noise in the dashboard, I left my car there for 4 days and told them to please sort it all out. The answer was insulation has been done and there was no more sound. After taking the car and driving it for about an hour, the sound in the middle of the dashboard was back again. I called and made an appointment and asked for the same technician. Unfortunately, the technician was on leave (which I did not know about until I picked up my car). I left my car there for 2 days. Another technician said the sound has been fixed! The minute I drove home the sound was back and was even more louder than before! In the service paper, the comment made by the technician was " steering cover loose,rectified already". How the hell was the sound in the MIDDLE of the DASHBOARD connected to the steering cover??? I called the service advisor back and told him I wanted an Appointment this week but till now NO News! They are hopeless and Honda cars are just made of Plastic and rattle all the time! I regret ever buying a Honda car. Never again!

Scratched Interior Door Panel

Made an appointment at Honda Service Center (Kah Motor) Chan Sow Lin to rectify the problems below for my 1 month old Honda City E Spec:-

1. 'Tak..tak' noise when closing driver side door (FRT RHS). - service agent agreed it was an unusual noise and to be rectified.

2. Water vapour in front 2 headlights when raining/washing car. - not an issue according to the service agent and its normal for all cars. Really? Didn't have an issue with my 10 year old Toyota, 3 year old Proton and 8 year old Perodua.
Close to 12:00pm, my car was ready as the door sound was fixed. When I first opened my car door at the service center, noticed 'two deep scratches' on my door panel. Informed the service agent and he apologised and said they will be replacing a brand new door panel and it may take another 2-3 hours to perform the replacement. I told them to proceed with the replacement and waited for about an hour. At 1:00pm I was called me into the Service Bay Area, where they showed that they replaced with a brand new panel which they just took from the store. At first glance I knew it's not a brand new panel but more like used one with some minor scratches . They denied it was a new unit after some talking when them. There's nothing more I could do, therefore I left the service center. Then decided to post this on Honda Malaysia's Official Facebook page...
Does this how Honda Malaysia treats their customers? No doubt the door sound issue have been rectified but how about the damage done during the rectification? Shouldn't they be extra careful? Totally disappointed with Honda's service!!!

Honda Bangi - Bad serice

This is in regards with car which was serviced on last Saturday 29th October.

I gave my car for service at Bangi service center. Once the service was done, one of Honda employee accidentally locked himself out of the car leaving car keys on dashboard. They used few tools and wire to open the lock. In this process they damaged, paint, rubber seal of door, power windows and door lock at driver side. They acknowledged there mistake and promised to take care of the damage done.

Then later on the same day after service, we realized that alternator has been damaged/malfunctioning. Which resulted my car's battery to drain.

Now the issue is, even though issue happened while handling service, they are not ready to accept there fault and replace it. They are asking me to pay, shamelessly they are offering me 20% discount on the value of ALTERNATOR. I am not happy with the service, customer handling or anything for that matter.

Service level and tenical expe very low

I want to complaint about your dealer Honda authorized service center - BANTING STAR SDN BHD. My car had some problem , so I go there to repair, after they checked it, they give me a quotation cost me rm2600++. However when I take back my car on Friday, I just drive one day only, on Sunday , my car suddenly breakdown on middle of the road , can't start engine, before my car repair ,never had this kind of problem happen. After that, I go that service center ask them what is the reason suddenly breakdown on the road, after they checked ,they tell me is technical problem ,due to their staff not put battery cable back after they repair , once put it back , the problem should be gone. Unfortunately, on Monday when I know off from work , my car breakdown on middle of road again , the problem same as 1st time . So I call them again , they came and tell me need to drive back to service center and check again. After 2 day past , they call me , my car have so many problem , need to change many things and tell me they don't know how to repair it. Now my car more worse than before they repair ,totally can't drive anymore . I am feel very disappointed of HONDA company, how come yours can simply give the dealer license to this kind of person .

Very Rude Service Advisor

Last week I bring my car to Tian Siang Auto Care Sdn Bhd Ipoh Perak to 40000 km service. I feel very angry with the SERVICE ADVISE who attend to me the named MOHAN A/L SREETHARAN. His answer very RUDE when entertain me. This person should not sit at front line. When I asked for his name, his asked back to me: "Why! you want to complain me." This is very BAD ATTITUTE.

Very Rude Service Advisor

I'm ERIC from PENANG, I' m having a HONDA ACCORD 2.4 year 2008, current mileage 37k KM, 100% accident free. The car having a huge noise from the back since few months ago and it become clearer since this week. I found the problem came from the rear seat panel(friction between 2 steel plate) after I took off the rear seats & speakers board. I send the car to VIVAHILL HILL Penang(panel workshop) to clarify and make warranty claim. But, a disappointing answer from them is I need to pay for the particular repair due to my warranty period has passed. The same answer given by HONDA MALAYSIA after I called.
Should this manufacture defect and unqualified products' issue bared by consumers? Please high light that HONDA in MALAYSIA is an expensive, well-known & high quality brand since few decades back, and your good company is highly focus on Customer Service Index.
