The repair center in Farmingdale, NY has absolutely no compassion,

Washing machine which is 2 months old breaks! Takes a repair tech one week to come by and "fix it", no time frame till day of. Comes in for 2 minutes to tell me he needs to order a pump and will call me when it comes in. Ok so my whole day I took off work for repair tech to come in for 2 min??? Then 2 days later I get a call that the part is in but the earliest they can come is another week, and again no time frame??!! I requested if they could please give me a window of time. I am 9 months pregnant and have to see my dr. that day but also want my machine fixed. The repair center in Farmingdale, NY has absolutely no compassion, the answer I get is they can maybe request a time frame but can't guarantee it. Just ridiculous! I will never do business with this "family" company ever again! And I will tell all my family and friends what a horrible experience this has been.

I cannot recommend purchasing anything through P C Richard & Son in Paramus NJ after this horrible experience

I have been TRYING to have my LG Washer Dryer serviced for over a month now. After evaluating the machine, they told us they need the parts ordered. Since then, the excuses for not coming range from "I don't have the parts today" to "We need two men to do this job so we won't be coming." I have taken time off from work to wait for them, and wasted countless hours of my weekends to no avail. I am STILL waiting for someone just to call to reschedule the appointment for a 4th time and I am still without a washer/dryer. The communication and professionalism of this department is severely lacking. I cannot recommend purchasing anything through P C Richard & Son in Paramus NJ after this horrible experience. If you do, you better hope you don't experience any technical problems...

Do not shop at P C Richard & Son in Paramus NJ

Do not!!!! I repeat ... do not shop for appliances at P C Richard & Son!!!!! I purchased 5000.00 plus worth of appliances in August 2014 for my newly renovated kitchen... hence, I am still awaiting as of October 2014 for my stove and oven to be delivered. They told me at the time of purchase all the appliances were available. Then their story changed to their store policy for delivery is 3 weeks. The situation is so bad the appliance manufacturer called me direct... gave me a one week arrival date... again. Hence today is October 11, 2014 and I am still awaiting the appliances.

My cabinets have been cut for the immediate arrival. But nooooo, no stove or oven so no kitchen for 2 months. Waiting on PC Richard & Son delivery. Do not shop at P C Richard & Son in Paramus NJ. Go to Best Buy or Lowe's. If my cabinets were not previously cut for those appliances I would have gotten my money back and went to Best Buy or Lowe's myself. I'm giving you fair warning!!!!! Do not shop at P C Richard & Son, they are the worst. When I called the corporate office, the cust svc rep's first words were "Do you want your money back??" How professional. I said nooooo I want my appliances that were to be delivered 4-6 weeks ago. I pray this review helps someone else!!!

I canceled my order and went somewhere else with free delivery and got it the next day.

I bought a dryer and was told max 6 days I'll get it.I waited a week and got a call saying that I was going to get it the next day.

Three hour later I got a call saying the warehouse will be closed so I'll get it 4-5 days. I don't know what kind of people work for this company but I'm never going back there again.

I canceled my order and went somewhere else with free delivery and got it the next day.

Delivered today and was told they could not install as there was no gas hook up

I ordered a gas dryer.Was told delivery was $49 and set up free and only charged for any additional parts that might be needed..

I paid up front for the parts. Delivered today and was told they could not install as there was no gas hook up. Told me I needed a plumber. Then I was told they COULD do it for an additional $75.

I told them not to even take the dryer off the truck. Called the store and manager told me that the driver said the dryer could not fit thru my door. When I tried to explain to the true situation, he kept interrupting me and getting nasty.

Tomorrow I will go shopping at a reputable appliance store.Never again will I go to P C Richard & Son in Paramus.

there is no need to subject yourself to this outrageous behavior and total lack of customer service

New refrigerator was delivered.I asked the installers if instead of taking the old refrigerator away, if they could just bring it down four steps to my lower level.

I was told there would be an additional charge . I paid the "fee" because I had no choice. When I asked for a receipt, I was told there would be no receipt, it was just between him and me. I had a tip already prepared to give the installer, but being forced to pay a "fee" is nothing more than a shakedown.

I called the store after the installer left and was told they would speak to him, but I was given no satisfaction at all. On top of that, I had to ask the installer to put the handles on the refrigerator. Also, the they never leveled the unit and it shakes whenever the door is opened or closed.

I told the store that Nick would never have a delivery like that. I will never shop P C Richard & Son in Paramus again.

and I will tell everyone I can not to do business with them.With Best Buy and other stores doing price matching, there is no need to subject yourself to this outrageous behavior and total lack of customer service.

PC Richards - these chumps are working for a paltry so called commission.stay out of all pc richard stores period.in this day and age u can go there to look at the product.than come home and rode it online.

or just buy at any other retail store,because the rest of the retailers rare not on commission,so zero used car salesman tactics.avoid pc richard and son completely.todd costello is in charge there,and that place uses high pressure sales tactics form the day of the dinosaur.if u like to shop at a place that uses high pressure sales tactics,pc richard is your place to shop.they are an insult to your intelligence.ps …..i know first hand i worked there and earned a six figure income by banging customers like i was trained to do by them.avoid this scam hellhole at all costs.shop elsewhere.

?! Not only did I lose an entire day but also have to pay P C Richard & Son a $50.00 delivery fee!

I went to the Paramus, NJ store on the evening to purchase a dishwasher. Purchased a unit, paid and set up delivery for Wednesday within the hours of 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Tuesday evening I got a voice mail confirming delivery for set time. Date of delivery, I go out to run errands and check delivery time and now it's 7:00 Am to 7:00 PM!!! Stayed home all day and when husband walked through the door I told him I had to wait all day for the dishwasher so he called the store and now they say anywhere from 4:15 PM to 7:15 PM. What do people who work do under these circumstances?! Not only did I lose an entire day but also have to pay P C Richard & Son a $50.00 delivery fee!

STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG DRYERS AND TO STAY AWAY FROM PC RICHARD AND SON IN PARAMUS

I purchased a samsung washer and dryer from P C Richard and Son in Paramus and the dryer has not worked properly from just about the beginning.service techs have been here 6 times.The dryer would shut off in the middle of cycles.

Service tech came and said it was the wiring harness.he ordered the part,another tech came and installed the harness and the dryer wouldn't turn on.

He called the manufacture and they said the harness blew out the boards.Those parts were then brought the next day and installed and still the dryer does not turn on I've spoken to service multiple times and said that due to this dryer never working right and all of MY time that they are wasting that I want this unit taken away and a new one delivered to me and they can fix this one on THEIR time.Was supposed to get phone call this afternoon from service telling me what's going on but he went home for the day instead of calling me and now I have to wait another for a phone call....THE BEST ADVICE I CAN GIVE YOU IS TO STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG DRYERS AND TO STAY AWAY FROM PC RICHARD AND SON IN PARAMUS.....

they just put me on hold and came back to the phone and hung it up.

I have had a horrific time with PC Richard and Son in NJ.1 year ago I purchased a refrigerator after the first one I purchased went bad. It should have been a simple exchange since I had a warranty but no such luck. They were extremely rude in the Paramus store and not very knowledgeable. I finally got things squared away. Now I am trying to make sure I can redeem my credit by checking over the phone. This process has taken over an hour. I am on hold while I write this for the 2nd time today for over 20 minutes. The other 2 times in 2 different locations they just put me on hold and came back to the phone and hung it up.

I sent emails to company with no response. As of November still no response and no refund.

I was to call Friday after 9pm to obtain my 3 hour window as directed. There was no answer and I called several times. I called customer service - they stated usually not in am but I continued to call number without success. Saturday at 9 am the delivery man called that he would be there in 20 minutes. I was not home - was in class. I explained the previous details and he said he would call back after 11am when I would be home. He never called. I called him 2 times - called customer service 2 times and the P C Richard and Son in Paramus store 2 times - each time was unsuccessful in getting a status. I tried to cancel order by calling those same numbers and just got the run around and was put on perpetual hold by Mit manager Joesph Botros Jr.. I sent emails to company with no response. As of November still no response and no refund.

I will not be buying from P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ again.

So at this point in time I am stuck with a broken dishwasher that is under warranty that I have absolutely no idea when or if it is going to be repaired. All I have from PC Richard is a bunch of pathetic cover ups and excuses. I feel very sad for anyone that listens to the store sales rep and pays for an extended warranty. Service within a regular warranty is dismal. I will not be buying from P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ again. I do not want to pay the money to get something and not be able to get it fixed in a timely manner or from what I am currently seeing, ever fixed

not once received a phone call from them

I have never before had to deal with such horrible customer service. I bought a refrigerator and ice maker from these people and the ice maker never worked. I had 5 different service calls and was told something different every time. They always say they will call you but NEVER do. I am now dealing with trying to get someone to help me with getting something done about the service guy tearing up my kitchen floor when he attempted to move the refrigerator. I have sent pictures now 3 TIMES and each time they give me a different story and don't know the people I have already dealt with.

** is supposedly an Outside Sales manager and I was dealing with him but I can't get him to return emails and the number on his email is wrong. Now I have been told to send the pictures again October ** and can't get her to confirm the pictures I emailed to her at her request. This has been going on for over a month.. and before that it took me calling and having someone look at the ice maker for over 2 months with 5 different people coming out to fix it.. Finally got it fixed and it was something that should have been found by the first technician. Now the last technician ruined my floor and I can't get anyone to care or acknowledge my pictures.

These people always tell me they will call me and I have never, not once received a phone call from them. I am the one that is having to contact them. This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with and once I report to the BBB and hopefully get my floor fixed.. I will NEVER use again and will make sure no one I know uses them. I don't have my order number... but my phone number is ** and my name is Sharon**.. I don't expect anything to come of this complaint either.. I am really exasperated with this company and can't understand why a customer would be treated this way.

HORRIBLE SERVICE - Delivery
I was supoosed to have my dishwasher delivered on Friday after 2pm. P C Richard and Son showed up at my house at 10am and wondered where I was. Rescheduled the delivery for Saturday. Installer called at 2:45 Saturday, said he was on his way. Gave him my complete address with step by step instructions. I called dispatch at 5:45 wondering where he was. Installer said he would be at my house in 30 to 45 minutes. Called dispatch again at 7:05 pm, this time installer said he didn't have my address and it was not his area. Called dispatch again Saturday morning and spoke to supervisor who really didn't care either but said he would TRY to get the dishwasher out to me that day. It did finally arrive after I had wasted 2 full days at home waiting. Monday morning I called the Mit Manager Joseph Botros Jr. and he has yet to call me back. Needless to say, I will never be going back to P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ. I will stick with Sears like I should have done in the first place.

They just lost a customer. I'm never buying from them again

I purchased a washing machine from PC Richards. I called in for repair on my washing machine. It was working but it was making a sound. They took my washing machine apart and they refused to come back and repair it because they stated that it had water damage. I asked him to come back to put the machine together. I was told that it will come back, but I had to sign a waiver. I was told it was a two-man job, but they would be back on Saturday. They never came back. I called them again they told me to suck it up. They're not coming back. I need to call FEMA or the insurance. The company sucks. Bad customer service. I used to get my appliances from P C Richard & Son in Paramus NJ I have maybe 15 things in my house from P C Richard & Son in Paramus NJ . Guess what? They just lost a customer. I'm never buying from them again. ** customer service.

The mit manager Joseph Botros Jr told me it's not possible

I bought a warranty from PC Richard for my computer for 5 years from 2005 to 2010. When the contract was over, I bought another one for 5 more years, 2010 to 2015. My computer crashed, I took it to the store like I used to do for repair. The mit manager Joseph Botros Jr told me it's not possible because the employee who had sold me the warranty had made a mistake, I can only have a refund.

P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ you won't waste your time or money there either.

I purchased a Whirlpool washer and dryer at P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ 1 years ago along with a 5 year "extended warranty". I paid a little over $1200.00 for the washer. Yesterday I had a repairman come to fix my washer and he gave me an estimate of $1115.69 for parts and labor saying that my unit had no manufacturer's warranty although Whirlpool usually warrants most of their front loading machines for this problem for 5 to 10 years. He further suggested that I contact Whirlpool saying that they are usually good at working with their customers in situations like this. I tried without success. So then I looked at my paperwork from the sale of the washer and realized that I had purchased the "extended warranty" and yes it was slightly over the five years but I thought that the sales manager would help me especially since they never contacted me to renew the warranty which I would have done.

The mit manager Joseph Botros Jr.was beyond rude.I asked about the warranty and he said it was expired by over a year! Their "extended warranty" starts when the appliance is delivered. So I paid for a warranty on top of the manufacturer's warranty? Why in the world would anyone sell you a piece of crap like that? That's not how my auto warranty worked or any other extended warranty I've ever purchased. Extended means you extend the warranty Beyond that of what the manufacturer offers!!!! He then told me that appliances only have a life span of 10 years so I just need to buy a new one and be done with it. I asked him if he would please try to at least contact Whirlpool on my behalf and help me to get some of the parts covered under a warranty. Not only did he refuse but hung up on me. Needless to say,P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ you won't waste your time or money there either

He did not apologize for his staff

I just called the P C Richard & Son in Paramus NJ and was treated very rudely by the alleged manager,Joseph Botros Jr.. He was so rude that I suspected him of being on drugs. After complaining that his staff had told me three different stories about the availability of a waher/dryer combination, he responded, "Well, what do you want from us?" He did not apologize for his staff. My response to his question was that I wanted him to apologize for being so rude. It didn't happen. He hung up on me.

This store is by far the sleaziest, worst store I ever patronized. Buyer beware!!!!

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator in Jan. '13. The salesman didn't take the hinges into consideration when we asked for size. We had to cut cabinets $400 cost. The machine was defective. After 4 service calls, they exchanged it. Another defective one. 4 service calls and they exchanged it. They told me my model was discontinued and told me I had to pay another $500.00 if I wanted another replacement..Then they told me I had to purchase a 2-year warranty if I want to get the replacement. I paid it as I had NO REFRIGERATOR. This store is by far the sleaziest, worst store I ever patronized. Buyer beware!!!!

They made us wait all day and then the repairman said he would not install it

We were scheduled for an installation by P.C. Richard and Son in Paramus NJ. They made us wait all day and then the repairman said he would not install it because it was in the garage. It was P C Richard and Son that delivered it there in the first place. Now they say they cannot install it because we did not read the spec sheet for the fridge, which I know for a fact that they did not mention to me when we bought it. Craig Ruppert was responsible and would not allow me to speak to anyone higher up because he said he was the boss.
