They do not care about the customer after the sale is made. MIT MANAGER JOSEPH BOTROS JR.

I paid for a service contract for Frigidaire fridge.Handle broke and called them for part and service.Called them fr service and was told that it was ordered and would be received in 2-3 weeks.

It has now been 3 months. Called several times to complain and was told there was nothing they can do and cannot contact Frigidaire except by fax. Finally ordered the part myself and paid for it. They dont care about anything but sales.

Don't invest in service contract. THEY SUCK!

They do not care about the customer after the sale is made. MIT MANAGER JOSEPH BOTROS JR. TOLD ME 3 TIMES THAT HE WOULD SPEAK TO HIS MANAGER AND CALL ME BACK..NEVER CALLED.

P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ - not pleased with experience at store

I could add my complaints to the list about the lack of caring of the sales personnel to the rudeness of the delivery department and lack of knowledge of the installers and the fact that I order an ice maker with the refrigerator and they "forgot it" but seeing the many bad reviews on this page I don't think anyone in this family own business reads the reviews and if they do they must not care, This company is just getting worse to deal with. Five years ago I would have recommend it but do not feel the same today.

I have been treated so badly.P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ.

My Samsung washer has not worked since the Middle of July. The first man stayed only 20 min. and told me that he couldn't do anything because I had not writen down the "code" from my display screen. There was not a code, never was. The display screen just said "does not drain, call service".

The next repair man decided that it was the pump. I had to wait a week before that part came in. I was told that they would call me, which they never did so I called the next Mon. only to be told that the part had come in the prievious Thursday.

The next repair man brought the new pump, took the top and front off the machine, but only with the help of my Superintendent and my porter. He replaced the pump but did not stay long enough to check to see if it was working properly. He left my machine out in the middle of the floor so my Super. and porter had to push the washer back and found that the repairman had broken the lock when he took the front off. I called P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ again and they sent yet another "repairman" out, but without a new lock. That had to be ordered so another week went by. When the repair man finally instulled the new lock he found that the machine still did not work, it was the same "does not drain" message. He told me it was the the computer board which he would have to order. Craig Ruppert , the manager at my P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ has been trying his best to help me but it seems that the repair service has all the leverage and he has not been able to get them to resolve the problem. They told him that they had only been out two times, which is blantly untrue!!! They have been to my home five times.

I have spent over $40,000 with P.C. Richard & Son over the years because I bought all my appliances from them when I did two major renovations. Everything from my Sub-Zero, to my 5 air-conditioners to my 3 different microwave ovens to my washer and dryer. The only reason I purchased from P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ was because they advertise that they have their own repairmen.

I have been treated so badly, that it is nothing less that totally outrageous.

DO NOT BUY MAYTAG PRODUCTS!!! FROM P C RICHARD AND SON IN PARAMUS NJ.

Have had this machine for over 5 years and it has been an almost constant headache with walking and shaking.Maytag does not stand behind their products - know this upfront.

They keep sending "certified" techs to fix the problem over the years with no lasting results. I just moved to a new home with a main floor laundry. The problems have escalated and the techs now tell me that Maytag washers are not stable on wood/vinyl floors. The machine shakes and rattles more violently than it did in the past, and continues to walk.

The techs told me that this particular machine was taken off the market about a year after it was produced due to these problems. Maytag corp consumer affairs says they have no info,but their techs told me theirs are "crappy machines".

Bottom line: DO NOT BUY MAYTAG PRODUCTS!!! FROM P C RICHARD AND SON IN PARAMUS NJ. They are *** just like their own service techs say

Mit Manager Joe Botros Jr ,he abruptly hung up on me without even hearing me out.

I would like to leave a comment regarding the sales representative that I was dealing with. He was helpful in obtaining my quote and great with follow up. However, he just called me to follow up and to inquire about the status of my order. Upon hearing that I decided to proceed with another vendor, Mit Manager Joe Botros Jr ,he abruptly hung up on me without even hearing me out. I felt that it was very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional of him. I definitely made the right choice to not to purchase appliances from P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ with manager representatives that conduct themselves so poorly with potential customers

P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ who seemed not helpful

Received a delivery of four appliances which appeared to be in good condition.It was 30 days before I was unable to install the Kitchenaid dishwasher when I noticed that the bottom of the unit was slightly bent, preventing proper installation.

I corresponded very nicely with the customer service rep from P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ who seemed not helpful. The next day I received an email where they flatly refused to replace the product.

Never again.

Do yourself a favor and shop at your local Home Depot, Lowes or even Sears for that matter.They are much more concerned with your repeat business than this vendor

So I bought a brand new fridge in July 2014, and by last week we discovered that the freezer had a Freon leak and needed repair. Not only did they not come right away, but the first guy that came out was useless...the second guy came out and told us exactly what was wrong and that they (P C Richard and Son in Paramus) should send a new fridge because the repair would be massive - so we call..They want us TO BUY A LOANER until they can get ours fixed instead of just replacing a fridge that's already under warranty - ARE YOU KIDDING ME? They suck

do not buy at P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ.

I purchased a $3000.washer and dryer from PC Richard.

I have had nothing but problems with P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ from the beginning. The machines were delivered and both dented on delivery. Delivery people did not make me aware of this. The washer was not leveled and shook so much they had to come back to level it.

A few days later my laundry room filled with hot air and I had to have another service call where it was discovered they never connected the vent line properly. I asked about the direction of the doors and was told that was a custom several hundred dollar order. The other day while looking for something in the dryer book I discovered it is a four screw deal that should be done on delivery. So after calling the store and getting a repair appointment for today, and told they I would be called last night with a 4 hour window, I called when I didn't hear from them and was told it was not scheduled for today.

I rearranged my day to be available for them. No one ever calls back when they say they do.

Do yourself a favor and do not buy at P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ.I will tell this story to everyone.

I am going back and forth with them and they keep giving excuse to replace it.

KITCHE AID appliances package four items for a total of $6,000 and refrigerator door was damaged and dishwasher stainless steel panel had spots that would not go away even after i polished with steel cleaner. I am going back and forth with them and they keep giving excuse to replace it. First they said your door and panel is on order. Then they said company does not make that model any more. My sales rep was Nick S

In Paramus P C Richard and Son store. I think they are playing the game and hoping customer will forget about these issues. Please help.

. I called the store,mit managerJoseph Botros Jr and he said that he couldn't help me

I bought several appliances from them in May, which I had delivered several weeks later at my new place.I also decided to buy a tv, which I was told that I had to bring home myself that day in order to get the advertised to deal because it was an older model and they only had a few left in the store.

I kept the tv in the box because I was moving shortly. When I opened it up after I had moved, I couldn't get the tv to turn on. I called the store,mit managerJoseph Botros Jr and he said that he couldn't help me because it had been 30 days since I had purchased it. He told me I must have dropped it, which I did not.

I had him send a technician out to see the tv and he said it was physical damage which isn't covered by the warranty.

Meanwhile, there is not a scratch on the tv and I have yet to receive an explanation as to how they can determine it is physical damage.They won't give me my money back or let me exchange it for another tv.

so should anyone considering a large or small purchase from P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ.

WARNING!!! P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ does not warn you of their return policy prior to your purchase. They will tell you it's posted everywhere, but it most certainly isn't. And because they won't tell you verbally before you make a large purchase I will!

"If opened and/or used, this merchandise is non-returnable and not sold on a trial basis. If any repairs are required, service will be done in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty."

This information appears only on the sales slip. It is not posted at all the registers, and the salespeople do not inform you of the policy either. They do hard sell you to get you to take out a store charge and buy service plans and technical support, but even when they know full well the merchandise has to be removed from its packaging and plugged in to determine whether it's compatible, they don't tell you the very act of seeing if the product works renders it non-returnable. In my case I was told to not only bring back the computer, but all the monitors (4) that wouldn't work with it for their service department to determine if there was indeed any problem. If they determined there was a problem, they would fix or replace the computer I had purchased. As they only carry computers from one manufacturer and I currently had a computer from the same manufacturer purchased directly from the manufacturer, with the same issues, the last thing I would want is a replacement of merchandise from that manufacturer.

Other stores have return policies that allow 15 days, and actual trial of the merchandise. GO THERE!!! It's not like you are getting particularly knowledgeable sales help at P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ. You are getting nothing but salespeople who will sell you the store if they can, inadequate customer service, and merchandise that at best may not suit your needs, at worst doesn't function properly with no recourse. No one buys over $1000 in merchandise if they are informed that the very act of seeing if it works in a situation that has been thoroughly explain to the sales help will render their purchase non-refundable. Had I been informed I would have gone elsewhere, so would most people, and so should anyone considering a large or small purchase from P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ.

STAY AWAY FROM PC RICHARD AND SON IN PARAMUS NJ....

I purchased a samsung washer and dryer from P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ and the dryer has not worked properly from just about the beginning.service techs have been here 6 times.The dryer would shut off in the middle of cycles.

Service tech came and said it was the wiring harness.he ordered the part,another tech came and installed the harness and the dryer wouldn't turn on.

He called the manufacture and they said the harness blew out the boards.Those parts were then brought the next day and installed and still the dryer does not turn on I've spoken to service multiple times and said that due to this dryer never working right and all of MY time that they are wasting that I want this unit taken away and a new one delivered to me and they can fix this one on THEIR time.Was supposed to get phone call this afternoon from service telling me what's going on but he went home for the day instead of calling me and now I have to wait another for a phone call....THE BEST ADVICE I CAN GIVE YOU IS TO STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG DRYERS AND TO I purchased a samsung washer and dryer from PC Richards and the dryer has not worked properly from just about the beginning.service techs have been here 6 times.The dryer would shut off in the middle of cycles.

This store is by far the sleaziest MIT Manager Joseph Botros Jr. I ever patronized. Buyer bewareP C Richard and Son in Paramus!!!!

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator in Jan. '14. The salesman didn't take the hinges into consideration when we asked for size. We had to cut cabinets $400 cost. The machine was defective. After 4 service calls, they exchanged it. Another defective one. 4 service calls and they exchanged it. They told me my model was discontinued and told me I had to pay another $500.00 if I wanted another replacement..Then they told me I had to purchase a 2-year warranty if I want to get the replacement. I paid it as I had NO REFRIGERATOR. This store is by far the sleaziest MIT Manager Joseph Botros Jr. I ever patronized. Buyer bewareP C Richard and Son in Paramus!!!!

Had to wait 5 business days for someone to come and look at it

My new Samsung washer broke two weeks ago.Water pouring out of the bottom of machine.

Had to wait 5 business days for someone to come and look at it. He said not only was the motor bad, but the housing had cracked and that was a part that needed to be ordered. Several days later a technician came back with the motor, but not the housing. Said the first technician had ordered the correct part but that he had been given the wrong one.

I call again and was told the right part would be in the following week, but they couldn't schedule an installation call until it actually came. I called and found out the part was in, but the first available service appointment was more than two weeks away! Either they sell a lot of defective products or they don't have enough trained technicians. My machine was under warranty so maybe I wasn't given priority because I wasn't paying for the service.

Doubt I will ever buy from them again.They say they "service what they sell" but only if you willing to wait forever for them to show up.

P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ to install a simple gas cooktop without causing a gas leak.

Yesterday was the 4th visit from P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ to install a simple gas cooktop without causing a gas leak.My super has also visited 3 times with HIS gas detector since the store installers DON'T have any, and National Grid also had to come.

The last PC repairman COULDN"T read the tag that GRID left behind and asked ME where the leak was! Then said he couldn't fix it because he only did repaired appliancess not connections! Two different people from the store keep calling me to arrange exchange, reinstall.

Neither seems to know about the other or the revised purchase that was made.Shop there at your peril.

I called the store manager Craig Ruppert and he said that he couldn't help me

NEVER, buy anything from P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ

I have never experienced such incompetent service. I made the horrible mistake buying a full kitchen worth of appliance from P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ because they beat the prices of others.

The fridge was damaged and it has been over FIVE MONTHS of calls and useless services visits without any resolution.

Explain to them i DONT WANT A GIFT CARD TO YOUR STORE!!! Just replace my Food!

P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ Tech came out to my residence on several occations to repair a simple ice maker problem. Each time they ordered the wrong part. Finally they order the whole ice maker asembally and come out to install only to puncture the refrigerator line in the process. The tech leaves only to find out later that the freon gas has been leaking in my kitchen all day. All my food is spoiled in my fridge and freezer. We noticed an oily residue all over the inside of the fridge and contains.

I purchased a ten year warranty for the fridge. I called the store and was told that the same fridge is gonna cost me $800 more. As the Manager James Langford that I purchased it from no longer works there. He had given me a good deal. I explained that I wanted the same one. He said he would honor the old price after I explained to him what his tech did? Really...

Now that I have my new fridge i asked them to replace the food that I lost. He said they dont have any programs for replacing food.I stopped him and i Explained that his tech BROKE my fridge so he offers me a $100 gift card to pc richards. Then after another 20 minutes on the phone it goes up to $200. And now its three hundred gift card to pc richards. Explain to them i DONT WANT A GIFT CARD TO YOUR STORE!!! Just replace my Food! They dont take responsibility for their techs. The techs are clueless!!!!

this "CLOWN" hands me the warranty brochure and tells me to read it.

Horrible service. Feel free to go there if you feel free to go there if you enjoy being lied to. Spoke with their P C Richard & Son in Paramus NJ MIT manager Joe Botros Jr. Yet to find a worse one than him. I spent more than $25,000 in last 2 years at this store for TVs and appliances. Always bought extended warranty, as they told me if I ever have a problem with any of these products just to bring it to them and they will replace it no question asked. But now that I brought my TV back for the first time, this "CLOWN" hands me the warranty brochure and tells me to read it. Also says that what the sales rep tells me is not his concern, I signed the warranty and it's my problem, I gotta wait 8 to 10 days before they decide what's wrong with it. Never spending a penny at this place again

I purchased a Samsung refrig. when it was delivered it had a broken handle o the freezer.Which was noted by the installer & noted on their receipt,which was on ncr paper so the store had a record of it.It was del. July 7th 2014 it is still broken.My wife made many calls to them.the salesman,and a manager Craig Ruppert who said they would take care of it.But nothing has been done.Iwould like to get a working handle on my new refrig before the paint on the door gets scratched by the broken handle.And we are left responsible

Horrible manager name Craig Ruppert in P C Ricahard & Son in Paramus NJ was extremely rude and disrespectful needs to change his attitude towards clients he thought by changing his language while speaking no one was going to understand what he was saying but he was wrong, by chasing customer throughout parking lot,why you are not buying.sometimes its not so good to judge others by just the looks. Worst manager ever !!!!

I would never buy from P C Richard & Son in Paramus NJ

Inspect the appliance while the delivery guy is still there if your not happy send it back right away. If he will not stay make him wait while you call P C Richard & Son in Paramus NJ and get an return so you can return it....


When it was time for us to install the appliances, the INSIDE of the wine fridge was missing some rivets looked like someone tried to fix a screwdriver or something and scratched it all up and the wine drawer fell off when opened .

I called P C Richard & Son in Paramus NJ expecting they would take care of it but they did not they just kept pushing the issue off week after week after week then closed for holidays and now over a month later are saying its too late I cant return the wine cooler....

I went and cancelled the order in person since I lost money and time

Ordered a dishwasher on a Saturday nite.$1100 delivered and installed.

Mr George of a salesman told us that he can have it delivered and installed the following Thursday. I told him that he should make it Saturday, nobody will be home, wife working and I had some place to be that was extremely time sensitive. He still put it down for Thursday. On Wednesday morn, wife gets call that says they will be there on Thursday.

He texts me to tell me. I told her it had to be Saturday. I re arrange my day, lose a ton of money and time on a project that absolutely had to be done on that Thursday, burned all sorts if energy to do so. Wife still re arranges the day for Saturday.

So after all the time and aggravation on my end, I went and cancelled the order in person since I lost money and time, so can he. He lost a sale and commission that totalled far less than what I lost in that day.

I spoke with his manager Craig Ruppert about the incompetence on his part and if I wanted this, I would have stayed with another company that I am a 3rd generation customer and card holder of.The manager Craig Ruppert was pretty pissed too.
