Please bring back the history channel 2 > Viceland is one of the worst channel on tv. Also on the remaining history channel all we see are American pickers and Pawn stars. Please bring back history 2.

I'm severely disappointed in how the programming has changed on the history channel in the last few years! History and h2 used to be my favorite channels hands down. Now I never watch them! When you started putting all the crappy "reality " shows on history at least I still had h2. But then you went and changed that to Viceland! WTF! I see enough pot smoking loosers in daily life I don't need to watch them on tv. There is still a huge section of society that actually wants to educate themselves while entertaining. Please please bring back history to the history channel!

Put the wrong program on it said it was mantracker but it came up with mountain men was unhappy and would like you to get it wright in the future.

I can't understand ho you still allow pawn stars on your network ? You can rest assure I as well as any person I know will follow your lead.. And make you a History channel.... We consumers deserve a better network that worries about our concerns.. And it's obvious that a corrupt member of Pawn Stars has no effect on your thoughts as a intelligent audience and you support all that is wrong with AMERICA... TODAY... My cable company will be terminated unless they no longer offer PAWN STARS!!!!

My family misses American Restoration. Please bring it back. We all learn from the show, along with Pawn Stars, American Pickers, and Counting Cars. They all contain some good information. They are just good shows that are interesting, but don't require much thought. Please bring Rick's Restoration back for season 8.

Would somebody kindly explain to me what a family-run greedy revolving around nothing but money pawn shop in Las Vegas has to do with history there's no one in that family are in that show that cares about anything going on in the world except their own egos it in their own greed as to how much money they can make off of the television show you have one screaming idiot in there that I personally would just love to slap him silly just to see if you could knock some sense into him and then you have the old man and Rick senior who are not carrying about anybody or anything the only thing in life that they worship is the almighty dollar and then you have American Pickers which started off as a very nice show and I remember a time when they couldn't spend more than $10,000 on something and now the History Channel has made celebrities out of them and you're traveling all over the world and buying all these quarter of a million and half a million-dollar object just to turn around and resell them to make more money because they're just greedy I enjoyed the History Channel when it first came out and over the last year-and-a-half I've watched it less and less and now I just content to completely bypassed the channel altogether in your latest one forged in fire who cares about how many things you can make into a knife once again really really historically related to something what I have no idea you've gone away completely from what the original History Channel was set up to do and the shows that used to provide all you succeeded at doing now is making celebrities and multi-millionaires out of arrogance screaming idiots

I can't get past all the advertising to watch any of the shows

I had been A faithful watcher of American Restorations featuring Rick Dale and his family . When I tuned in to watch the new season much to my disappointment I see the Dale family is no longer on the show and the show is now gender biased and after the first episode which I barely made it through I have not watched the show since . Get rid of Pawn Star's and bring Rick Dale back .

Never liked pawn brokers, from nasty grandpa to chum bucket stupid. You then duplicated stupid family run business to ice pilots, right down to another dumb chum son and providing as well a drunk star "father" figure (boozer nose/poxed ought to have been your first clue). You lost me within the first few minutes. Not interested in another bad spin-off.

Very disappointed, this show is one of very few interesting shows on dstv currently, until now.
The best part of the show to watch is the testing of the knives after watching how hard they work on creating these masterpieces the highlight is the testing. Why on earth are these sections now being cut out???
Put a PG on if due to violence or whatever the case may be this is what the viewers want to see.
It is more frustrating than what its worth now to watch what was an awesome show. You will be losing many viewers.

History 2 was my favorite channel. I love all of the pieces about ancient history. However, someone decided to give liberals yet another channel. Are you kidding me? The shows on History Channel suck. You really screwed up.

I REALLY liked watching Forged in Fire's (master blacksmiths creating knives & swords, similar to a cooking show with a clock & judges...actually fascinating in my opinion) season finale last night (8/23/16) on the History Channel, my first time. Although, when it came to testing the ability to really cut through something, one of the things they used a mock up horse with bundles of sugar cane as the horse legs to test the sharpness. This may have been a necessary part of war at one time, but now I fear for horses that some 'nut' who would have never considered this idea until now, will try the same on a living creature.
I've never personally owned a horse, but was surrounded by farming. But for some reason I've been added to a mailing list about the plight of abused horses, and the unspeakable, absolute horror beyond understanding of the torture of horses in the horse racing industry and draft horses ("beer horses") (and just horses in general when they are no longer deemed 'useful anymore').
An example, is when they've passed their 'usefullness' and and won't die when starved they are sometimes literally thrown into crushers while still alive. I'll never forget the photograph of an obviously living, beautiful horse, laying on it's side in a cramped bin, in a pool of blood (possibly from the previous horse even), staring up as it's about to be crushed. I couldn't believe it. I'm struggling to type. They're viewed as expendable, as if they don't have feelings. (I pity the abusers for what their lesson in empathy will eventually end up being).
With Forged in Fire, I understand the theatrical effect of pretending to be in battle where horses where fair game in life or death situations, I find it in poor taste in this day and age to give the wrong people any ideas. (Again, I pity the abusers for what their lesson in empathy will eventually end up being).

After 18 minutes we turned it off. Terrible show. We want to watch blacksmiths work, NOT family stuff, not contrived ran out of coal before first show, contrived and no bad words, douche. Done. Won't watch again.

Forged in Fire we watched before this and love it as we have in previous seasons. It is real work. Hosts long hair, ummm. They get less to win now, sad.

H2, Viceland. Do not like it at all. Horrible shows. LOVED H2 the old way. Haven't watched it since it changed and we saw what was there. Sad you screwed up bad.

Okay I watched a majority of the Devils Graveyard Vile Vortices and I'm super angry that the entire thing was fake. I got to the end and they just lie all the way to the end saying that it's real it's based upon science and we can prove it and now these actors are about to get blown up. the reason i could tell that it was fake was because of the timing between the explosion and the argument between the girl and the guy in the construction hat.. you could clearly hear that argument taking place when they got into their SUV were driving away and the "explosion" which was apparently totally fake happened right after that argument took place which wouldn't have given them enough time to drive even a quarter or a mile at top speed even though they weren't traveling top speed. If you're going to make a fake documentary and show it at least make it super realistic to the point that people can't tell. that is like a stupid hollywood mistake where a coke can appears in an actors right hand one moment and then the other hand less than a second later.. if they were there recording at the time of the original argument then they would have been "killed" by this "fake explosion" too. Not to mention it's just wrong to air a totally false fake "Docufiction" with basically not one ounce of fact contained within it making it not even a documentary at all it's more of a scripted reality tv show that is scripted to look like a real documentary and played on "The History Channel" a channel that is supposed to be REAL DOCUMENTARIES.. this is disgusting it might be the last time i watch the history channel..

"History" channel is turning into Fox "news". Fake show like ancient aliens and now this fake DEVILS GRAVEYARD. Teach with your programming or you will get blocked from my TV and I will encourage everyone on social media to do the same. Stick to your channel name. History is real facts not drunken dreams.

At least when H2 was on the air you could actually watch historical programs. But now History Channel is nothing more then a bunch of BS reality TV . The program's you show are basically equal to the Kardashians. The History Channel used to be my very favorite . You guys need to stop allowing the perversions of the Hardee's commercials to be aired on your station. So very close to having cable turned off. It's pretty bad you can't even sit and watch regular cable and you guys support such trash. My God do you guys like for your children to watch stuff that pushes more and more sex on them. Why must you promote such perversions. Life is hard enough on kids along with adults. Please ban the Hardee's commercials. I am going and making a complaint about your station to the FCC if it isn't stopped. So please stop putting it on tv. It is very offensive. Super annoyed to have wasted my time watching The Devil's Graveyard with a family member who had recorded the show thinking it was a real documentary. Not until the end do we find out it is a fake after a disclaimer flashes on the screen for a millisecond, which we would not have been able to read had we not recorded the show and been able to pause it on the disclaimer although the terrible acting was a hint of these lies marauding as a true story. Why not present it truthfully as a dramatization instead of pretending that it really happened. Such deceit! And enough with the aliens already!!

It certainly became apparent last evening that even the History Channel is now bent on leading us down the garden path in order to lure in viewers for the sake of advertisement dollars. After extensive promotions for weeks, implying to viewers that the case has been solved and we would be the first to hear the name of and whatever became of the culprit worthy of 45 years of our attention and wonder, we were left with our mouths wide open at having been duped by rhetoric leading nowhere. We spent 2 prime time evenings listening to interviewers who are in actuality no closer to solving the case and arresting a suspect than they were that Thanksgiving morning 45 years ago when the crime was committed. As a final insult, the channel had us holding our breath through one lengthy series of commercials, implying that newly released information, which the FBI was going to announce at the conclusion of the 4 hours of interviews, would hold the verified name of D.B. Cooper and what became of the stolen cash. Of course, we should have known that this was not to be the case. The “new revelation” of the FBI was that they were giving up, boxing up every bit of evidence they had acquired after unceremoniously photographing each piece as they recorded the contents of each box, and sending it to the Headquarters of the FBI in Washington, D.C. for permanent storage. The FBI was closing the case and in essence surrendering to Cooper, or whatever his name was. It is now recorded in the FBI’s archives as the only airplane hijacking case in U.S. history never to be solved. The excuse given was that it is now operationally impossible to repeat, so there is no use in continuing the investigation. That decision was admittedly made many years ago, so why wait until 45 years to make the announcement?
According to the FBI, their hours had to be directed elsewhere and to more relevant concerns. Why didn’t the History Channel give us that piece of information at the very beginning? Do we have nothing better to do than listen to 4 hours of “why this man led to this man” as the D.B. Cooper suspect so that we didn’t sit like household pets awaiting our long overdue treat, a solid bone to call our own rather than another empty hand. This certainly sets the History Channel down a notch below . It would have been better to have replayed one of their many repeats that they’re already giving us day after day than to leave us with our minds as wide open and begging for real “history” than before.

Wanted to,watch the DB Cooper story as I was around when it happened. Thankfully I only saw part of the final episode.

What the hell is that? Let's check out Alone! Just more mindless "reality"TV! Now every once in a while you do show some programs that are actually historical! Too bad we've seen them a hundred times! I know some people like some of these shows, so make a channel for the idiots and call it the idiot channel! Make the History Channel about history again! Oh! I had to pay for extra programming to get H2 as it was not part of the basic Fios package,now I'm stuck paying 10 dollars fee to get rid of this crap

My husband and myself watched this program each week. Loved Ricks restoration. Can't believe you canceled our favorite. We watch pawn stars, American Pickers, counting cars, Want all of you to reconsider Ricks Restoration. .....
