Poor service by Chetty Inspector @ Labour department Pinetown

It's been four mounts now since I have open the case the service since stage 1 and stage 2 by Anitha was very good then the case moved to inspector Chetty that's where the dalay start.I realy don"t know what to do please help,you are my only hope as a state of south africa .

company is not give laburs day holiday

maternity leave 6 weeks ago

I have applied 6 weeks ago, still nothing has been done, I have no money and no one cares, I have desided that check point will do the investigation from this point on, I hope peoplewe will all get our claims done. I applied at Alberton branch, will send them there, maybe someone will catch a wake up.....

I have a for an Unemployment Insurance Fund but I have been told to wait, and wait and wait. What do I do at this point? I have debts, rent and bills to pay and I'm getting so much pressure. Please help me!

Uif Maternity Benefit - 9months!!!!!!!

I applied for my Maternity benefit from the UIF August 2014. No help is given when you query the process and they have some kind of off-line excuse or tell you to resubmit a form they apparently have not received. I have been going through this process for 9months now and to this day have not received a cent of MY Maternity benefit! It is absolutely disgusting how the UIF operate and that towards loyal citizens that pay THEIR salaries and contribute towards the people that don't have jobs!!!!!! I see no reason what so ever for my or any other person's claim to take so long and WILL now go to CARTE BLANCE to find out what exactly the problem within the UIF offices are!!!! uif dissmisal

I register my uif on 03 march 2015 and they give form to return it on 10 april,I did that and they told me that I have to wait after 7 days my money will be in my account,but nothing happen till now.please tell me what's going on in RUSTENBURG LABOUR.The next payment supposed to be on 07 may 2015.please I not alone we need help because rustenburg is very poor when is coming to payment

uif maternity

I applied for my maternity uif on the 5th of march and I was told to come and sign on the 2nd of April when I arrived they told me they did not capture it but the money is on the way these is the second month and I haven't received a cent am broke I can't even pay for my babies stuff..Am going back to sign on the 30th of April I have a feeling I will get the same story.. why are we paying for Uif if we are struggling to get it.. l we want our money... I really think Advocate Thuli Madonsela must assist us here..

Why Pay UIF

I' ve registered after my retrenchment in December 2015... Every document was fine and up to date.... Then I needed to sign, but all of a sudden they needed another document from the company! Now it has been two months again and it still needs no be approved. Do these people understand that this benefit is for people that already paid them and now need their money????? Incompetent staff cannot assist in ANY enquiries.... just tells you to come back at another time to see the progress. Utterly Disgusting!!!!!

UIF Maternity Benefits

Hey guys.

My fiancé and i are in a really tough spot right now and i was hoping that you could help.

She applied for her unemployment maternity benefits All most 3 months ago and was requested back to there offices a few times, but its still not been "approved" according to the guys at the office in M.plain.

She then got home and called the department and according to them, the details have yet to be captured. Seriously....Theres people are so lazy.

Untill now, she still has not received her money and our baby is nearly 2 months old.

I was hoping for some direction with this?

Maternity Benefit

I have applied for maternity benefits on the 19 January 2015 at the UIF Department in Sandton and I still have not received a single payment!!! I have been calling the UIF office almost every week and whenever I call, I am told that there is a back log of claims from August last year and they are still trying to clear their back log. They have no idea when this will be sorted out and no one can give me an answer to when I will get my payment. They haven't even looked at my application as yet! Every time u call they want ur ID number and cell number yet they do nothing with it cos they don't ever call u back!

This is absolutely frustrating as we pay UIF every month and we are entitled to this money. I don't know why we paying UIF! The service and the don't care attitude of the staff is shocking!

Maternity Benefits

Let me start from the beginning then you will understand why I am so furious. I have applied for maternity benefits in February 2015. I was suppose to sign on the 19th March. I phoned on the 18th to find out that nothing has been done. I was assured by the consultant that it will not take long. I have to return to work on 2nd of May. I had to borrow money from my employer. So I am in financial difficulty. I phone the office today 16 April to find out that NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE YET!!! I explained to the consultant that I have raised a complaint to the head office but it seems not to bother him. So what now? Can someone please solve this mess?

NO LUCK YET

I have phoned the UIF office again to find out if my application was processed, still nothing has been done. This is really pathetic!!!! I explained to the guy that I have raised a complaint to the head office but it seems not to bother him. So what now? I want my UIF no matter what.

Maternity Leave benefits

i applied for my maternity leave benefits in February and i was told the process will take 6-8 weeks. today when i called the office i was told that they are still busy processing the December and January claims, what is the point of paying UIF from our salaries if when we need the money it is never available?
This UIF nonsense must just be optional because we are forced to pay it yet it is not helping us. Department of Labour must just pay back everybody the money they paid for their UIF and those who wants to continue with joke of a fund must just continue with it.
this is totally unacceptable.

I applied online for maternity benefits in November 2014 to this day i haven't received one payment

Why do we pay UIF? Only to beg for it back, it is truly disgusting that it takes UIF so long to process my claim.

I have been calling the UIF every week since and up till now I have not received a single cent, First it was not captured and then its was the UI19, then my banking details was incorrect... EVERY WEEK ITS A NEW PROBLEM.

Please get people that know what there are doing, or give them the proper training PLEASE!

MARCH UIF NOT RECEIVED, TIME FOR APRIL APPLICATIONS ALREADY

Hi

It is now almost time for me to apply for my April UIF benefit but my March has not been paid as yet?
It has actually not even been captured?
Perhaps you can employ some unemployed staff who KNOWS HOW TO DO ADMIN ON TIME AND CORRECTLY?
How can you penalize the public for your year end system shut down - how would you guys feel if your company doesn't pay you your SALARY DUE TO YEAR END?
Very concerned!
I have been contributing towards UIF since the age of 19 now that I am 37 and I am claiming for the first time I find out we can only claim for the last 4 years - and that you can't even supply to us on time however WE HAVE PAID ON TIME EVERY MONTH?
I think we should all stand together guys and claim back all the UIF contributed - LEGALLY IT IS OURS!!!!!!!!!!!!

UIF PAYMENT FOR MARCH 2015 NOT RECEICED

I registered for UIF online. Everything went smooth until now. I received my first payment on 13 February 2015. Submitted all my documents for my next payment in March but to date no payment has been received. My profile shows "sent to pay master" on 17 March 2015. When I called the call centre I was told I will be paid after 1 April 2015 as it's year end and no payments are being made till then.
Very frustrating that we cannot get passed the call centre to speak to a supervisor. I'm seriously beginning to think they have no funds to make payments!!!!!

maternity payment

I submitted all my documents on the 12 Feb was told to come back 12 march 2015 to see if claim was approved they advised it was not the manager PETER said it would be approved by 24 march.I went there they said it was not approved yet they could not tell me why,they gave me another date for 8 April.I'm suppose to go back to work on the 25 may and I still did not receive a sent.I cant afford to pay my accounts and even provide for my babies needs...Please if sumone is checking this contact me on 0823975125...PLEASE

UIF APPLICATION

I have registered at the Vanderbijlpark Labour Offices for UIF claim (after standing in a queue for 3hours) on the 25th February 2015,submitted all the necesssary documentation and was told to come back today, the 23rd March. After standing in a queue for 2 hours I was told to come back on the 24th April 2015 as my application was not approved yet. Nobody explained anything to me as to when I can expect it to be approved or when I can expect to receive my first payment, how much and for how long or how the system works.Who has to approve your application and what is the average time you can expect before you get your first payment? You are simply handed your card with the new date and told to go with no explanation!

I phoned the offices last week to enquire whether my application has been approved and was told that I have to come to the Labour offices and wait in the queue. I find it incredible that you have to stand in a queue for hours to get the information that could be given on the telephone. What a utter waste of time.

The person standing next to me today told me that he has been coming there since August 2014 once a month to sign the register and has still not received any payment.

Could somebody please advise as to exactly how the system works and why there is such a delay. I am unemployed NOW and need the money NOW. I have been contributing for years and now that I want to claim I am left with no explanation or indication as to when I can expect to be paid. Surely it is not fair that people have to wait for months and be treated in the manner that we are treated at the Vanderbijlpark Labour offices. All the people in front of me were sent back with their cards and a date to return for a month later! Are they trying to fob us off as there is no money to pay us or are they just simply imcompetent?

I'll be surprised if anybody responds to this as I see many, many similar complaints above and on Facebook, which I find disgusting and shocking, but just incase somebody cares my email address is

Still no luck with Maternity Leave Benefit

I claim for my Maternity leave some time in Jan and all required documents were submitted on the 03-02-2015. I was advised that I will receive payment within 6 weeks, till today no funds has be paid. I did go to the Rand-burg Branch to check on the progress only to find out that my claim was not even processed. I asked if was anything outstand from my side the answer was nope. So I think someone is not doing what they are hired to do. I mean I am entitled to this money, it is mine as ever since I have started working in 2005 and UIF was deducted from my pay all these years and has never claimed for a cent, I know its my money and I shouldn't even be bagging for it. IF SOMEONE WAS DOING WHAT THE ARE PAID AND HIRED TO DO, WE WOULDN'T BE WAISTING OUR TIME TO SENT THESE COMPLAINS TO THE BOARD. I hope this shows a reflection of how we are being mistreated by our government. hoping this is just not a waste of time, someone actually is doing their job by going through these complains and making sure that there are attended to. still awaiting maternity benefit for 4months now

Hi, am concerned about my application for maternity benefit that I submitted the 2nd Dec 2014. I submitted all the documents needed then in January 2015 when I went to check how far is the application they I got the answer that they are not captured...then they took them again and scanned them. I was given a number to call after 14days to see how far they were. I got the same answer after the 14th day that my documents were not captured. Then in Feb I went again to the offices they said ui19 was not captured they scanned it and said I must come back to check after a week. I went and still it was not captured.
Its really frustrating expecting to get a penny to help out while you are not at work but then you get this kind of service where there is not even a person who can help you out. [email protected]

still didnt recieve Maternity benefits

I applied for my Maternity Benefits on the 23 January 2015, i gave in all the documents they required of me. I was tolled to come back or call on the 23 February 2015 to follow up, which i did and was tolled my things was not captured yet i should phone back after 2 weeks which i also did and was tolled again that the things is not captured yet what that may mean. so i called after two weeks again and was told to come in to offices that they can phone my employers. Then when i went today they told me for the first time that the employers should give the ui19 form them self in at the office. why wasn't i told this earlier so that it could have been sorted out. Now i have to wait another month to follow up if i didn't receive anything. I am really very unhappy about this. this is something we pay for every month. 072 566 5460

NO LUCK TO CLAIM RETRENCHMENT BENEFIT

I Have been trying to claim my retrenchment benefit for two months already with an ridiculous type of excuse as to why my application was not yet processed, I am left completely in the dark and hopeless, I had to dealt with my worst fear ever by being retrenched because I am the main bread winner in our family and it did happen at the end of December 2014 and still struggling to get paid for a service which is there should this happen to a person and worst is we pay every month for this service so in my eyes I am trying to get back my own money I have paid for you to make sure I have something to fall back on if I am in this satiation, I honestly do not know whom to turn to for this nightmare to end!!!!!

I applied for maternity benefits in November 2014 to this day i haven't received a single payment. i was told i would get 1st payment after 6 weeks. After 8 weeks a called UIF for an update and they told me that my application is still awaiting approval as most of the staff was on leave in December. they promised me payment in a week or two, but to this day nothing. i've been calling Sandton department of labour every two weeks and all i get is oh your application is still pending approval. i was put through to the superviser who also does not soun like he knows what he's doing for the 3rd time today he asks for my ID number and contact numbers and says he'll call me back with an update but doesn't. After reminding him that he said the same thing when i spoke to him the past two times he said oh the approving team needs my u.19 & I told him i submitted everything in November he asked for my ID number again and I think this time i checked on the system and advised he'll contact me back, which i dont believe he'll do
I am really unhappy about the service i'm getting and think this issue needs to be correct immedietely

poor service received

My name is Merriam, i've got no words to explain my feelings about this department, for the 4th time i'm being taken from pillar to post. I took the UI19 which every time I am told is not captured, stand again in longest queues in the country, more than the voting queues., only to be told same thing again. This is the most terrific experience I ever had. You even have nightmares thinking of going back to that office. Is it such a curse to be unemployed and claim for the service you have been paying for? Is this what batho-pele stands for?
