This complaint about Sears Home Service is valid and still on-going; it's much too long and exasperating to detail here. I just want everyone out there to know that these folks have such abysmal customer service. There were way too many people handling this complaint. Not counting the 3 different people I spoke with during the problem with scheduling the return visit, there were at least 12 personnel from various departments, 6 of them from Customer Solutions alone! I have had to re-state my complaint too many times...

Advised Sears I had another company come out and look at the appliance and what the issue was. It needed a timer. Made the appointment service guy came out as scheduled ; but no part...

scheduled 8AM - 12pm sears appointment.
Due to a No Show / No Call, I contacted sears at 10:30 AM and again at 1:15 PM, only to be assured by a customer service rep, that the technician will arrive, not to worry and he will call me when he is on the way to my house.
At 2:42PM, still a No Show / No Call from the technician, I was forced to leave my house (to retrieve my kids from school)...

sears is a joke . Sears sold my parents a samsung frig side by side with in the first day we got it home it would not give water. Called sears and demanded them to replace it which fineally they did. One year later samsung frig quits working and we call sears protection plan and sent a tecnician...

I have shopped at Sears for decades and always bought with the confidence that they would stand by their products. When I returned the item I was told that the 1year was up, and unceremoniously shown the door. It goes without saying that I am livid. all feel sorry for SEARS when they crash and burn in their own ignorance. This is not their only failed product. I didn't mind spending the above average price at Sear because they USED to stand behind anything they sold. Perhaps they will get a bailout too. I mean hey, it doesnt have to really work you just have to buy it...

On July 15, 2011, I called Sears and they confirmed my appointment from 8 am to 5 pm on July 16, 2011. On July 16, 2011, Sears called me to reschedule to July 21 because they have no technician.
I asked (and begged)for an earlier appointment, because of the extreme inconvenience of having limited or no water...

I have a sears service agreement for most of my appliances, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer. I pay 400. 00 a year for the worst service ever. My refrigerator was not working, getting hot, I called sears and they advise me it would be a week before they could make an appointment...

complaining about Sears. We have been loyal customers since April of 1982; service contracts on some things. OUR STORY. in 1993 we purchased a washing machine. About 5 years into it we needed service for a clogged hose. No problem. They came right out. THEN about 3 years after that, they came in & replaced the 'trans'...

a refrigerator from Sears and have had nothing but trouble with it. It is a Maytag and it is a piece of crap. The salesman was awful. He was so busy trying to push a "service plan" on us for HALF THE COST OF THE ITEM it was difficult to get our questions answered. Because the item was a “manager's special” we were treated like we should not care that it does not work properly...

I have been a faithful Sears customer since 1963. I have always owned Sears Appliances. Washer, Dryers, Refrigerators, Microwaves, Frteezers, Water Softeners etc. Never has any of them rusted.
My Sears Elite washer lid is rusting. I bought it September 16 2011 and just noticed the rusting next to my clorine dispenser...

Pro Refrigerator from Sears in Cadillac Michigan in December 2016. On June 23, 2018, the condenser went out. The parts were under warranty but the labor was not. The labor is $300. We could get the parts in 2 days through someone else but would have to pay for them and they cost about $300...

Bought Sears Kenmore Elite refrigerator in November 2015. Failed after 6 days. Sears did provide replacement after we lost all food and lived out of ice chests for a week. The replacement worked for 34 months and on September 27, 2018, failed again. As of today November 9, 2018, we have had five service calls...

Parts of this complaint doesn't make a great deal of sense to me either. Is the refrigerator under warranty? If so, where did you make the purchase? Is this Warrantech or Marta a third party warranty company?
