Holding kid's fund's

I've been dealing with ReliaCard for my kid's support for over 2 years against my better judgement. I would normally connect all extra income to my bank account, however I decided to use this bank for my kid's. Their back support hit their card right before the holidays, which is great for them. Not the case! I tried to add their funds to Cash app to disperse evenly amongst them as I always do. The card declined. I reached out to customer service, they told me the reason was because people have been fraudulent through cash app. I than spoke with a supervisor who told me the problem was cleared up, my card was unlocked wait for 20 minutes & use the card. But, to do 3 or 4 smaller transactions. I said okay. I waited 2 hours or more to try & use the card again. Card was not unlocked. In fact the card is saying no active. I than called back to see what was the problem. I spoke with another customer service representative who told me my card wasn't showing locked at all, in fact the card was fine to use. I said okay. So, I decided to wait until today, just to make sure everything was fine. I tried to use the card again. Declined! I'm totally disgusted by this bank's behavior and the people that are working for them. No INTEGRITY! I decided to call back this morning to get an understanding as to why this is happening. I spoke with another customer service representative and asked to be transferred to a supervisor who's name is Marissa. Marissa, gets on the phone ask me what's the problem. I explained to her the entirety of the situation & she's unbothered. Can y'all believe that! Unbothered by an issue that is happening with someone's money that is needed for their kid's and other important necessities. Not only that, Marissa leaves me on hold for about 5 minutes comes back and say, sorry for the hold I'm trying to see why this transaction was declined. Than she continues to say allow me a few more minutes to check on it for you. But, guess what Marissa did next. She hung up the phone in my face. Yes, ended the call. I than get the survey which is after the call. I answered truthfully and with great integrity. Can you imagine being treated in such a disgusting manner about your kid's finances. It's the holidays & US Bank ReliaCard thinks this type of behavior is okay. I will not let this type of behavior go unseen or unheard. Emotional stress to kids is unacceptable.

Refusing to Release Funds

This card was sent to me for child support. Reliacard then put my card on restriction for documentation with out any notice at all online or in the mail. I go to use my card to get food and it’s been restricted. I call the company they said I need documentation and so I upload my information. Customer service said two days. Card still doesn’t work after four days. Call customer service again four days later and they say oh it’s gonna be five days. It took me three years to get my child support. This is a horrible bank. That does not have any empathy for its customers. Doesn’t even try to resolve the problem for its customers when I have talk to a supervisor. I’m gonna report this company to the BBB also.

Refusing to Release Funds

I have had my Reliacard for years with my old married name and called Customer Service, gave them my current name, and verified my identity. Now they have put my card on a fraudulent hold. I have called customer service over 11 times and uploaded my current id, my divorce papers, and my social security card. They are still refusing to release my funds. No one has called or emailed me to speak with me, nor is there a way to talk to the actual people who are making these fraudulent decisions. This is ridiculous and frustrating.

Money won't be released by us bank relicard

I am a victim of US Bank relicard Pennsylvania unemployment. I was granted my back pay a few weeks ago from Pennsylvania unemployment, the funds was deposited into us bank on the relicard.

I have waited 38 weeks to receive my benefits from unemployment and now I'm having to wait again because the bank is refusing to release my funds because they are saying I need to verify my identity.

I have presented my state ID to this bank on three different occasions and three selfie photos of myself and they still refuse to release my money .The first two times they used the identity as a cover up and now it's fraud.

I called today with my attorney on another phone and she wanted to speak with the supervisor who would only give his first name Evan, but would not give his last name .I have been reading complaint after complaint concerning this bank but nothing is happening to resolve the issues with this institution .


Why are so many people seeking help concerning the issues with US Bank and no one cares that people are being ripped off by an institution they are entrusting to do what is right by their clients .
I know the banks are obligated to protect their clients if they believe some form of illegal activity is happening but to refuse and continue to refuse clients to have access to their own money that's ridiculous.

I'm not able to pay my bills ,my car is under repossession and I'm trying to pay those fees to get my car .My insurance and other bills are due and I'm not able to cover my bills because us bank won't release my funds .I'm out of work due to health issues
and complete knee replacement.

I think everyone that is dealing with this bank will appreciate any help that the media my provide concerning the issues addressed in this letter and many others that have filed complaints against this bank.

Dispute

I've been trying to get my money back on a dispute that I filed over four months ago. Every week someone tells me they put an escalate on it and sent message to call back next week. Done this 5 times then when someone is finally helping I somehow get disconnected.

Customer Service

US Bank apparently took over the contract for Nevada Child Support and Welfare. The most horrible customer service on the PLANET. A parent needing just to change address took 2 weeks and 7 hours 32 mins on the phone. During the pandemic you would think that call centers would take care of the clients better. US Bank you are horrible. I never had these issues with Bank of America. They don't care that you're a single mother trying to get your child support during a time like this. The agent told me that once I updated my address I had to wait 5 business days to have a new card issued. I called back in more than 5 days to make sure, and the next agent told me that my physical address was updated but my mailing address had to be updated. ARE YOU SERIOUS???? It doesn't take a brain to put two and two together that you need to let the customer know your protocol on updating addresses. I then got told that I had to wait another 5 days for the address to update and to call back. HORRIBLE customer service. These people get paid 20+ dollars to sit and answer calls all day. No labor nothing. I bust my butt at my job in the medical field.

How to get a human on the phone at US Reliacard

When you call the number, and the automated system asks for your birthday, put in the WRONG birth month and correct date and year. Keep doing it. You will eventually get to a point where you need to verify your address. Choose whichever option allows you to say "no this address is incorrect". I think it will just ask if you need to update your address, or it will say your address and asks if it is correct: choose no its not correct. After that, you will be transferred to a human.

ReliaCard horrible

3 months and still haven’t been able to unlock my card! I send verification over and over and get the same bs responses “call the state “ or “ fraud” I call the state and they are clueless to why ReliaCard has my account locked I’m losing my mind please anybody with answers please help

People if you've used your card add up all you've taken out or spent. I was suppose to get a refund from something I purchased and never did even though the company said they refunded this amount. I called us reliacard they said they received the refund but when I added everything on my statement there was that money still missing. For shivs& giggles I added up previous weeks and on average was missing about $23 a week. unaccounted for $23 just poof.... gone. Reliacard says they don't know what I'm talking about. I've even someone I trust add up my transactions.... there's money going missing. And its not being recorded on your statement... check it out

they lied to me

my card was stolen and used , and someone spent almost three hundred bucks and they refused to give my money back saying it was my fault and so they basically gave them selves three hundred bucks and i got screwed and they made me wait four months

Refusal of money from fraudulent charges

I had lost my card, and it was used for a purchase, the only way I knew was from the alert, by that time it was too late, reported it got a new card, and had to wait many months, then they return to me and say the case is closed because it's my fault, and now I'm out almost three hundred dollars, and you can't get anyone on the phone that knows a thing, this is the worst bank, the worst card ever, in all my years I have never heard anything good about us bank and now I know first hand that's true. I will most certainly never use their services ever again...

cant use my money

worse bank ever,i wasn't able to use my account for almost 2 months because they keep telling me about BS fraud,so i tell them close this card ,they said i have to wait 90 days for them to close this card and i have to contact to my unemployment.who can contact unemployment now / lol .they phone is not working.However if some kind fraud was there so how then unemployment never stop deposit money ,hhm ,interesting.Every rep has new story ,all stories is different. this bank using your money and flipping over to make more profit and you are not able going to use any of your money.this bank is a fraud them self.

Not giving me my money back

It's been almost 6 months since I reported fraud someone got my information and was sending there self money. I've filled out 2 dispution forms and I've given them police report and they still have not given me money back of 3700$. everytime I call someone will lie and say there putting a ticket in and tell me to call back and when I call back they feed me some more bullshit and say the same stuff again just a different person. It is apsalutely ridiculous how these people work i wouldn't b saprised if some kind of massacre happened. Very bad for business and there not fair when it comes to doing what's right dealing with people who really need there money.

Stupid People Stupid Bank

Nothing as bad as these folks but I do understand there frustration. U.S. Bank is the worst bank in the U.S. and the world and potentially the whole universe. How the U.S. Govt can possibly use this Bank as a Conduit for Unemployment is beyond reason. It is ran by stupid people being controlled by stupid people. If I were not a money genius then I would be at the bank throwing rocks though U.S. Bank's windows and going to jail. That is just how bad this bank is. If you anyone has an account at this bank go quickly and withdraw you money and put it in a real bank.

6 months

I am writing this for my friend who lives over 100 miles away from me. She is 8 months pregnant and unemployed. She has had a locked reliacard for her texas unemployment benefits since November 2019. When she noticed a typo for her mailing zipcode on her mail, she brought it to reliacards attention in November. Instead of reliacard correcting their typo they froze her account and all funds and told her she had to reverify her identity by means of a valid govt. Issued ID. So she faxed them the appropriate documentation. She has a flip phone through a government program and therefore has no internet or smart phone features available. She waits to hear back from them but that never happens. She then goes in loops trying to reach staff to give her an update...she is told over a month later and several dozen calls later that Reliacard has undergone some procedure changes and they no longer would accept her fax. That it would have to be online which is out of the question, or mail it in. So she mails in documentation and yet she still has not gotten her funds. What kind of kangaroo court is this? Give these struggling people their money. I am going to tell evdrhone3 who will listen about this. 6 months she cant get any relief. Reliacard is crooked and sad

Reliacard Nightmare

This card is a nightmare. It should be illegal for these people to determine how you spend your money. I don't care if it is a state issued card. My card alerted the fraud department twice in one day, each time my card was put on hold until I called and waited on the phone for one hour each time. Then, every time I went to make a purchase the card wouldn't go through. I called them 10 plus times to no avail. I spoke to the supervisor, and she stated I will place an exemption on your card and if that don't work I will have to send you another card. I told her I just got the card on 4-2, it's 4-4. Every time I called they did what they call a "refresh" and I had to wait an hour after each time, and was still unable to use the card. They have a limit of 2500 per day, and you cant exceed 20 transactions. If you do, you have to wait 24 hours "rolling period" to use the card again. Each transaction shows as pending for 10 days. Meanwhile, the transactions you made previously that shows a pending status, when that transaction shows complete, your "rolling period" starts over. And you cant use your card until after an additional 24 hours is up. So each day that goes by, you are repeating the cycle. And these people do not care. You can only withdraw 1000 per day. They leave no room for you to pay bills etc.... This is truly unacceptable.

locked account

make someone higher up aware of the major issue I am having with my relia card account with us bank. This has been going on for months now. I have called numerous times and spoke with numerous representatives. who stated go on usbank/identify unload front in back of my i.d and take a selfie and the problem will be fixed... I have done this 5 times since november and recently done it again on the 17th of march , and still my accounted is locked, This is so horrible and unfair that people have to go through this during these trying time, i am aware that its for consumers protection but my funds come from unemployment who has they own verification process. US banks should be held accountable for the lack of product in services to people. Please fix this issue as soon as possible

never got a card

i never got a card they said my address did not match what was on pua that was because im going through a divorce an have a stay away order so even though i own my house in both our names i was staying with a friend and wanted it to come to the house i was staying they said thts why i didnt get the card so i changed it and still no card this has been since october they said i need to verify me id and the website has been down for months just says they will be up and running in 30 minute and that never happens need help have 4 kids all home bills over 6 months behind and over 8,000 dollar behind on house ready to lose everything help pleses

Reliacard blocking account

I have been calling them for over a month to fix the fact that they locked my card. I have sent them all the paperwork they need THREE times and they keep telling me that I have to contact my state agency. I have done this even though the people at the PUA office keep telling me that this is not an issue that has to do with them. They sound like robots on the phone repeating the same recycled replies because they don't give a shit.

Relia card is bank

It's been 6 momths and I sent them my I'd my SS card my light bill and my lease where I live ..they told me it was to dark the first time so I sent it again the told me it was to dark to send it again that it would take three days to unlock my account it's been 6 days and still no money .my card is still locked so I tryed to unlock it on line they said I have the wrong information .I know my SS number my I'd. And my relia card # and code that's on my card again it's said it was the wrong information to call the number on the back of my card ..you no it the number on the back of my card that's stealing people's identity ..I sent my paperwork in and nothing they won't give me a supervisor they say they don't have one ..I called us bank and they said they don't have nothing to do with it but it's there bank it's there name usbank . somebody has to do something about this .it's not right what there doing somebody is stealing my identity and nobody is doing a thing to help...
