maternity unpaid benefit
I dnt think this people have any idea how its like having a baby with no income while u going up n down to the labour department being given false hope . I've applied in september till today I dnt even have a simple case number m being told they still have to go and check the company that I work 4 , what kind of bullshit is that ! When I try calling the head office in pta the phone just rings no answer. Can some1 please help with @least a number that I should call to find out about my application

I submitted my complain a while back right here on your webside but not even a phone call or E-mail, do you actually do help people or you just wasting our time complaining and you do nothing at all. This is ridiculous!!! Help people and stop taking our hopes up only for us to keep writing to you with no response or even a call.

UIF Maternity Claim not paid out
Good day,
I honestly do not know what else to do now in order to receive my payment. Since lodging my maternity application I only received payment once and I have further provided the department with all the necessary documents to facilitate payment of the remainder of my payout money. On 29/10/2015 I received an sms stating that request for payment has been received and that finalization of payment is 7-10 days. But today I get a further sms stating that a medical certificate and my payment form (which I have submitted to the department together with the birth certificate of my child and a copy of my ID) are outstanding. This does not make sense to me because I have submitted everything to the department. This is really frustrating because I cannot be taking time off work all the time to come to the department to query payment that should have been made while I was still on leave. Please can you make payment of all my outstanding money because the service I have been receiving from the department is pathetically revolting. The call center number that is provided for queries just rings and nobody ever picks up. Can somebody please provide me with a number that works for me to call and an email address for me to escalate this issue. People need to be held accountable for their lack of interest in doing their jobs. I dealt with one Dirk Kotze and he just doesn't even answer his phone nor respond to his emails.

UIF claim rejected
My last day of work was the 31 May 2015. I was retrenched.
I was going to start my new job beginning July.
My new " boss to be " had a change of heart regarding the salary. So I decided not to take that position.
Now I was looking for work again. And I went to the labour department to claim uif. As I needed to be able to survive.
5 months and every time there's something else that they need. Had to open a new bank account as there was no activity in my account and FNB closed it.
Eventually last month all required documentation. I received a sms today stating my claim was rejected.
Once again back at labour department in a long queue.
Why the hell must we pay UIF if our claim is rejected or is it that government wants us to pay for all the people breeding and claiming so they can have more votes?

The service here is useless. The consultants are busy moving around not helping clients. Theres a lesbian consultant shes the worst she pulls her phone out to chart looks at us in the sits and continue chartting as if shes doing nothing wrong. We came here at 8am and still we sitting not being helped. I think its time the seniors visits the offices to inspect. I will gladly be happy to receive feedback on this email. [email protected]

It's been months now since I've submitted my docs for u.i.f claim, after being given the run around for a while, I was told my application had been rejected, then told it was was error, 3 months later I've not received any feedback or payout. What kind of circus is being run here? Absolutely disgusting. Everyone in this department should be fired. Pathetic!!!!

UNPAID MATERNITY CLAIM
HI .
I went to the Mafikeng labour centre on the 25/05/2015 with all the required documents for my maternity claim, included was my baby's birth certificate. As I walked out of the centre i received an sms stating my claim will be settled in 35 days. A week later i received a message stating my medical certificate was not submitted,I then went there but the official there found the medical certificate inside my file but was not scanned into the system and he scanned it(I believe). I have been going to and fro to the centre trying to find out what is the matter but the official the kept on telling me that the new system is giving them a problem.How long do I have to wait because it has now been 5 month since I claim but still nothing is coming through.
Please help because I need the money and it has been too long.

salary not paid
MEDSCHEME AFROCENTRIC HEALTH, failed to pay my salary for October 2015 and overtime for September 2015 out.
Currently I'm not in the country and all attempts to recover my salary was to no avail. I do not have any funds with me and cant afford to buy food or rent. The salary was due 23 October, when I received no payment I followed up and the manager ensured me it will be paid in on last working day.
Today is the 4th November, and still no salary was received.

I have submitted my claim at the Department of Labour in Marlboro on the 4th of August 2015
On the same date I have received an SMS confirming that the claim has been registered under case number 10002488205.
I have visited the same office in September 2015 and October 2015 and were on both dates informed that my claim is still pending.
I cannot understand how this is possible as my contributions have been paid each month.
Please assist urgently as this is ruining me financially.

Registered my claim in September 2015, received a sms on 1/1/2015 saying claim is received and will be processed and will be contacted in 35 days. Received another sms on 22/10/2015 claim approved i must come sign. Received another sms same day saying payment will be done in 7-10 days - it is 2/11/2015 - still no payment. I sent numerous of emails tried to call the offices but no answer. Case number - 10003013989 - Please contact 076 838 2523 and HELP!!! I have debt to pay and arrangements to make. I pay my UIF every month why should i call and wait for my money????

Going through all this complains now I see that I’m fighting the losing battle. UIF is the government biggest scam. You call, you email no one will answer. My question is why we are paying for uif if we can get it when we claim for it especially for Maternity. I’ve been on Labour Centre, Calling, emailing, for the past 5months, but none of them has helped me. When you go to Labour department the system is offline after waiting from 5 in the morning on the queue. For online its worse its been saying waiting for medical certificate (and yes I have faxed it long time ago and email for every hour everyday), which I’m not going to stop emailing until someone answer my emails or get help, or even block my emails. Now it’s going to be every 15 minutes of email, then it will be every 5 minutes. I think it’s time for someone to take government to court over uif maternity benefits. It’s a scam for trying to discouraging people for claim UIF, they making it so difficult for us so we can eventually give up. Then someone can pocket the money.

I applied for UIF on the 19th of October 2015 and was never contacted so I contacted them. I was approved and went in to sign, but never received any money, I contacted them again and they said I should come in again. The system said my bank account did not accept the money which is not true, the account is 20 years old! I resubmitted the bank document with my banking details but have not received any money yet. I have been unemployed now for a few months and getting desperate. Where do you go to complain? Next week I will go in again and they will tell me my bank account is defective again?

i have applied for uif maternity bemefits at dept of labour Mamelodi since september 2015,i received a confirmation sms stating that my application was received and will hear from them within 35days,on the 2nd of october i went there then tjey told me my employment history was not yet updated and that i should come back to follow up.i called them severally the person who assisted me is Jack.he said he re-scanned my documents then on the 19th i received a messages stating that i will get paid in 7-10 days.but on monday the 26th of october i received another message stating that payment request form is outstanding,when i contacted them the lady said my claim is not yet approved and she doesnt understand why i received the message about the payment request form.i tried calling uif call center in pretoria and was on hold for 38minutes.can someone plz assist me with this case no:10002993564 my contact is 0765702582

Maternity Claim Unpaid
I submitted my claim in September my baby is already 2 months and when I go to Roodepoort office I'm told that my claim is not processed due to the scanners not working. Even with numerous tries to rescan it, the system does not update it. I cannot go and wait in the que at 5 in the morning due to having a sickly baby. Can someone assist with this.

I have applied for maternity UIF in august 2015.
Several emails to top management was sent regarding payment some emails have been relied to but for the rest nothing. They supply you with phone numbers that does not even work or they sent you an email stating they did phone but customer does not answer that is bullshit because every time my phone ring i do answer each and every call.
I am so much in debt now due to the fact that i must borrow money because the UIF office is not capable to do their job but they do not wait for their money to be deducted from our salaries.
Could someone NOW assist me regarding my claim.

I was injured whilst on duty, I lost two of my teeth and the third one broke at a later stage due to the accident. It was in February 2013 and I still haven't been compensated for my injuries. I don't understand why because I'm still without my teeth though I got injured at work.

Rude call center agent
I called the department of labour number 012 3371680 on behalf of my company to update our employees. After holding for almost 20 minutes I was assisted by a lady who identified herself as Nombulelo. I spoke to her at 9:30am. I needed to know how many employees were now active for UIF and she was very rude to me and told me I was do the right thing. I told her I dont know what the right thing is anymore because I have been sending forms to update and terminate employees but according to her Iast updated a long time ago. I went to the roodepoort offices to go sign for payment on the 05/10/2015, The next day I received an sms stating that "request for payment has been received and it will take 7-10 days to finalize. A week later I received yet another sms stating that my request for payment form is outstanding?! I then decided to escalate the matter to the Manager of the branch and he advised that he was still on leave and will give me feedback when he gets back from leave this was on 13/10/2015 I even have a recording of the call. To date I have not heard a word from the the manager, and this is not the first incident the same thing happened the month before but it was sorted. Please can someone help out, just to get feedback as to what the hold up is, i can barely get a loaf of bread for my son let alone get a bar of soap to bath. If its not the long queues, its incompetent staff.
