This is my second time complaining and nothing has been done iv filed my application on november 21 2015 for maternity till today i havent recieved my money..what is sad is that i have outstanding debts while i was told that my money would b payed out..when going to labour department i keep bringing the same documents..what does one have to do to get help?Becouse even if i call your call center one has to hold for more than 3 hours...my numbers are 0788826612 name suprice chauke id no 9303300200085

My name is suzan swana,i was working for oakhill cellars in randburg bottle stores.he did nt want to sign my paper for uif.it too long with the people how works at uif randburg to make him sign.when it was time to get paid they say the department of labour decline my pay out.but I do not understand this,it very unfair for 9 years of hard work I get nothing form uif.

i applied for my uif september 2015- after my contract ended after 11/2 years. i got sms saying all doc recieved and i must wait 30 days then apply for continuation of payments...i did that then got rejected- i did the appeal online it's now february 2016...still no word no sms nothing.....case number 10003221653

I am Bulelwa Combo its the 2nd year i have been going to labour offices for my money but i have not recieved anything. They said they cant see my information on thier system where's i have worked at ksd municipality for 20 years and i have retired now and at work they there is nothing they can do its up to labour. I have been submitted my documents on the 11 November 2015 then they told me that I should wait fofor 6 to 8 weeks and know my baby is turning 10 weeks without any payment I have dept to pay and know I am on arrears please reply to my message because I need money as asap. I have been to the above offices 3 times now and still never made it to the front of the que. 1st time i sat for 3 hours in the que. At 13h30 only one staff member was left to deal with the remaining 17 persons. By 16h00 the lady had only attended 4 person. She stood up took her bag and without saying a word left the building. I ask a gentleman at the back what i now need to do. He gave me two forms to fill in one for the bank and the other to fill in at home and return it to the office the next day. The next day i returned sat 3 hours then had to leave to fetch my daughter at school. The 3rd time i returned i was told to sit outside. After 5hours waiting I insisted on moving to the inside que only to find 7 persons who arrived 3 hours after me were now in front of me.???? Then there computors went off line. After sitting waiting another hour with nothing happening i had to once again leave to attend another appointment. Surley this type of service is not acceptable. When and how long will it take for me to get registered for unemployment under these conditions.
Kindly treat the above as urgent or i shall be force to take the above matter to the media to investigate. The staff walk in and out the whole day with shopping bags and the public are forced to keep returning day after day without being attended to.Clearly the supervisor of this department is not doing what he is getting paid for.

I submited all documents on the 30th of october since then did not get a cent have done numerous follow up all they keep on saying. I just read an article that is posted by department of labour saying that uif is a Social Welfare and Benefits in
the workplace Unemployment Insurance Fund The government has established the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) with the aim of providing short-term relief to employees when they become unemployed, or are unable to work because of illness, maternity or adoption leave and also to provide relief to the dependants of a contributor who has died. If an employee becomes unemployed, the UIF will pay the employee for a maximum period of 6 months while that employee is unemployed. Employees, companies and the state contribute to this fund.

what short term relief are they talking about because u don't get help from this people they only give u stress because u don't get your money in time of need. please assist its been four months now no single payment I need the money I am stressed.

I cannot take this any more. This has been 4 months no single money paid to me from the UIF Department.
I went so far to submit online, I went so far to complain on Hello Peter. I fax through document I went to Department
if labour I have phone so many times. Each time after waiting for half a hour they tell me they are busy. The people are so rude.
I'm behind with my dept I cannot even go and make a loan because there is no money in my account to prove that I'm working.

Hi my name is Queen I claim for my maternity leave in 13 Nov 2014.I went there after 6weeks they said I'm call to check if it is approved.after sometime they told m that my boss is paying my hit through SARS,I asked them what must I do to get my money ther e was no answer.until today and my documents were fine so I don't understand what is going on cause I'm entitled to my money.springs branch.

I applied for maternity benefit on the 12thof October, even today I haven't received any penny,I use my airtime to call them every week to check and they tell me my application need to be declared, who s responsible for this declaration?. Very bad service I received in this center.

How long should you wait to get paid out your Marturnity UIF (Application submitted 16 November 2015 - no payment to date 19 January 2016)

It's now going for 2 & half months. Everytime I go & follow up I get told that they rely on other branches to capture application so I just need to come back & follow up.
Can someone give me an answer, Everytime you go you need to stand or sit in a queue for 3 to four hours. I need to provide for my baby aswell as pay bills & buy groceries.

Still waiting for my UIF payment, I do not receive a salary that is why I claimed my UIF. Is that not the reason why we pay UIF every month. I do not receive a salary for 4 months up to date I received R182.00 and nothing else. How must we survive if this is the service we receive? They are quick to take your money but when it gets to payout the money you must wait for months. Pathetic.

Hi.
I worked on a company for a period of 31 months(2yrs and 7months) then I was retrenched. What came into my surprise is I was contributing about R133 a month which is thee times more from my previous contributions from my previous company.

So want to know how is this thing being calculated because it managed to pay me R634.00, of which four years ago I worked for a company as general worker and contributed R34 to UIF but on my claims it managed to pay me R2300 on my first payment.

I claimed last year July even today i am still waiting. i never expected such poor service from the government institution. the employees get paid for doing nothing at all and when people resort to violence it comes as a surprise, it seems that is the only way a message is able to go through. it is the money that i have worked hard that is debited monthly from my salary but to get it is a hustle. the worst part the minister is not even reachable. can someone do something about this it is ridiculous.
