unpaid maternity benefits
I am so disappointed and very much angry with the department of labour, have applied for maternity benefits last year December in Kempton Park branch, up until now my money hasn't been paid to my bank account, and there is no reason why it hasn't been paid , all the documents are on the system, even the consultant didn't see any missing documents, have been phoning and phoning to follow up with my query because the consultant told me that i will get my money after 10 days, have waited for months now nothing came to my bank account, your phones are forever busy and we are using borrowed money to make calls coz at the branches they cant help us, they do not have much info when it comes to payments.....

UIF claim
Case no. 10003804532 I have submitted continuation of benefits on 4 March 2016 as I have been unemployed since 30 November 2015. I was told that the payment would take between 7 - 10 days. After 10 days I did not receive any benefit and was told to wait another 10 days, as of today, I have still not received a payment. Each time I call, the Call Centre Agent does not have anything to say other than to wait another 10 days. I sent an email to Heine Adonis who is listed as a contact name on the website, and 8 days later, he too has not responded. Can anyone at the Labour department help since when calling you cannot speak to a Manager, emails are not responded to. I am told that the Labour Call Centre receives 500 calls a day but maybe if you were more efficient, that would not be the case.
I certainly hope that this complaint will get a response.

I applied for a matenity benefit november 2014 at the department of labour. the department of labour told me that my previous employee didn't sent my document until i lay a complained. After two weeks they told me that they sent my document but it was wrong and i have to go back again for ui19 which doesn't crospond to my current employee. Instead of helping me they told me that there is nothing they can do, so i was disappointed. Plz help me2 get my money my id no 8607110803081.

UIF frustration
Wasted time spent at UIF offices.
I was retrenched Sept 2015 and am still unemployed; single father of two boys. I spent many days following the instructions getting paperwork submitted but constantly getting excuses such as system is off or the paperwork was not captured yet ;recently after sitting there a whole day I was told they don't understand why I was employed by 3 companies that is why my case is not approved the company sent e-mail proof that the name is indeed a 3 word name for one company the clerk told me to come back in 3 weeks ,this I did only to find the problem was not solved yet.
I have been working and UIF deducted from my pay since 1981 the purpose of these monthly deductions is as we know to provide in event of unemployment, it is however not the case I am struggling to feed my kids or pay accounts because in the time of unemployment the UIF is not forthcoming so the whole purpose of the UIF deductions is null and void. When I find employment chances are that I would not have received a single sent.
The question arises if this failure to perform by the UIF is intentional as if they are hoping you find work so that no payment has to be done.
The purpose of UIF deductions failed me.

I can not go to office

I applied for a uif maternity benefits on December 2015, submitted all required documents, i have not received any sms.
everytime ;i go to kempton park labour offices i have been told to submit the same documents over and over yet nothing is being done,Its really frustating queing for 3hours and you are being told the same excuse everyday, i have been calling as well you hold for 15 minutes or more before you get to speak to a agent, everytime i call i have been told my file will escalated to a ssessor, it is 90 days and no response. i have been sent from pillar to post.

I applied for UIF - consultant confirmed all documents were in order.
Received an sms stating my UIF was denied. i have tried calling and writing to find out why it was denied, no response.
Who can help me as I am unable to go to the labour centre and stand in the line for 3 hours.

UIF ILLNESS BENEFITS CLAIM
I have been waiting for my UIF Illness Benefits Claim Case no.10003273665 to been pay out but till now.
I submitted All Necessary Documents at Kempton Park Labour Branch Office Last Year on the 30th November 2015.
I was advised to come back on the 05 January 2016 with UI-3 form completed by the Doctor, which I've done that.
I have been at Kempton Park Branch Office 6 times now and They keep Re-scanning my Documents to the Assessor to Approve it.
CAN I PLEASE GET ASSISTANCE ON MY CLAIM.

I have been out of work since november 2015, in dec i did apply for uif insurance money but till now 21 March i didnt receive any cent , i have been paying uif insurance for the past 7yrs, now am out of wk they cant help me . i have been at kempton park branch more than 10 times , i even to their office in bramfontein but all was in vein, i was told ui19 form was not captured, i think i did send tht form 6 times, then comes another another problem ui10 form . am completely confused pliz can u kindly help . Regarding Salary withhold by company

I was working in company as a counselor. I worked over there for 3 months and then resigned for some personal reason (health issues) after giving a notice of approx. 20 days (verbal, as my HR denied to write a resignation mail). They had ensured me about the payment of the salary if any admission is there. Now, its being 5 days later than the date of payment. I called to HR to inquire about the same. She told me that the salary has been put on hold due to my poor performance (one admission done from my side). the target based salary deduction or withhold is neither written anywhere in the appointment letter nor was discussed at the time of joining.... What should I do to get my salary for the complete month?
Kindly revert ASAP.

UIF BANKRUPT
From what I have heard, the UIF Departments are Bankrupt. They don't have the money to pay out to the people. I bet eveyone who has been there never got paid out a cent, they keep you coming back with "queries" "rejections", "Documents missing", all a tactic to delay the process of paying out, hoping you will find work in the meantime and just drop the whole matter. Maybe many many years ago it paid out,but I have never heard of a single case that someone got paid, always a story as to non payment!!!

UIF CLAIM REJECTED
After two trips to the Kempton Park Labour Department, with ALL my documents on hand. They verified the UI-19 forms, I was eventually served. I have never claimed UIF in all my working years, and now as my contract ended, I am without work, I thought all will be fine as you wait so long for this small amount of money.
I registered on 8th March 2016, and today 11th March, get an sms on my cellphone, that it has been rejected and I need to submit an appeal at the Labour Centre. I don't get given a reason why it was rejected.
Now back to square one, I have to phone them and hopefully you get through, to find out what I must appeal??what was the reason?......so come Monday, here I go again driving petrol and parking fees out for probably a lost cause.
They want our money and contributions every month, yet when we need it, there is always a "problem", this I have heard over and over again from people I have spoken to,and judging by all the above queries, can see this is true.
I think our contributions are just paying the salaries of all the people working at the UIF department, there is nothing left to pay out.
Really disgusted as somehow I knew they would pull a dirty trick.
I think it high time that the UIF gets stopped, this Country is bankrupt and can't afford to pay out UIF to people hence the "hold up", whats the use of contributing off our payslips every month, and then get told we are rejected??

Maternity claim not being paid

To Whom It May Concern:
I have been waiting for my UIF maternity claim (10003443085) to pay out now for more than nine weeks after ALL the necessary documentation has been submitted.
I noticed that on the complaint site for the department of labour that there are women who has waited for pay outs more than 3 to 4 years. This is absolutely unacceptable.
It doesn't help you try and phone the Department of Labour as no one is interested in doing their job, the only response you get is a machine. To go and stand in a line that is meters long for more than 9 hours and you are number nine eventually in the queue and then the Department of Labour just decides that it is now closing time and closes doors and tells you to "come back tomorrow" isn't helping much, but to deduct my money and make it a law that I must contribute to the UIF scheme is no problem - but to pay out that is due to me - that is a problem, where is my money that is due to me???????
I have been contributed to the UIF fund for more than 17 years as a lawful citizen as required by law and now that I would like to claim back my hard earn working money I just don't get paid.
I am completely reliant on the UIF claim payout as I have 'n newborn that needs to be fed and diapers to be changed EVERY DAY and rent and bills that needs to be paid clockwise at the END OF EVERY MONTH.
It will be nice if we can receive our money that is legally due to us also CLOCKWISE AT THE END OF EVERY MONTH as it is being deducted every month.
Is this SERVICE, NO MOST DEFINETLY NOT!!!
Is this IMPROVING OUR COUNTRY, DEFINETLY NOT!!!
I would like to see if my complaint and all the other complaints of all the other desperate mothers who have been lawful citizens are being considered as important.
PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE SERVICE AND EFFENCINCY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR - YOU ARE PLAYING WITH PEOPLE'S LIVES!!!

Its been years that I have submitted my claim and it still has not been resolved to be exact since 2007, and what is really irritating is that each and every year I receive forms to complete from the department of Education. as we speck I am sending an email to the law ombudsman.
I have been coming to the Pretoria offices and every time I get sent back and told that I should wait in weeks time they will response.
I am taking pain tablets every time which has my Exhaust medical aid.

Pay out taking too long
I made a claim last year december at bellville western cape I waited to be contacted I never was so I went to the brench on january to find that my claim was not put tru I had to make another claim it took me two sipmle weeks then I was notified that it has been aproved I then went to the bracnh to sign they told me to go to my work place and confirm my employment wich I did now they want my payslips ....I mean why they suppose to have all our details cose we pay this money to them IF THEY FAIL TO PROVIDE THEY SHOULD MAKE UIF OPTIONAL COS THEIR SERVICE IS POOR AND THE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY ROOD THE IS NO MANAGER IF YOU COME AFTER 9AM THEY SEND U BACK HOME I MEAN HOW GOOD IS THAT IF YOU ASK FOR SOMEONE INCHAGE THEY TELL YOU TO PHONE THE MINISTER

Good afternoon.
Can I please get assistance on my claim.
I submited all the documents then I recieved my 1st sms stating
Dear PRIMROSE PALESA. UIF claim received. Progress on claim will be communicated within 35 days. Enquiries contact local Labour Centre . Case No : 10003692813
Then I recieved 2nd sms stating
Dear PRIMROSE PALESA.UIF Medical Certificate and Leave Income outstanding .Enquiries contact local Labour Centre. Case No:10003692813
I then went back to ask why am I recieving an sms stating my documents are outstanding.
The lady told me that I have nothing to worry about the person who was processing my claim did not scan all my documents but she can see in my file that everything is in there.Now im frustrated that I have not recieved any feedback again & the phones are not answered.Please assist.

Our company was closed in September 2015, I applied for uif in November and up to date I have not received a cent but in turn promises that are unfulfilled. Since last year I would be told that my papers were not captured correctly..I would use my last money to continuously travel to the Brits labour center and even went to an extend of going to Pretoria but still nothing. I was again told that papers were being processed in Mafikeng..I am confused because all my former colleagues have received their pay outs. Last week I was told to expect payment yesterday but upon getting there I was again told that my papers were not captured correctly.
I have a family with three kids depending on me. How do these people do this to other ppl. Are they remorseful? What gives them the right to withhold our hard earned money from us? I am frustrated as there seems to be no solution

I have been waiting for my uif payment my baby is already 3 months old, I have rent to pay and my bills are doubling ..
My baby is in need of stuff,but the labour centre in Randburg has absolutely no concern been there 12 times and I am told the u19 not captured.
Spoke to Robert the Supervisor and still no progress
I called the call centre spoke to simon and Sarah and today I spoke to George.…
Please pay what's due to be me please thee roof over my head is my concern as I. Need to pay my rent or else I will be on the street..

I applied for myUIF claim for maternity@ malboro on 22 of october 2015.i recived and sms stating that everything is fine i will be contacted after 35 days and given reference.MY mother in law went there early december to check why they have not contacted me.they told her there were missing the UI19.i re submeet the UI19.but still there were missing again.on january i went to maponya to check they said everything is fine i will get money lates the 2nd feb 2015.2nd of feb i went to brammfontein office i was told there were missing UI19 again.I have a five months child who is not brestfeeding and i was on unpaid for full four months.i cant applie for child support as they say i dont qualify.Please assist me i need whats due to me.

UNPAID MATERNITY BENEFITS
I have applied for maternity from October 2015 from the UIF satellite offices in Lenasia .It now March 2016 and still there was no payment that was done. Everytime i went there i was always told that the paper work is scanned and not captured I even went to the Head Ofiice in Braamfontein 5 times and still get no help.The People working for the offices in Lenasia are rude and really dont assist people.It taking the department 4 months to capture documents and approve it really it so disgusting .Maternity payouts is there to help a mother see to her new born baby needs with the pay outs from the department but they just dont give a dam of people needs and yet we not asking for their money but what is due to me.When i asked to speak to a manager at the Braamfontein Branch i was told all the time that they cant help me for there is a back log a back log for the past 4 months i think that is a lie.can some one please assist me urgently i need this money so badly

SO FRUSTRATING
I'm so frustrated with the Labour department. I have applied for my UIF Maternity in October 2015 and to date I have received no money. I followed up in November and I was told that all my documents are in order and they just need to be assessed. I was told that i should come back in December. I went back to the Labour centre in Randburg in December and they advised that their system has changed, they do not capture and assess at the same office anymore. The consultant advised that my documents where sent to be assessed by the head office and I should return in January 2016 to follow up. I returned in January and i was given the run around again. At this point I was very frustrated and I asked to speak to a supervisor. They referred to Robert Magadani (Supervisor) he told me all my documents where in order and i should wait 7 days and I will be paid. I haven't had any money going into my account and due to this, my account has even closed. Now I have been forced to open a new account and I have also registered on Ufiling and have changed my banking details online but I still see that the documents are still be assessed. Its been 5 months and I have received a cent.
This is extremely disappointing as I believe this is my money that been paid without trouble every month and now that I would like to access it , its now a problem.
I have been to Randburg offices over 20 times and called on numerous occasions and still i have been given the run around. PLEASE HELP SOMEONE!!!!!

Maternity UIF
I am very dissapointed with how my maternity claim has been dealt with. My documents was submitted via U-Filing by moms uif assist on the 25th of Novemeber 2015 and to date I haven received a cent! I've been told since I started following up in Jan that there is a back log with the UI19's and it hasn't been captured yet. Due to this I have now lost my car as I havent been able to make any payments!
It is absolutely ridiculous!
