Hi,
I please need some assistance. I used a company to submit all my documentation for Maternity UIF claim in November 2015.
To date nothing has been paid out, the excuses that I received, new system change, for the past 3 months every time it gets escalated to be paid according to the agency.
Please could someone look into my profile as money gets deducted from my payslip every month for UIF, now that i need the help i just get ignored.

good day,
I've been to the uif office 4 times only to be sent back. I was advise to use an agency as they will get my things sorted out. its 4 months already where I have not received a cent from the UIF. no one answers their phones. what is the hold up that I have not received my payment? how do you expect me to cloth feed and see to my baby needs when there no payment being made and no one available to take my calls???????
this is ridiculious,
please provide me with information what is the hold up to why I have not been paid ou yet.!!!!!!!

Maternity UIF
My baby was born on 27 June 2015 and i have still received no money for my UIF claim. i have resent my UI19 9 times to an email address given by my agent and still no response or money. I am getting fed up! Why do we pay UIF???????
Please can someone start assisting us, maybe the government officials have enough money to live, but the rest of us dont, and need that money! Maybe you should pay the overdue UIF claims and stop putting sh*t like the E-tolls up!?!?!

went to the Department of labour in Randburg 4 times and only today they tell me i need to come back after my maternity leave!!! could they not tell me this the first time i went? WAS TOLD TO COME BACK BEFORE 7AM ONLY TO BE SENT BACK!!!!!! AGAIN.
Service there is terrible. IT'S SO EASY FOR THEM SO SEND PEOPLE BACK. IT'S RIDICULOUS.

unpaid uif maternity claim
I paid a company to submit the necessary paperwork to the department of labour. These were sumitted at the end of January 2016. Its the end of May and I am still waiting for my money. Everytime the department has a different excuse. Because of this it has negatively affected my credit ratings

A number of emails were sent to the Johannesburg office by the official who has been assisting me and he doesn't even get a response. He also tries to follow up on my case only when I visit their offices.

I had an accident last year and was paid for two months as a gesture of good will by the Company I worked for. One month from all my available sick leave and one month as per arrangement which I had to pay back on resigning. Something did not seem quite right to me and now after making enquiries find out that for my sick leave period I was entitled to get UIF and should have submitted the claim latest 6month after the period claimed for. Please advise me who should have informed me of this? I do not think it fair to be left in the dark about these issues.

I have been reading previous complaints. And we all experiencing same problems at Sandton Labour centre. They have sent me back 8 times already. Every new person has a new problem with my paperwork. Then the staff all play dom when asked but why did you say everything was fine before. We pay our UIF, you people get your act together and stop playing games with us.
I want my paperwork processed and I do not want any delays in my pay out thereafter! Because after sending me back and forth to fix small errors, your staff better make damn sure thet capture it perfectly, approve and pay without any problems.
And yes Sandton Labour centre does not answer the phone.
Please have a staff meeting Sandton labour centre and address these issues. Half a year later and people are complaining about the same thing! My ID number: 9002060307086.

Uif appeal
My name is Shaleen Bennett and I was retrenched in December 2014 but due to having severe medical constraints at the time I could not apply timeously for uif. I did however apply at a later stage and complied with all the requirements as laid out by the labour department regarding the appeal process. I was told by consultants at the Roodepoort offices that they can't assist me untill the 90 days waiting period has expired. I was told I would receive a sms from the appeals department in Braamfontein and only then can I go back to the Roodepoort offices for assistance. The appeal was logged on the 17th January 2016 and I have not received any contact from the Braamfontein appeals board. I am still unemployed at this stage and I have financial needs that I must meet in order to survive untill I find employment. I need finality on this issue urgently please???

No Response whatsoever
No one answers any of the CT, Braamfontein, or Randburg numbers listed. Emails dont get responded to even if you have the correct person dealing with your situation. i am sick and tired of this 10th grade service we put up with. i have a case whereby my son got burnt with DC 10 acid at previous employer, and the company is said to be investigated and taken to court if need be. He needs Additional compensation due to Company neglegence, and nothing is being done. I am told they would give us feedback , then when you eventually get a response after many weeks from this investigating officer, you get told the report sent to someone else, an d the info not released to us. then you start to query the new person, but after month or more no reply. No positive outcome. i have gone as far as contacting a labour Law spokesman / member of Parliament. waiting for the outcome...is this how far we must go to get attention. Emails dont get answered in weeks, phones dont work......my son was told he only has a year to claim additional compensation, its now over a year (eventhough forms have been submitted to Patricia Mafata....no answers to any emails. Lesibe Raphela has a report after taking a statement from the Company involved for neglegence, now we cannot get the report from them..so tired of this

Good afternoon,
My case sent to the assessors on 19/04 as per online details I can view.
Last week Thursday on 12/05 I called and spoke to Johannes Molapo who confirmed he cannot find any details for the employer I am claiming for. I went to Brenda on 13/05 where she then completed these forms as per the mail Johannes sent to her on 12/05.
I called in today - 20/05 just after 14:20 where Sipho confirmed there is still no new details captured yet today it's a week since Brenda sent in the forms. I then asked to be transferred to the end survey and then Sipho offered to transfer me to Johannes where the call then dropped.
I called back at 4:27 and spoke to Katlgo Kegana who confirmed the same as Sipho still no new updated details. Katlgo could not confirm if this was sent to the back office or by when it will be captured and went to Johannes to check. All she could confirmed is that Johannes does not capture the details personally.- she returned to the call only to confirm Mr Johannes Molapo does not have the email yet I have the confirmation which I will forward.
I was told their Supervisor is Gregory Kgwale.
I asked to be transferred again to the survey at the end of the call. I only got as far as please rate the consultant - 0 is the worst and 5 is the best then the call dropped.
I would appreciate if someone feedback with regards to my complaint.
I will forward the emails as soon as I received it to match my case number.

Hi. I was due to get my first payment on the 12 of May. I have phoned the Alberton Branch none stop. No one picks up the phones. I have phoned Pretoria, Johanesburg and no one picks up there phones. I dont know what to do anymore. I am unemployed and need the money urgently. Will appreciate it if someone can help. Thank you.

I was retrenched from my company after 11 years of service in November 2015. I applied for UIF benefits on 15/01/2016, and was given a date to come back on 28/2/2016. when I go back on 28/2/2016, I am told that the application is not yet approved and was given another date on 30/3/2016. when I go on 30/3/2016, same thing "not yet approved", and was told to come back 10/5/2016. In all this time does this department realize and understand that we are unemployed and need this money to survive. i received payment on 13/5/2016, for R20437.80. my salary at the time of retrenchment was R24382.00 per month. my question is what percentage of my salary is the UIF claim benefit, and do we get back paid from the date of application, as I have been waiting almost 4 months for payment and I get this amount, which barely covers my bond arrears for the past 4 months. if this payment is including back pay, then something is wrong, because then its means that my UIF claim is equivalent to about R5000pm, and that is 20% benefit of my salary. I tried calling the labour department but they do not answer, so how are we expected to get answers. we contributed towards UIF and we expect to have answers to our questions but who do we ask. Due to their delay, I may just lose my house, as the bank was lenient enough to give me a break the past 4 months, but they cannot wait any longer.
i would like a reply from the labour department, or is that too much to ask.

Please help! i have been to the UIF offices 11 times and still not a cent paid. Every time go to the offices the say I have documents outstanding, however on Friday the 13th I had a look on the system and all my documents are on the system. The UIF officer that work there always gives me incorrect information, and tells me to bring in the documents when I arrive with the documents he says that its on the system sorry. Its been 5 months since my son was born and I fear that they will not pay me.
It seems that all the officers don't know their work or understand processes as they never know when money will be paid out or what the next step in the process in.
In the 11 time I've have been to the offices i have paid for parking and used my petrol.
