Good Day
can some one please assist ,i applied maternity leave 20 May 2016 in Atlantis Cape Town haven't heard anything until i go to Uif office in Atlantis on 8 of July 2016 Cinty Lottering did call a lady named Janine Pieterse to tell her there is no payment option under my name but the claim has been approved 2 she courier my documents and they did confirm the Monday they did get the documents. 2 weeks later go back to Office Atlantis still no payment options after several calls Cinty Give me contact details of Marieke Maton she said on the 25 of July she will contact me once she have received my file from Cape Town head office never did she call me back,on the week 15 August i call Marieke Maton again till she was busy i leave a massage with one of her college to call me back today no call back....heard nothing from anyone of them they even get angry when you just want to find out how far is my application why do government employ such person do anyone even get back on this complain website?
please everyone suffer if they are used to a salary and now our help dint even help us when we in need of our own money.

UNPAID MATERNITY UIF
I am waiting and waiting for my maternity benefit to pay out. I went on maternity leave on 18 February 2016, and my UIF documentation was submitted on or about March 2016.
I was on maternity leave for 3 months. I am back at work for 3 months and still no word and no payments. To date I have paid my UIF contribution. For what??? 6 months later!!!!

Maternity uif claim rejected
Case No : 10004701161, please someone assist and advise on the way forward , how can a maternity claim be rejected when I contribute to uif every month even to today, it is frustrating am behind my monthly accounts payments , my savings account is all dried out. Instead of enjoying my maternity leave with my baby am stressing about rent and bills not paid. Most people I work with got their claims approved and have submitted the same documents as I have, to their local labour dpt. But in Pretoria offices they making things hard for us not considering the financial distress they putting us through.

MATERNITY UIF
Dear UIF Department,
I am utterly disgusted with your service levels.
I applied for my maternity benefits on the 7th July already via the ufiling website, case 10004605632
I have sent through all documents, first via fax, then via email to the ffg email addresses that I was requested to send it through to:

I have been calling weekly since the beginning of August to ensure that all my documents have been received, each time I wait 40 minutes to an hour for my call to be answered. I cannot afford to keep calling & waiting these ridiculous times to be assisted.
The last email was sent to the consultant [email protected] who promised to assist - & yet again failed to assist.
I am currently on hold with the call center as I type this email, & 1 hour later I get a voice notice to say that you are experiencing a technical problem & unable to take my call!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please can someone assist me as a matter of urgency as I need my UIF money asap, I don’t understand what the delay is as I have submitted all the documents already.

Poor service
I've been waiting for my UIF claim to be approved sine 22/03/2016. I am a single parent and have a child to support. Why are we paying for a service, we're not getting? I've been at their offices every second week but no one can tell me what the problem is.

Maternity Uif
I am waiting and waiting for my maternity benefit to pay out, I phoned each day of the week, to query about it, then they changed queries to Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, now they changed it to the same dates but before 12 o'clock.
I was on maternity leave for 4 months, I am back at work for 2 months and nothing...they keep on having all kinds of problems with everything. NOBODY seems to be able to help me. I am behind on my payments due the incompetence of people not doing there work.

I have applied for UIF on the 18th of May 2016, to date I keep on getting new sign daes but no draw date, When I query they keep on asking for the same UI19's over and over again.
I have sent numerous emails to the Labour complaints department and Top Management of the department of labour and no one is able to assist me
I received a date for 25 Aust and when I went in today I was advised the my 1 UI19 is not a clear scanned copy so I must go to Braamfontein and query this
I think we all apply for UIF because we are unemployed. If i was employed I would not have applied or if I got a jon in the interim during the application process I would not have continued with the application
I don't have alternate income and I have bills to pay and children to feed. Who can assist me in this regard

The problem here is that this ANC government is busy employing people who are incompetent how then will money be paid. That is why you need DA fire all this employees and get people who are qualified and want to do the job. They can't run people around like this. I am not into politics but I am sure DA can do better.

I applied for my maternity UIF in May and I was told to come sign in July. When I got there I was told my documents haven't been processed yet that I should re-submit the UI19. I re-submitted that UI19 and I was given a date for July. In July I was told the same story and now its August and my documents are still hanging somewhere. This is pathetic really.and this is for the old payment must still get my new payment and phoning them in Roodepoort no keeps on ringing is this the correct no 011766-200 what i they doing please higher athoritys please advised

Maternity Benefits Claim
My domestic worker has still not received any maternity benefits from the UIF. Each month she goes to their offices and they tell her that their is still no payment for her. I do not know whether it is because I have made a mistake on her UIF submissions, but cannot get hold of anyone to help me. When i call I have to listen to an answering machine telling me what an important customer I am but after holding on for more that 15 minutes at a time I eventually give up. My emails have also gone unanswered.

Maternity benefits claim
Please can someone let me know about my status of my claim and when I will get paid? I have tried phoning and was kept on hold for more than 30 min and still no answer. I then tried all the numbers on site, but still there was no answer or I would go through to the call center and had to wait for someone to answer.

My name is Rafael Chivite ID NO :6712256751185.I applied for UIF on the 24th-06-2015.My documents were not processed for eight months until I went to Benoni branch where Mr Reddy manager indicaterd to me that the dates when I was boarded to be sick did not correlate with the doctor's date .I went to the doctor and rectified the mistake.But until todate have'nt received my pay-out.Everybody is absconding responsibility in Benoni Labour Dpt.Currently sick in hospital.I'm living in poverty and misery.The manager in Benoni Mr Reddy referred me to a lady by the name of Zweli .She is refusing to take my calls.This is adversely affecting me.Pleading for your intervention because this people in Benoni are insensitive to my plight.

UIF unpaid
I applied for uif after being retrenched from work in April 2016.I went to uif offices to check approval in July.I was told it is not approved. I went two weeks later and was told that they are closing because there is no water. I went again in August and was told that their system is down. I keep on calling and they never respond to calls. The one time they answered the phone they asked me to hold for over 15 minutes.
Please assist.I am really frustrated with the service

I went in to sign for my money on 18 JULY 2016, and was told it would be in my account within 10 work days. On 30 JULY 2016, I received sms saying that request was only processed then and that my money will be paid 7 TO 10 days.
Up to date i still HAVEN'T RECEIVED any payments in my account. I arranged for late payments and couldnt keep to them, which may lead to further steps now.

It is angering and very unprofessional and inconsiderate to have people who don't care working at the department of labour whereby they have to deal with mothers whom are depending on their claims to survive during their maternity leave, while the staff at the UIF is getting paid and there's women out there who have to around borrowing money for Diapers and make ends meet for their next meal, because their claims and complains are falling into deaf ears, blind eyes or bluntly non carrying hands, Please act with compassion and as if you were treating or helping your very own.
CASE NUMBER 10004838407, a message was received stating that the claim was rejected and after an hour of attempting to reach the department, my work being put on hold and my fiancé wasting her airtime for countless attempts of calling, I ended up being answered by Ruth, whom I have stated to her that I'm calling in regards to rejected claim, she asked me to hold, transferred my call to a dead end extension, and I called again to be answered after 20 minutes, and the same happened,, my fiancé went through the same process of a answered call which ended no where.
May we please stop having non carrying staff in the department, as we have a lot of people suffering due to this, and many are those who have no access to internet or anything in regards to complaints, may we also have staff stop behaving like the claims are coming out of their pockets or their budget, please do not turn a blind eye, deaf ear or ignorance to this matter, please assist.

Hi, I find it very unprofessional that one has to call for an hour before a call is attended at the Roodepoort, My fiancé and I have been calling from different phones so we could get attended, finally my call was answered by Ruth, who I have stated to that I am calling in regards to a rejected claim and she asked me told, which she then transferred me to an extension which is never attended, I spoke to Ruth twice and she transferred me twice to the same extension, my fiancé called and finally after an hour as well she spoke to the same lady Ruth who also transferred her to a dead end extension, she's using aitime to call and I am at work also not being productive due to this matter, which I hope is not gonna fall into deaf ears or blind eyes, My fiancés Case number is 10004838407

We have a rejected claim and all we need is a way forward and reason as in to what causes rejections and what can be done to fix this, we have deductions occurring month in month out, and now being time to claim a portion of your deductions we have staff members behaving like the returns or payments are coming from their own pockets and budgets, its very unprofessional and unfair to mothers who are relying on this money which is deducted from them with no questions asked but have hassles to claim, what do they feed their kids, what do the kids were, what does the mother eat, be considerate please guys.

unpaid salary
Was working for a construction company which made us work for 5 months without salary. Promising to pay all salaries in due time when the claims went through. After 5 months with no hope of payments i could not continue working based on not affording to even feed myself and owing everyone on earth. I opened a case with the labour department in Polokwane in 2014 which they wanted bank statements as proof of non payments. Which i submitted to the labour, now is 2016 since i waited. Im just told the case is with the labour court even today. Im losing hope as it is said the owner of the company pays labour inspectors to turn a blind eye. Please advise on what other angle to take in this case.

uif still not paid since April 2016
April I claimed for Uif and got a complete run around from the department. After making an appointment to see a manager things started rolling, I was told to report back to Kempton Park department of labour today to sign and that I would be paid within 5 days. Today I went to sign and there is a notice on the door advising that they closed for 2 weeks renovation and that another area department of labour would assist. I went to Alberton department of labour today to be advised that Kempton Park did not complete the necessary documentations. I now have to wait another 15 days to sign before any money will be released.
Iv been waiting 5 months for payment and its getting ridiculous

I have submitted my uif in June,was told to submit my marriage certificate and I did. I got an SMS that claim will be communicated after 35 days. SMS I received from department of labor is dated 9/7/16 but I submitted in June. I swear to GOD,I Will TAKE THIS FURTHER THAN THIS. I cant afford to feed myself let alone make a phone call.

UIF Maternity Benefit not paid out
I submitted my UIF Maternity forms and all was checked and I was informed that all was in order for me to receive my payout. I was even given a form as proof that my claim has been submitted successfully and I was told that I should be getting my payout within 5 to 8 weeks.This was in March 2016. I have been waiting since then and every time I go there to enquire they say that my claim has not been approved yet and no one is able to tell me what the hold up is as I have submitted all the documents they needed without any issues. This is really unfair as I have been contributing to the fund but I am not getting any returns. I stood on the long queues and was sent back and forth in order to submit all my documents and now I have been waiting for 5 months without any response. every time I call them there is no response and when I go to the labour department, I sit in queues again in order to be told that my claim has not been approved. Please assist.
