I have been trying to claim since February 2016 and today each time I go and do a follow up I am being told that 1 form is missing and when I bring it something else is missing. Today 21 September I get an sms that my claim has been rejected.

please advise on claim, I claimed in April 2016 via ufiling, I've sent documents through numerous time.The last update was on 19 Aug 2016 being sent to the assessor. I have no feedback, cant get through to your phone lines and when i do i either get cut off or nobody can tell me whats going on. Who is there to help if not you guys, come on, wake up send your people for training, the service is very poor.
Can some1 please contact me and let me know what going. we have families to support, there is no sense of urgency.
My kids are 8months already and not one payment has been made and just bare in mind that this is our money that we worked hard for and now we have to beg for it, its given for nothing. UIF is not doing us a favor.

All documents submitted in May 2016 but ufiling still indicates cancelled due to required documentation not being provided. The company I hired to assist was told that the documents submitted has not yet been scanned onto your system and then provided the documents again. This was done around 24 August 2016 and we are now 20 September 2016.

Guys come on, improve your processes. If you want me to come in and do the uploading for you I will. Or provide an option on Ufiling for all the documents to be added once off.

I applied for UIF maternity on the 12.04.2016 and till today I have heard nothing from them. On the 10.09.2016 I went there to follow up and I was told that one of document I submitted was not scanned the guy that was helping me took all my documents copies and originals and he said I’ll receive payment before the end of the week. You won’t believe that I’m still waiting it is said that we pay every month but when we claim they can’t assist and they don’t communicate with us if there is a problem not even a sms or email. At the branch that I went to pregnant ladies and mothers carrying babies have to queue for hours like I did, you end up breast feeding your baby standing on the queue like I did on the 10.09.2016. Please help with my claim.

Please can someone get back to me regarding this as it is very difficult for me to go spend an entire day a the the uif office. This is very frustrating as I have been depending on these funds.

My maternity UIF documents were submitted in February 2016 on ufiling. I have made several attempts emailed webmaster and [email protected] with no response what so ever. In addition I have called the help desk on 0860-345-464 or 012-3371680 and I have been placed on hold for over an hour each and every time I have called. I have called these numbers daily with no success. I have gone to the labour department branch and after waiting for hours in the queue, I was informed that if documents were uploaded on ufiling then I can’t follow up at the branch but need to call the help desk and email ufiling support.My Ufiling status, states completed by assessor. I applied for a UIF maternity benefits in May 2016 at Denneboom branch (Mamelodi), and on the 26th of June 2016 received an sms saying my application was rejected??? I went to their offices to find out why is my claim rejected, and they told me not to worry everybody who lodged a claim is receiveing the same sms. Good day, my baby was born February the 5th, I went to the labour department at least 15 times or more and nobody can give me answers all they say is they are still busy with the application, after going in to the office so many times ant the end of march I was told that my application was rejected due to them having month end, and so that my application will be redone and it will be approved after month end I will receive an sms to come sign for my first payment, I have not received any sms's I went back and still no one can give me any answers and that they are still busy with my application, after so many phone call's and visits to the department in krugersdorp speaking to Lefele, to Nomsa or Numi and even the Supervisor, one day before I had to go back to work this was on the 25th of May 2016, I tried one last time and I phoned and spoke to Angelique and I asked her please just to explain to me what is going on, she said that she will check and phone me back, she phoned me 30min later, and said to me that I was rejected due to still receiving money in my account from my work amounts of R680.00, R630.00 and R1080.00 which Gill Jacobz at our HR said that she needed to pay into my account to keep my pension going, and those amount she already deducted as soon as I went back to work, Angelique told me that we need to redo the whole application, but I will not be able to do that as I started working the next day, and so that would be fraud if I started working again and received money from the labour department, please help me as I did fill in an appeal which my HR department send together with a letter to Benny Tau from Labour department, I don't know what to do anymore, I had to give myself over to debt review because of not having no income for 4 months. After spending days at the UIF offices in Pretoria (case nr 10004989638) my UIF claim was rejected. I filled in all the forms and all my paperwork was in order according to them. I was even given a date to come sign for my first payment. This is totally unacceptable. I am Ms. Serene Hendricks I have not been receiving any UIF for 3 months. According to Department of labor there is an investigation that’s taking place as my previous employer reappointed me, which is not true. They transferred money into my account due to unfair dismissal settlement. I was never re appointed with them.

I also submitted a letter from my previous employer as proof to this department. I am irate at the fact that I have to wait to receive money that is due to me. I am still currently unemployed and struggling financially. I am in contact with them on a regular basis and i am being sent from pillar to post. Personally i feel that there is an internal problem as they not all on the same page.

I have been in contact with the various staff from inquiries to head of department and no one can assist me in getting what rightfully belongs to me. If this is why UIF is deducted monthly then I am not quite sure what is going on with this department.

Good morning,

After making all of my submissions online and Faxing through my documents almost 2 months ago, I see a notification online this morning to say that my submission has been cancelled due to not receiving the documents.In this day and age, how can you still work with Fax and not provide an email or a place to upload documents. I have also emailed the required medical certificate through twice and sat on the phone for the last two months to try and get a hold of you. Either the phone line requires me to wait on hold or the phone line doesn't even work!

PLEASE can someone get a hold of me urgently to sort this out.

Please someone assist and advise on the way forward , I applied for maternity leave in May now its August and am back to work and am still not yet been paid, since July I was told that my doctor did not sign my papers but when they check my scanned papers from the system, that paper is signed. I was employed by Mr Thabo Mogowane on the 23rd June 2016 at Mobi Spa Pretoria, and commenced with employment on the 27th June 2016. The agreed start-up payment was R3000 p/m. No contract was signed at that point but I reported for duty nonetheless.
My duties were to tele-market the business, call on existing clients for appointments,send and reply emails, compile invoices,set up and conduct interviews for new site-members, and sometime, go on site to assist the masseuse.
Month-end of July I was paid R500 and told the balance would be paid into my account the following week, which I never received. I continued to go to work for the first two weeks of August and then stopped as I could not afford travelling costs anymore.
I raised the issue with Mr Mogowane numerous times with no clear explanation as to why I haven't received my salary. On the 29th August 2016, I raised the issue again with Mr Mogowane and he promised to pay me on the 31st of August 2016. The date came and still there was no payment made.

I hereby request your intervention in order not only to protect my interests but also to enforce my rights.

We are being sent from pillar to post, we lost our jobs to rub salts on our wounds we do not get paid our uif benefits all they know is to give you a payment form to fill up but money dololo,I've been signing I don't know how many times but there's no money, somebody please come to the rescue, I'm now in debts, kicked out of my rental room because I didn't pay for the past 4 months....... I went unpaid maternity last year from the 2nd of October 2015 and came back to work on the 2nd of February 2016 and till today my claim is still not approved. I am writing this with great disappointment of poor service I received from the labour department I mean if someone is sent on unpaid maternity leave for four month obviously you depending on the UIF money and it hurts that I did not get my money.

I made my application in October 2015 the whole period of my maternity leave I have been going back and forth to the Labour center in Orlando West every time I visited their office I would be told a different story about my UI-19 form and my employment periods I followed that up until I went back to work, I continued with my follow ups by calling the Labour call center and the Orlando West office and sometime had to take time off from work to go direct and they would still say they scanning my documents I must check after two weeks,Now in August I called the labour center (Orlando west) and spoke to a lady called Salome and she said she is sending my details to the head office for them to allocate an assessor who can approve my application and she also said I must give it two weeks two weeks went past and still nothing is happening.
