UIF South Africa...

Seriously, I think government need to interfere on this UIF thing, it's seems there's a lack of discipline and their service it's totally POOR,

How can they tell you to come after 35 days but that 35 days becomes five months, really i think something must be done here, people are struggling and it's like no one is taking a notice of it those people who deals with UIF it's seems they only thinking for themselves,

I think our government should have a look on such things, because we really struggling on ground level

UIF for maternity

I applied for UIF in January. Everytime since then I am told to come back in 2 weeks time, which I have done and once again I am told to come back. I swear every person ther is telling a different story. It is pathetic to be honest. The one time I was told to come and sign and when I say that to the guy he asked so rude to sign what. What do you sign there, for car insurance. I am a single parent and I have to borrow money to survive. Is that fair. I am working hard for the little money. I got an outstanding medical bill to be paid, I actually just received a call from the people. I honestly hope that I get a respond from this.

No service

I submitted my maternity claim end of January 2016 and still have not received anything. I used the online submission, but they keep saying I have documents outstanding and I keep resending them.
Another month end has come and still no communication despite the sms that states 7-10 days for more feedback.
When I call the contact centre, I hold on for an hour and a half before I get cut off...no answer at all.

This service is very pathetic although we are forced to contribute to it monthly - I see no point in paying UIF if we cannot claim.

NO UIF AFTER 5 MONTHS

After another month has come and go I still haven't received any payout or answers as to why this is taking so long. Every time you phone, they are either off line, or they will send a request and you must wait another 7 days, or you must check after a month. This is our money and now we need to beg for it. Is there anyone that can help to sort this matter out, as I have already lost everything I have worked for. I am a single mother and really are in need of this funds urgently.

Uif

After delaying to pay my Uif they paid me for only temp jobs and did not pay for my contribution at NCM a company I worked for for 5 years. Vincent the manager of Boksburg has always turned a blind eye to all my complaints and when I went to braamfontein sebonelo did not even bother to listen to my complain but took me to the finance manager who couldn't really help coz it's not her role. The next day sebonelo refused to come meet me at reception and told me to wait for someone from operations to come and help. I waited for an hour n no one came to help
I have not had a salary for two months meaning I did not pay school fees n my bond for two months. I want my money n also a letter that exempt me from ever paying Uif coz what is the point of paying into a fund that does not help in time of need

UIF Claim

I only want to claim for 2 months UIF. I stopped working in January, but as I thought I will get a job in the same month I did not go to claim for January. Which I accept. Then I went 4 times to UIF in Kempton Park where they every time give me another reason why I still can't apply for UIF. I asked them to give me all the forms and things that needs to be completed one time, because they are causing a delay. Then obviously I needed to get the UI19 from older companies I don't even have all the contacts for anymore. With them only completing the forms I finally got my documents submitted in March. When application is submitted they asked me to come and sign first time on 14/04/2016. I did then go on 14/04/2016 and then my claim was rejected.

Now finally with all this issue, I found a job begin April. They do not want to pay me for February because my application is only done in February, but because of their delaying me and telling me what the issue is.

Every time I have to stand 4am in the queue to get assistance and only get half a story. Then you go back and they want to pay you because of their delays because of the application date and not from the last employment date.

UIF CLAIM

I HAVE APPLIED FOR MY UIF 4 MONTHS AGO AND HAD NO JOY SLOW SERVICE AND NO INDICATION AS TO WHERE TO GO OR WHAT TO DO ONCE U ARE @ THERE OFFICES IN PTA THIS IS A TERRABLE SERVICE AND EVERY ONE COMPLAINS
I REALY HOPE TO SORT THIS OUT BUT AFTER 5 VISITS TO THERE OFFICE AND SPENDING THE HOLE DAY THERE

Complain about unpaid uif benefit I have apply on the 22december 2015 for uif after my son was born at the kempton park branch .

I have. Applied for uif benefit at the kemp ton park branch from 22december2015 till today I have not received nothing from the the uif. When I go to the kemp ton park they kept on saying come back month end and it went on and on until I went back to work .what is the reason of applyin for uif if you I pregnant if you will not get anything . uif claim still in progress

I have submitted my claim on the 3rd March said I must come back on the 5th April when I went there they said nothing has been done I need to come back on the 5th may so my worry is as per sms I received it said it takes 35 days to complete a claim so why the delay, i,m currently unemployed with two children bills are piling up, i,m currently unemployed and looking for a job so maybe you don't have enough employees please consider people like us so we can help you with claims people are really in need of that money otherwise they wouldn't send a claim, please we beg of you to speed up the process Case No : 10003789403

UIF Claim payment still not paid

Case Number 10003967065

After a long and tedious process of registering an online profile for UIF, I finally managed to submit a digital form to claim unemployment. My claim has been with the paymaster since the 7th April, but I have not yet received any payment!!
I have sent several emails since the 13th April, but NO ONE responds...I CC'd in all email addresses that is put on the Department of Labour's website for complaints and queries, and still NO ONE responds.
All people claiming have paid UIF promptly every month, but why are we not paid our claims??
All of us are being put in very difficult situations because the Department of Labour is ineffective in doing their jobs.
Can someone please sort out this problem and make sure that we are paid our claims?

UIF Claim not paid

Good day

Does anyone apart from the complainants actually read this complaint board? These stories don't reflect well, not only on the Department of Labour of South Africa, but on the entire government!
I have sent several emails for one week long and had no response. That's not good, especially since the Department of Labour website states that I will receive answers within 24 hours of my emails.
I registered for an online UIF profile. This process has taken two months. After I eventually managed to download the digital form and submitted it, it was sent to an assessor from whom I heard nothing. I then submitted a continuation of payment form 30 days later, and it has been with the paymaster since the 7th April.
How long does it take to pay a claim? By when can I expect the payment to be in my bank account?
By not doing their jobs, the Department of Labour put hundreds, probably even thousands of people in very difficult situations which makes it even harder to get back on one's feet.
All of us who have put in a claim have paid our UIF contributions promptly every month. Why are we not paid our claims????

Unpaid UIF

My son applied for UIF In January 2016 and was approved. He was told to check his bank account in 5 to 10 working days thereafter. Till today 4 months later (21 April 2016) and after numerous attempts to the Newcastle Labour Department, nothing has been received. He has been evicted from his flat and car repossessed today. Can someone please help him urgently to see what happened to his benefits that are now owed to creditors.

UNPAID UIF SINCE JANUARY

I have applied on the 4th of January 2016, as I was retrenched in December 2015. I am a single mom and have nothing to provide for my two kids. I have been going to the Randfontein Offices once a week for the past 4 months, still I am waiting. No house, no food, no clothes, how must we survive, when we need to pay every month it is deducted and we do not have a choice, but when we need to claim, and this is for our own money worked for, we need to wait forever, and first need to lose everything before someone cares. Where can we go, where can we find help, as no one wants to help and just gives the same answer over and over again, follow up next week. Really we need to pay for transport to get there, and we don't get any answers from no one. HELP PLEASE!!!!

unpaid maternity uif

I would like assistance on my maternity uif as I have been messed around for 3 months now.
I applied for my maternity uif at the labour department in Kempton park.I had all my documents ready and in place and was told I must wait 4 weeks for payment.since then I have visited the department 4 timed due to incorrect messages been sent to me saying my claim was rejected only to be told the system was done and the message is incorrect and I must come back next month.I feel that as a south African citizen who works hard to support my family and I am a single mother who is not receiving a cent maternity pay from employer that this is just so unfair.we pay the money every month why is it so hard to give us the little due to us.I feel if I am not assisted soon then I will take it to another level as I am tired of spending money I don't have to travel back and fourth to the labour department. Maternity Claim

I have applied for my UIF in September 2015, till date I have not received any money. When I called the call centre I was told my UI-19 form was not captured which I had mailed to two different people on two different occasions. Now no one answers the call centre numbers, no one replies to mails. I have mailed a few of the Gauteng office but no one replies.

How long must we wait to be paid out?
When will the people employed to do their work start to work?

Not acceptable at all!

Retirement Claim - 10003738293

I retired at the end of January 2016. 1 have completed all necessary forms. I receive SMSadvising I have been rejected in February. I went in to UIF only to be told SMS was sent in error and I have not been rejected. I am then informed I must go to room 2 and sign so that payout can be processed. On 4 April I do so and complete UI-6A. This is the second one I have completed. I am told to return 9 May to sign again. To date have not received any monies. UIF do not answer phones so I cannot query when I will start receiving monies or received assistance in this matter

unpaid maternity benefits

I applied for maternity benefits at the Randburg branch at the beginning of february (case number 10003621087),a week later I received an sms informing me that there are documents outstanding(even though I submitted everything)

I then went to the branch in Brits to enquire where I was told that my documents were not all captured on the system and I should go back to Randburg and re-submit,I did as advised and was told to wait 3-4 weeks and the money will be in

Up until now I still haven't received any payment from the department.Its really
frustrating queuing for 3hours with a baby and you are being told the same excuse, i have been calling as well and the phone is forever busy or not being answered

My leave is unpaid and I have no income whatsoever,my baby's needs have to be met,rent and other bills have to be paid and I was relying on the uif payment only to be disappointed

This is totally unacceptable because the uif contribution is deducted every month without any problems,it would be nice if I can also receive the money that is legally due to me

I am typing this in the hope that i would get some urgent assistance.

Please see my query below, your urgent attention and assistance will be highly appreciated in this matter. This is a major concern for my family that the monies are still outstanding since July 2015,i have expenses that need to be paid.

Please see below the details of my UIF claim till date, should i include the full story i might as well write a book.
My daughter is 9 months and till date i have not received a single cent.

The people that have been working at Sandton surely they should know all the information you require for application, each time i went it was something new that was missing and a new person helping me. On my 5th visit to the Sandton branch my documents where submitted on there system on 14 October 2015.
I received a page with contact numbers to call them 6-8weeks
On the 27 November 2015,I went to the offices after this time and was told another 2-4 weeks. You call their numbers no answer, they tell you to hold only to drop the call on you. .(011 444 7631), they might as well disconnect this line.

I had gone back to work on 1 December and nearly impossible for me to take time off as i just started.
07 December 2015 i started contacting Carien Geldenhuis and Rachel Ncube( Branch manager and supervisor),See attached emails sent
First they couldn’t pick up my UI2.8 which they said i never submitted. I ask you after being sent back 5 times you really think they would have submitted my claim without this document? Seeing that this was the original i had to go back to the bank refill and then submit. The 11 December 2015 the offices closed for the festive period. I only received feedback on 13 January 2016 again the same story about UI2.8. They claim was approved paid and reversed due to incorrect banking details. The ladies at first helped when they could. Then after a while just nothing. I would request for updates just nothing.

My husband when he could would check for updates on claims, he went to the branch only to find out they don't pay into joint accounts, i had my own account opened in my name on 23 February 2016 i sent the documents in. I took half day and went to the branch as a week later still nothing. Only to find out my surname has changed due to the fact that i got married. Now the labour system is linked to Home affairs, i was asked to go back to the bank redo the UI2.8 with new surname Marie and have the account changed to Marie.
I finally got all the docs from Standard after a fight there and on 18 March 2016-Bank refill UI2.8 and confirmation of account
23rd March –Submitted UI2.8,confirmation letter, copy of ID and marriage certificate to UIF. On this day i was told claims are only done from 04 April due to Financial year end. (Sandton)

I have checked since then everyday online still nothing.
May you please i beg you help me to get this claim paid, this is a huge strain on my finance as i did not receive full salary from work and have debt made during that time i still need to pay back. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME

Since 06 April i have sent emails to government officials no response,i have been to the branch today 14 April they are closed due to no water since yesterday.

I've claimed for uif January 14 2016 and I haven't got any cent even today what I got was only an sms saying my claim was rejected and I went to tzaneen Labour center to ask about that and I was told that it doesn't mean anything so ever since I've been Given endless dates to go check but nothing is happening.

UIF Claims struggle

Good day
on 26 January 2016 I went to the labour department in Bellville to apply for my U.I.F Benefits, I sat there for 3 hours only to be told by the lady at reception that the window for new applications are closed and that I need to come back again or apply online. I applied online, had to wait for 35 working days and since then has not received any sms from the assessor. When calling in on 0860 345 464 the consultants have to me that they have sent through my claim to the assessor for approval and after 10 days I have heard nothing. Every time I called its another waiting period od 10 days. The consultants cannot give me a reference number or any additional information to assist me in my frustration. Just tells me to wait on the sms from the assessor. Is there nothing that can be done to help us. I read so many similar stories and I have been struggling as many others here on this sight has. The bank is threatening to close my account already as no funds are generation through it. Case number 10003550313 is the number of my case that I got applying on Ufiling.
UFilling is suppose to make things abit easier it really is not. I am so frustrated at this system and at the lack of information that I get from the consultants as they cant even see how many different consultants have assisted me with my calls as no notes are been made on my file.

UIF CLAIM REJECTED

After trips to the Kempton Park Labour Department, with ALL my documents on hand. They verified all the forms, I was served. I registered on 28th Feb 2016, and I went to the Kempton Park Labour Department again on the 29th March 2016. After 6 hours standing I was taken to an office. I was told that everything was approved and I must wait for a sms so I can be paid.
On the 11 April I received a sms that stated “Dear XXX. UIF Claim rejected. Notice of Appeal can be submitted at a Labour Centre. Enquiries contact local Labour Centre . Case No : 10003705058. No reason why it was rejected.
Back to square one. This is the story I heard from many persons that stood with me in the line waiting to be served. I assumed they were joking but now I see they were right. Can anything be done about the non-payment of the moneys that if rightfully ours?. Can someone please help?

uif Complain

I got dismissed June 2015, applied for uif since then. I have been going to the Labour offices every month as I was given a date to come and check every month. I went there all these month and was told every time that it hasn't been approved yet. until I went to a different Labour office at a different place, only then I found out that my documents were incorrectly captured from the beginning. A lady in Germiston captured them again, but still its been three months again but Im not getting anything.

This is extremely disappointing as I believe this is my money that been paid without trouble every month and now that I would like to access it , its now a problem.

UIF Rejected for no reason

Stood in the que twice from 6am to 11am. 1st time I went I was prepared according to the UIF website with all the documents required. I even e-mailed a person at the Randburg office with regards to which documents I need to have in order. Got everything only to be sent home as I needed payslips...

Then went again stood in the que for 7 hours this time only to get an sms stating this...

Dear XXX. UIF Claim rejected. Notice of Appeal can be submitted at a Labour Centre. Enquiries contact local Labour Centre . Case No : 10003945241

With no reason as to why?
