Get rid of Viceland. It is the worst channel I have ever seen. I now hide the channel on my guide. Bring back H2!

Take that horrible ad that has the man castrating the sheep with his teeth off the air now! That alone makes me never want to watch Viceland.
You have to be pretty low to put crap like that in an ad to try to get viewers. Viceland is trash. Shame on the guy who created it. Trying to be cool to be hip, shock factor, further corrupting weak minded young people?

Whomever does the programing / decision making for History needs to star on Ancient Aliens. They are not from Earth !!!!!

Viceland is promoting things it should'nt . I like most people don't have a big problem with pot, gays, lesbians, etc. However I don't think it should be promoted to young minds like that shit is the greatest ever or if you don't want to be around gays you're a bigot. This is the kind of shit that Trumps supporters are so fired up about. Its bad enough its on but you people don't care about morality or what's right or some of the messages your sending. Me and my son used to watch H2 all the time, saw every episode of ancient aliens several times. He is grown now but if he weren't this shit channel would be blocked. I hope this shit TV loses so much money the network goes bankrupt.

I just want to say that I absolutely refuse to even turn to this channel (Viceland). I don't even want to be associated or be counted as a viewer. Even your shows names are and were trashy. Grow up. Bring back our H2.

Is this how for real ??? OMG ... just "trying" to grasp what the intentions are of this program. The one "interviewer", a guy with black horned-rim glasses needs to go back to school and re-take classes on how to interview. HORRIBLE....JUST HORRIBLE. It was a show on the "electronic dance music" in Las Vegas. This guy was UNBELIEVABLY HORRIBLE. He was so out of place there and it showed with his words. And his comments at the end..."I never want to come back here"...GREAT ! If you get someone who knows what they are talking about, then maybe ... just maybe this show would have been interesting. Who wants to hear how much $$$ these people get for playing records. More $$$ than a person who saves lives for a living. It was so boring that I put it on PAUSE and walked away. And the guy who did the piece on "weed" ... Oh please ... couldn't you find someone that really knew what questions to ask...He appeared "out of place: by his body language. Made a comment that he hopes his Mother wasn't watching or something to that effect. Then he wanted to go home...Give me a break !!! Where do these "interviewers" come from ??? And that BIG guy...the one whose language is meant for a sewer...what does he bring to the show. NOTHING. What can one get from his explanations...NOTHING. WHY is he even doing a show for Viceland. Just pure filth spewing continuously from his mouth. When you watch a show, you hope to get some benefit from it. His shows...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Any fool can jump around, curse and think it's so cute. And yet Viceland lets him continue. And the show with Michael Williams ... Newark is no Beverly Hills, but really ??? showin people with a mask to hide their faces and waving guns around like they are toys ??? What does this prove ....NOTHING. And the male and female who are gay....Fine...Great. But quit throwing it out there and bring programs that are fit to be seen. NOTHING has been "fun" to watch or even interesting. This channel would make a GREAT form of getting someone to reveal all they know. Just sit them in front of Viceland for 24 hours...you will get ALL the info you ever needed...

I loved H2, but thought what the heck, maybe Viceland will provide interesting, though provoking entertainment, similar to the old Current TV. I couldn't have been more wrong, wrong, wrong. The programs are unwatchable. Please Comcast, remove it from my channel offerings, it's a complete waste of bandwidth.

I heard my pre-teen son say "Eeeeeuuuu" as I approached his bedroom and could hear that the television was on.

When I walked into the room, there on Viceland was a cartoon of a woman putting baby carrots into her vagina. I was shocked.

Not only is this disgusting but shouldn't be on a channel that's next to the sci-fi channel on Dish when kids are looking for something like Lake Placid to watch. This "cartoon" was being shown on Dish a little after 10 p.m., (P.T.) during summer vacation when kids stay up later.

I'm calling Dish to demand that this channel be removed OR that "pornographic" crap like this should not be aired until 2 a.m. Pacific Time.

I wish all of you complainers who are disgusted, like I am, would go to the source of the problem....such as Dish or Directtv and let them know we don't want this kind of GARBAGE as a part of our programming.

I pay over $100/month and don't expect this kind of low-life offerings to be shown.

I can never unsee the blistering blight that is Viceland programming. Like an unfaithful wandering lover, History Channel replaced H2 with an infected new doll of the day leaving us both permanently damaged. Viceland has achieved a new low in human culture. It is the nadir of human unacomplishment and if broadcast into outer space will assure our eventual destruction at the hands of an advanced alien race who wishes to humanely put us out of our misery. Even though I have stopped watching, the pain and discomfort returns in periodic flashback episodes that remind me of the damage done by this horrific broadcasting decision.

I can just imagine the meeting when they conjured up this waste of airspace. Picture a bunch of non-millennials - like Vice CEO Shane Smith and Spike Jonze who are both 46 - sitting around a table in their ironic t-shirts and lumberjack beards sipping pumpkin spice lattes patting themselves on the back for how they are are going to be the voice of millennials.

Saw all the awesome and exciting commercials of viceland channel. Love the concept. Big fan of reality shows, naked and afraid, gold rush, when Im drunk and totally braindead, party down south. This is where I am coming from. Anthony Bourdain is my hero and dream job.

Fast forward... Then I come to what seems like a killer introduction to viceland. I watch dead set on life..
Love the vibe, the food, the territory, very Anthony Bourdain esque.. I pause to evaluate...

I'm going out on a limb to guess you guys were on the fence for a host. I will go as far to say it's a manager or producers relative. I don't even know his name or where he came from but I saw him on the episode with bikers.. He looked so awkwardly out of place and just so completely phoney. I would fire this guy so quickly it's crazy. He is fake, clueless and out of touch. Are his tattoos even real, or are they cgi'd in? Get some down to earth guys like booze travelers or in your most $$ dreams Bourdain... But whoever picked who they did, this guy... I'm sure they had absolute power and yiu were forced to agree but seriously, he's fake, he sucks, he needs to go. I can't speak for everyone bit I wish I could, my background says I should. But yeah. Please, please, please, and I don't like anyone getting let go... But please! Let this poser go! Dignity and continued viewership depend on it!

Viceland is the worst channel i have seen, even worst then LMN. I literally lost half my tv time due to the loss of H2. Shame on the money hungry execs of A&E.

I am completely disgusted with the idea of something so vile as Viceland replacing H2. Satan babies, chicken embryos, kids fighting.....seriously?? Take a good look at yourselves and what kind of vile you are representing!

This so-called "edgy" and "unconventional" channel plays movies like "The Big Lebowski" and "Lost Highway"--two movies riddled with course language, and or nudity--and they beep out the course language and blur out the nudity. There was another Tarantino movie (I dont recall which one) where every other word was a swear, and I had to turn it off because it was way too annoying and hard to follow. Look up on Google how many times the f-bomb was dropped in "TBL". None of the sentences even made sense--it just sounded like a goddamn microwave beeping sporadically. What's the bloody point airing them? In the late hours, even lame ass CBC has all manner of exposed body parts and no sensorship of language.

On the other extreme end of the spectrum, does anyone remember Showcase in the 90s and Fridays Without Borders? Sorry, but 20 years ago the envelope was pushed way beyond this poseur, hipster, wannabe-groundbreaking sorry excuse for a cable channel that they call Viceland. All sorts of potsmoking dough heads and shitty reality shows that make "The Real Housewives of __________" appear educational by comparison.

If you are going to censor everything, just put Disney on. Might as well have Ned Flanders as the program director. All these tough-guy movies and yet they blur out someone flipping the bird. Imagine a choir in church singing AC/DC's "Hell's Bells". It sounds atypical, but not as ridiculous as changing the words into "Heck's Bell's" or "Heaven's Bells". Family Channel might as well air "The Big Lebowski"; Viceland can air Disney movies.

So cutting edge.

Bring back H2, the muppets who made the decision dont realize what a great channel it was! Missing all the great shows.

Viceland, the name itself is garbage I would watch reruns of H2 shows rather than watch any shows from Vice. Huang's world? What's so special about it? I would rather watch Cooking Channel or Food Network than that.

Crazy crap!

From the start, Viceland was a mess. I tuned in during the countdown to launch and it seemed like only potheads and the mentally ill were calling in. Even the people taking the calls were like WTF and they really had no choice but to air the calls even when prerecorded because so many of them were insulting and ignorant that the best of the best were still insulting.

The ratings for Viceland have been some of the worst in cable history and the programs are even regarded as horrible by the target audience.

The History Channel itself has lost vision of what it's about and it's biggest successes have been shows like Vikings which are set in historic settings... something any moron could have told you was possible for a network based on History trying to find a more entertaining and ratings success formula. History provides a bounty of possibilities for successful shows and it in no way would take away from the existing format with shows that are more documentary styled.

Of course, the History Channel didn't make the decision to create Viceland as the History Channel itself is owned by the parent company that made this decision based on the same flawed thinking that we saw in the 1970's when the Big Three networks abandoned ratings popular shows like Beverly Hillbillies for programming they thought would bring in a younger audience more willing to part with a dollar for what advertisers had to sell so the networks could charge more for advertising. Instead, ratings fell, viewership dropped off and while they charged more for advertising, by the mid 70's they had to make numerous adjustments to save face and create new programs centered on regaining lost viewership.

Viceland promised new advertising so that the parent company took a chance... they bought into the Titanic and hit an iceberg.

Time for A&E to admit this has been a colossal blunder and take any financial losses it has incurred, bring back H2 and evolve it into the World History Channel possibly in order to save face.

Retain one channel for a more traditional History Channel lineup and the other for a focus more on entertainment set in historic settings... that's where you should have gone and programs like Vikings prove this had anyone at A&E possessed any real vision for developing programming.

So, it's time for heads to roll as the people responsible for Viceland deserve to be fired and some real talent be brought in to run these two networks who understands what History and History based programming are about!

Not only have I taken Viceland off my channel lists but I've pretty much stopped watching the History channel with the exception of DVRing 10 hours a year for Vikings. I've actually realized how fake the reality shows are on the History channel. I used to use H2 as my staring point and comeback channel if nothing was on. Unfortunately, there's no more history on the History Channel. Cancell Viceland, fire the team that had the foolishness to market to a demographic that doesn't spend money or lose even more viewership. Looks like it's Netflicks for that fix.

H2 was a great channel. I watched it daily. It always had something interesting on. Now I don't even watch History Channel I just skim past it. The only time I watch is during Vikings season and the 3 hours per week that Ancient Aliens is on. I'm 29 years old so I guess that makes me a millennial and that is who the Vice channel is supposed to be marketed to. I can tell you right now that channel is unwatchable. I'm sure plenty of the lazy no good pot smoking cry about anything offended by everything want everything to be free because they think they deserve it just for being alive millennials absolutly love it. That being said,it's all crap. I've tried to watch a few things and I just find myself angry that such trash is on TV. I may be out of line but the whole channel just seems like propaganda to make young people think more highly of themselves. It promotes a fantasy world where everyone is equal and deserves the same amount of money praise and attaboys even when they haven't worked hard or done anything to deserve it. The whole channel is like a participation trophy of TV. I understand History Channel didn't turn H2 into Vice,I know it's A&European that controls that,but for the love of God bring H2 back. It doesn't have to be one or the other,keep Vice if it's a money maker for them and just give us H2 back.
