You guys should have talked to Coke and asked them how it works to replace a proven lineup with something "New" and so much better because it might be appealing to the younger crowd.

Here's some ideas, replace the regular History with the following:

a 24/7 live feed following the Bernie Sanders campaign. Young peeps are gonna love it! It will be the coolest thing since aerosol spray can cheese.

come to Colorado and film people smoking weed all day. Its cool and legal... except that federal law supersedes state, but who cares, a little executive action will take care of that! Cool, Awesome, Hip

or, what about a documentary series on the chinese national badminton team. certainly more interesting than the crap on viceland and just think of the broad and expanding audience you'll be reaching.

The Vice channel is pure Trash! I am now paying for another Dish Channel that is too terrible to watch.
You did us all a disservice by removing the H2 Channel.

Vicland is absolutely horrible. I used to leave my TV on H2 pretty much all day it was the only channel I really ever watched and I looked forward to seeing what was on when I got home from work and now it has been replaced by the far left whiney hipster crap. YOU SUCK! Who ever did this.

There is nothing even remotely enticing on vice. Can't stand it and will never tune it again. Will make sure everyone knows that it's crap.

The History channel is just as bad. I do not care about pawn shops, southern swamps, pickers, restoration, ice truckers, or any of that.

I became a fan of The History channel for HISTORY! From last year to as far back as we can find information. About romans, aliens, governments, wars, the solar system, global warming, plants, animals and people.

History channel failed and H2 was the only place to find it. Now that's gone and a travesty put in it's place. 16 year Olds are not going to tune in. I hope vice dies quickly!

By eliminating H2, one of my favorite channels really helped me save money by cancelling my Directv - A&E package of channels. Thank you for saving me money!!!

When I first saw the announcements, I was a little excited, but after tuning in occasionally for the past few weeks, I have changed my opinion to a WTF? stance.

I am not a prude by any means, and have smoked my fair share of the herb, I like music, and love to eat novel foods, but this programming has nothing for me.

This is a horrible channel. I LOVE the History channels when it has historical shows on and to replace that kind of great programming with this crap is what makes consumers want to be allowed to CHOSE the channels we PAY for. Instead, I have to pay for this garbage, which I DON'T watch and have no interest in watching. I have now set my defaults to skip this channel because even surfing past it depresses me.

Viceland is a horrible product whoever come up with this is terrible .Not only did you take a good show off with H2 that actually taught kids stuff and put on junk really !

Not only is Viceland a horrible commentary on our society if The History Channel thinks this is what people want to see but it replaced some actually interesting shows. On regular History Channel we get hours of Swamp People, Vikings & iron workers. All ok for an hour but an entire night of shows? Seriously, where is Ancient Aliens, Modern Marvels, etc, shows with interest & an opportunity to learn something & be entertained. Please bring back the shows we loved & what made you a popular channel. As it is now I'll find something else to watch, you have lost another good customer.

It was quite disappointing to look for our favorite "educational and mind stimulating" programs on H2 and instead find someone spaced out smoking a big bong with nothing intelligent to say. Viceland is a good name for it, glorifying- gangs and drugs and a pack of losers. Block your kids from watching this channel. Yes I agree too H2 was the best of all time and Viceland is the worst of all time! I've never even viewed the channel because the titles are more than enough to say they are not worth watching! If you have to keep vice at least move it to a different channel or whatever u gotta do just as long as you bring back the H2 channel!

I agree: Viceland is awful. Several people have created petitions on change.org and thepetitionsite.com They are aimed at A&E, asking to have H2 back. I don't know if it will help, but I have signed a few of them. Also, in case no one else mentioned it, the Hearst Corp. and Disney are part owners of A&E, so you can also write to them.

Horrible decision. I skip over this channel when flipping through. It is literaly filled with crap shows. You should realy be ashamed of your decision.

What does gaycation and hipster documentary shows have to due with history? Whoever made that decision should be fired. I put up with some of the shows on H2 trying to rewrite history, at least they were still somewhat entertaining. The stuff on viceland is not even watchable... Good job history channel. They have already quit teaching America history in school. Now our kinds can not even learn history from the history channel. Do you comprehend how f___ed up that is... I will also be filing a complaint with Directv for a refund for the history channel that I should be getting. History channel you have lost a very loyal customer and viewer...

Who's idea was it to replace H2 with Viceland? Out of hundreds of channels, H2 was one of the few I actually enjoyed watching. Not only was I disappointed to see it leave, but what replaced it is nothing but garbage! My 13 year old granddaughter used to watch H2 with us. I can only imagine her turning the channel on at home, only to find some show called "Gaycation", Balls Deep, or *uck That's Delicious! This is part of what's wrong with the World today! Extremely disappointed!

Two things first, Viceland is a very offensive channel that looks like a youtube production. It reeks of desperation on the part of your company and I for one, am disappointed. Two you stated that all of our favorite programs were moving to History, however not one of them has. As far as I can tell you just cancelled all the good H2 Shows and replaced them with garbage. But you made my decision to cancel cable television an easy one to make for me. I hope you enjoy your new stoner buddies.
