Why? Why in the world you you get rid of a great channel like H2 and replace it with vile garbage? I'll dump my current DTV subscription down two notches as that was the only reason I had it. Vice should be called Vile.

there is no redeeming social value (or any other value) in the new vice channel. there were things on h2 i didn't watch (such as ancient aliens) but it did have some great programs. You can't find much of them on the history channel which is preoccupied with series such as ice road truckers and pawn stars. Please please bring back h2.

How can you replace one of the most education channels on TV with a channel dedicated to glorifying drugs and low life scum. I am a millennial which is vicelands target audience. I pray that others like me take one look at this load of shit they are trying to shovel and never watch the channel again. Way to contribute to societies decline A&E. Why would anyone take away one of the last educational channels that we have? It has always sparked interest and conversations at home and in the work place. We are left with the History channel that has nothing to do with history. Without H2 how are we gonna learn unbiased History in our homes? Bring back H2 For the love of American history and world history!

I want H2 back. Viceland sucks and I miss my H2. Viceland has nothing good to watch and takes up good space on my guide.

Since the addition of Viceland from A&E and backed with money from Disney, I'm not suprised that Disney raised most of the rates in their parks. This Viceland that they stuffed down every cable/satellite providers throat is going to tank, big time. If you have Disney stock, it's going to take a hit, probably like the gas prices. We need to demand that History Channel 2 return since it is still on in over 60 other markets and send the creator of Viceland and the whole channel to the outhouse!

I will be complaining to everyone involved with the airing of Viceland, and I will not stop until H2 is back on Cable.

Keeps the complaints going out to your local cable/satellite companies, A&E, Disney and Hearst Corporation. I notice that A&E's email mailbox has been full for some time. They are not liking our response, too bad. Remember, facebook, telephones and email.....Keep them all up until they return H2. I notice that a lot of the community websites for the different cable and satellite companies have rebranded hacks that work for the company but act like they are just regular viewers, but they are not. You'll be able to tell by how many posts they have, how they always take the company line etc. Just ignore them and keep posting on their sites and don't let the hackers bother you. If we work together, maybe they'll transfer the idiot that dreamed up this Viceland channel to cleaning toilets.

Remember, call, email or facebook your local cable/satellite providers and let them know you do not like the trash new channel, Viceland. You want H2 returned. Yes, it can be returned if we all contact the right people. A&E produces the show, but A&E is owned by Disney and the Hearst Corporations. Flood their facebook, email and telephones with complaints against this Viceland. THE WILL BE THE ONLY WAY WE CAN GET THEM TO BRING BACK H2 IN THE U.S. MARKET.

Really? VICE is better than H2? TV is just getting dumber and dumber. Who exactly is A&E targeting? Trump voters? Deleted DirecTv channel 271 from my lineup. Ever wonder why cable/satellite is dying? This is why!

I am simply requesting to either get the channel returned or provide H2 on an alternate channel. I really don't care what the motives were or who influenced the decision but I feel that the vice channel could have been introduced better to an audience more likely to appreciate it. If it were to appear in the 240's of the Direct TV channel selection, it would have made much more sense by demographic. LOGO (270 dtv) should be moved too. I have always appreciated being able to click through the upper 260's through 287 on Dtv knowing there was only one lousy channel that healthy, intelligent knowledge, and discernment could be derived. Moves like this make me want to eliminate PACKAGE TV altogether and get the shows/channels I desire per diem. I have already found myself online watching shows and the next step is to make my TV a 2nd monitor. I doubt this was your intention, however, if it was, it's really dissapointing. Regardless of the intention, the elimination of my favorite channel has made me care less about television altogether.

I wish that who ever yanked the H2 channel had small children in the home so they could explain the content of the shows they now call entertainment. The channel is nothing more than pure junk and nothing more. I don't care to watch nor does anyone in my family care to watch this garbage. The person who calls this entertainment might call watching food decay or even the contents of the septic system in my backyard breakdown the human waste. I would like to have H2 back and you guys remove this nonsense at once.

I originally got direct TV because I absolutely love History 2 channel. Now I can't get it. Why can't you leave a good thing alone. VICE IS HORRIBLE. The regular History channel is ridiculous also. Pawn stars, American Pickers, Ax men are of no interest to me. I loved life without people, ancient history, prehistoric history, history of the president , history of our country. Why can't you bring these back?...........I will never watch vice or a lot of other reality shows you are showing. I am so disappointed.

What gets me is,

VICE is terrible!! I cannot believe anyone would think this is any kind of comparable replacement for H2. This makes me want to cancel my subscription and not watch tv. Since Disney is part owner of the A&E channel, I have included the email address to Roger Iger, CEO of Disney. Email him and complain that his organization, that caters to children, is now helping to produce filth under the A&E banner with the Viceland channel. Demand that A&E return the H2 (History Channel 2) in the U.S.
