This complaint makes sense to me. The OP is having trouble getting the refrigerator fixed under the extended warranty. That's a common complaint.

In October, 2011, while getting ready to fix dinner, I pressed the 'light' button which is on the microwave keypad, I received a shock that ran down my arm, there was a flash and the light did not come on...

Called Sears toll free number and was unable to contact opt. depart. Finally made the one hour trip to Owensboro, Ky. to find out and correct glasses. Instantly, tech. informed me the bi-fo where not there, way too short. I requested they be corrected, she contacted the district mgt. and she said 'no'...

Ordered a computer monitor on sears. com and called back the very next day to cancel. Sears. com, though charged my card, but refused to do anything and referred me to the supplier. I called all day to the supplier and only got busy signal. On 03/10/11 Sears Credit Cards deducted an unauthorized amount of $850. 00 from my checking account, as opposed to deducting the authorized amount of $35. 00. After discovering this unauthorized deduction, I filed a fraudulent claim with Horizon bank against Sears. Sears deposited $815. 41 into my checking account on 03/18/11, On 03/15/11, Sears made a second unauthorized deduction from my account in the amount of $850...

I purchased all new Sears Kenmore appliances spending thousands of dollars from late 2008 until early 2009 and have nothing but isses with each of them from day one. The biggest issue by far has been the front end washer we purchased in 2008. The Sears in Ocala, Florida is just as awful. I think from now on my family and friends will be paying a little more to ensure we get the quality product AND SERVICE we pay for.
