Celcom had over charge my above prepaid no excessively.
It is not accordance to my prepaid package sign.
celcom charge me RM 4.28 Sen for 30 minit call for recent call.
This also happen to previous call.

Signal line less than 1 bar

Signal line show at my hp less than 1 bar at my home. As a result,nobody can call me. When they tried to contact me,no ring tone but imnediately my hp show missed call signal. Is it true,people said that is because I subscribed the cheapest package i.e RM38 per month including 3GB data and 50 minutes calling time. Tq.

CELCOM Data Roaming

It seems like I am not the only VICTIM... Go Singapore for one day (~9 am to ~8 pm) with data roaming OFF, but you will get charge for two days (the second day will be charged at 12 AM Midnight, customer service mentioned that it is still possible got charged after leaving Singapore, but I am actually more than 100 km away from Singapore at the time, still can get roaming, really fantastic!!!).
It never happen last year, but it happens almost every time when I went Singapore. No choice, I have to cancel all roaming services (including voice), and found troublesome, now have change my line.

DATA ROAMING CHARGES WHEN THE BUTTON IS OFF!!

Never expect that Celcom will simply charge the Data Roaming at all!! This morning my phone was barred and i called up the centre to check what's going on, it's because my payment due and over the limit. The staff told me that the remaining balance for April is RM250++ the problem is why is it so much!! They said after deducted the RM84++ i paid on 29 March to changed the plan, remaining is RM182 (include RM152 for data roaming). I asked when i use the date, they replied during my vacation to HK early April. THE PROBLEM IS I WAS USING THE LOCAL SIM CARD FOR DATA, NEVER TURN ON THE DATA ROAMING BUTTON. How it work when the button is off!! I said i'm not going to pay for the RM152, but only the RM30 and what they replied is i'm sorry that you need to pay minimum RM100 to active back your line. RIDICULOUS!!!

Celcom First Plan

Unclear package, no contract and no billing

When sign-up, was told there would be no contract. After signed up, not really used it due to coverage issue, thought it would be terminated by itself as told. There were no bills received in between, and no notification about pending payment through any means e.g. email, notice, etc.

After 7-9 months suddenly received a notice about outstanding of more than RM300.00.

The questions are:

1) Why no bills / statements? How do they expect payment to be done without bills / statements?
2) Why no notification in between for months, and suddenly told about outstanding of more than RM300.00?

Is this the right practice? Feeling disappointed and cheated.

Data Roaming charges when Mobile data is off

Another victim here. I've been using the same phone for 2 years & in the past 2 years, i nvr been charged with data roaming fees when I was abroad with my data off. In Feb'16, it was my first time getting this charges then followed by Mar'16 when I was abroad. All the rubbish reasons given like what other victims shared here when I complain to CS. I think with this level of fraudulent data roaming charges, it's enough to make Celcom another spot light soon after Maxis if they failed to settle this issue wisely & professionally

Celcom 3G speed close to standstill

I ported from DG to Celcom to take the advantage of Celcom First Gold RM80 and also to purchase an Iphone , and I instantly regretted. The Celcom 3g/internet is so slow that my pages are not loading and in most of the time , disconnected. I've tried with all sort of browsers , Safari , Chrome , Opera mini and Firefox , none is working fine. Same goes to my FB app news feed. The news feed only load the top 3-4 feeds (one screen full) and when you further scroll down its loading take ages.

I called their customer service , he connected me to Technical Dept and the technician told me to perform a simple 'Reset Network Setting' on my iphone , reboot my phone and check the speed. Open my Chrome and still the pages arent loading. The technician gave me a report number and promised me somebody will call me within 3 days or else the technician himself will be in contact with me. But today is the 4th day and nobody called.

Back in 2000s , Celcom was so great and it's coverage was the widest in the country and such is the sorry state of Celcom today.

If my connection is not fix by this weekend , I'm porting out and will tell everyone I know or I dont know to avoid Celcom like a plague.

PS, the free Yonder Music app sucks.

Celcom Network & Customer Service is Very Bed

Dear management, i have sign up this First Gold Plan 2 months plus, Celcom network coverage is really bad, & it service is bad too! Since last week i have make 3 times report to the customer service that mentioning i don't have any network in my office even i cant receive call, & SMS. The customer servcie promise they will check and call me back & arrange their technician to do verification in my office. Until now i have yet to receive a single call form celcom, when i call the customer service back to check regarding my network issue, they are just mentioning it has been solve. How come the network is still not here but celcom is claim the issue has solve? what is the customer service doing? i just need the necessary to be done to solve my network issue. Please help!

No Network in my working area

Dear management, i have sign up this First Gold Plan about 2 months plus, Celcom network coverage is really bad, & it service is bad too! Since last two weeks i have make 3 times report to the customer service that mentioning i don't have any network in my office even i cant receive call, & SMS. CELCOM Mobile Data Roaming SCAM

My Apr2016 statement show I have data roaming on 12Apr, 13 Apr, 14 Apr, 15Apr and 16 Apr. In actual situation, I have only open my phone Samsung Note 3 mobile data roaming on 15Apr. I have print screen for data usage tracking on my phone to proof on this. and I have file complaint report to Celcom and SKMM. Wait for their reply.

I am using Mxxxx before, no such thing happen to me.

10G Plan

I recently sign up for the new pakckage, which offered 10G of internet quota.. However the service was very poor and i can't access the internet.. The internet indication even appeared to be LTE, but unfortunately there's no such thing. I was so dissapointed. This situation has been drag over this week and I almost lost my patience. I even considered to change back to my previous package, even it is just 3G of internet quota but the services was better than this.

Data services

My phone is abroad most of the time and when I come back to malaysia with mobile data off I still get chargedfor 3G and GPRS. Just like other complaints here they give me stupid excuses. Just because I have a smart phone and apps. How can this be with mobile data off? When I request data to be turned off at network level they said they can't do it but instead try to sell me a data plan. It's the worst network ever! So they will allow those under age to access unsuitable data without control?? I would not recommend this network to anyone.

Charges on roaming service even though mobile data was off

Basically my complaint to celcom is the same as most of the complaints listed here.Went to china without turning on my mobile data and yet i was charged for 5 days roaming services. Called to celcom and they said they can only know what happen once my bill is out. Stupid answer that i had ever heard in my life. Anyhow will proceed the complaint to cfm once my bill is out.

Very poor service

Dear celcom, your service has been really bad lately. Some of us subscribed to your provided plan for our company. Most of us use it. Lately,3 months or so, your service here really is unstable. Signal is always not available. Some of us considered to change to another network provider. I think more people will do so as another network signal here is much better than yours. Celcom used to have good service here, But now, it is really bad.

Daily Data Roaming Charges

Is Celcom going to bankrupt? Why so desperately to cheap customer money. I was oversea for 11 days and being charged for 5 days data roaming. All the while i was abroad i dont have this kind of issue. When I made an inquiry through Celcom online chat, i was told "Smart phone tend to auto triggers the mobile data when you are using wifi. It Is most advisable for you to take out the card if you want to surf internet while abroad". In that case, I have to remove simcard then why i still need international roaming. When i argue with them, they said data roaming dont need to subscribe when you are on the preferred network. However from the Celcom website, it stated clearly, a sms will be sent when data roaming has been successful activated which i didnt received such sms.( Please take note that, after i made the complaint, Celcom has take down this from the website, however i manage to screenshot before it been removed. You may use this screenshot as an evidence to CFM or SKMM)

I have made a complaint to CFM, hopefully they can help to resolve my case else i am going to further my complaint to SKMM.

POOR SERVICE

I dont know whats wrong with celcom. As i know, i PAY for using internet/data plan EVERY MONTH,but service provided had been worse to worst. dear celcom, with respect, if u think u cant give your best, just go. you dont need to force and fight in this business if you have no capability. Service means service.u cant escape. WE PAY FOR IT. ITS NOT FREE. To be honest, celcom network around here really sucks.idgfc if u dont want to make it better, as i can change to the other company that can provide me better service. but u might need to realize, if more than 50% people around here losing their faith to your conpany, they may have family outside,people will talk about your service, and lastly all of them will switch to other network. who cares? All i care is my money which im using to pay for this horrible service.

Data Roam Fraudulent Charge

Original Situation : Monhtly Data plan
* charged with data roam charged even though our data roam is turned off, called to complained.
* resort to turning off even LOCAL MOBILE data whenever we are near to malaysia customs when travelling to singapore, still get charged with Data roam! Called to complained.
* celcom suggested we delete our APN etc before reaching border, so we did that (so troublesome when we return to malaysia and have to reset all the APN again) I asked them to "shut" the data roam option in their back end, they say cannot because our autoroam for phone calls is on.
* GAVE UP and cancelled our monthly data plan charge.

Now Situation: Using Wifi Tongle
* celcom has wifi tongle, so I asked them - Wifi tongle do not have auto roam function correct? do not have data roam function correct?
when there is no network, it will just have no connection, it will NOT jump to maxis or digi, and near border, it will not jump to M1 right? they reply yes.
* 1 month, it was ok. but for past 2 months, I am being charged 100-200 for data roam again!
* This is a LOCAL WIFI TONGLE! How can it still jump network to overseas network???????? Locally when no celcom network, i don't see it jump to maxis or digi? how come it will just jump to M1????
* how does people who work at the border manage their data? Which provider does not have this problem?
I am giving up on celcom, because until now nobody has come back to me on my feedback!
My data roam charge for something i did not use, is SO MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE than my monthly data plan!!!! Makes no sense!

Data usage charges

Complain on celcom. My phone bill last month was more than a thousand ringgit. Celcom has charged me for roaming charges of rm 38 per day when I am in Singapore even though I never activate my phone bill. The acct manager for celcom even asked me to be patient and will investigate and said he will put my direct debit payment on hold but I was still charged this month. The problem lies in M1 Singapore and if you choose Singtel I think there is not an issue. Would like to get advise from fellow sufferers in same boat on how to bring Celcom to shame on this ?

Celcom fraudulent charges data roaming

After review all the complaint of celcom fraudulently charges data roaming. I just notice I'm not the only one victim. I have make a lot complain case at the customer service center, but no body can answer why off cellular data on the phone can charge data roaming on my account. Their just know trust on their error system, never try find out what the mistake done by their network. I be force to pay this unreasonable charge to avoid barring line. I am celcom user more than 8yr and working at Singapore more than 10yr. This fraud charger on data roaming since last month. I hope celcom can find out their mistake. If I still can't get satisfy answer, I will keep complaint at skmm.gov.my.

fraudulently charge data raoming

This is my 2nd complaint here. Not sure should I feel glad or regret that more people are complaining of having the exact problem that I did. Celcom is blood sucker. They ignore all the facts and evidence I provide and all they know is to tell you "the charges is valid"! I wish we are having dispute with Bank as BNM is a respected and strong enforcement body where banks will respond quick in order not to get unnecessary attention from BNM.
Unfortunately this is telco problem and I wonder if MCMC has to equally strong enforcement and regulatory power on all telco.
Celcom just don't border and even after my line barred, the usage and bill continue to escalate. What logic is that? Best part is you have no avenue to speak out and we are left in reactive position to waiting for their call and email, where we cant call them proactively.
Always ask you to wait for the bill and cant check details if cycle date is not reached yet. What the hell are they talking? No company in this world that is unable to track transaction before a specific closing date. This is bullshit.
Shall I call all who are affected to come to Menara Celcom at Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz to talk face to face to their management instead of waiting to pay something that we did not spend.

Charged for international data roaming despite setting disabled

I've used Celcom for more than 10 years and utilised international roaming for calls and sms. Last month I noticed my bill was usually high. Upon checking, it was for 2 days of data roaming in Singapore at RM38/day. Attempts to clarify with Celcom resulted in their customer service mentioning that they detected usage, so its not their fault. I explained that my data roaming is manually selected, and has never been turned on before. The standard reply was that their system detected usage, so too bad.

Question is, why never check whether there is a glitch with their system when so many people are affected?

international data roaming

I m wondering when i lodge a complaint here, will celcom reply me. As i m very frustrating wiz their international data roaming, they charge me like no body business. And after doing a report wiz celcom, they insist dat i hv turn on the international data roaming while i was at france, the fact is i din turn on the data! I was 15 yrs wiz maxis, no dis problem while i was overseas, but only 2nd mth wiz celcom, dis problem exist! Will celcom reply me wiz a strong evidence??? Or just ignore by keep asking me to settle the bill or they will barred my line????? We r consumer but no voice can be raise up even wiz this unfair n nonsense charges, as our line is wiz them, we need to settle the bills or they blacklist u or ur existing cant be swich to other operator???????

Data roaming charges

Last month I have been complaining for the charges on data roaming (RM228) which i have never used in Singapore. After i got the advises from your staff, I haven not been enabling data usage on my mobile in Singapore. Today i check on the OCS that i am charged for RM152 which i believe is the data roaming which i have not been activated for. Your service really terrible and horrible and sucks. please look back my January bill, i don't even have single charge for data roaming. Just now i contacted your celcom service center and i got a rude response from your lady staff. please be professional on service.Terminating my number from this suck operator when on coming weekend when i go to Johor.
