So...the price has stayed the same (£6.99 already marked up on packet), but they fail to tell you there is now only 18 in a pack??? Yes...I choose to smoke and was already a bit annoyed that they reduced a 20 pack to 19, but we were pre warned...why was I paying £6.99 for 19 but still paying the same price now for 18? Looks like I'm changing my brand....very underhanded of the company...plus...There is NO 18 on packet to let you know until you open the packet and count for yourself. Totally disappointed in this...

Not satisfied with 19 in a pack, it's now down to 18. Yes, ****** 18. They should re-brand them as Supersneaks. At this rate, will we soon be buying empty packets?

I couldn't believe it when sterling started selling 19 instead of 20 and as if that wasn't taking the piss enough now they only give you 18. 1 thing for sure I won't be buying sterling again

I purchased 38 sterling menthol cigarettes and although they look the part they are definitely NOT menthol. Really annoyed as i cannot smoke them.

bought a pack of fag and out of 20 only 6 contained the burst... This is not the first time... So will not be buying these again....

I bought a packet of superkings red and found that there was only 18 cigarettes in my box there is no information that says there is only 18 I feel totally ripped offby this company

Very disappointed with these cigarettes as I have bought a few packs now that have had no ball to pop and another pack that when the ball woz popped they were still an ordinary cigarette. Then the packet I bought today I've had 4 cigarettes out of that packet so far that have tasted of cola when popped.

I bought a packet of fresh taste cigarettes a couple of days ago, I am writing to inform you that out of the packet there were 5 without the menthol ball.

i bought players red superkings ,the price was 26p cheaper than normal but there was only 18 in the pack .beware i bet other brands will follow.

Con of cigarettes being sold in packs of 19 today has reached new lows. Player Super King reds bought at local Coop store are now only 18 per pack but the same price. No notification from manufacturer or retailer. Seems as if 20s are only available if prepared to spend nearly £10 per pack for B&H Gold or Marlborough Reds. Do manufacturers not realise I will just switch to e-lites rather than be conned in this way.

Also agree with other comments that the burn rate is too high and do not appear to comply with UK safety standards whereby they should extinguish themselves if no drawn on.

When smoking a cigarette as well I am not gettin the normal intake it feels like u have to intake about 5 times b4 I feel I have had a pull of a cigarette, is this normal?.

I have smoked sterling cigarettes for quite some time now and have always enjoyed them. I am emailing you to let you know one of my nineteen cigarettes in the box I brought this morning from Sainsbury’s had a missing menthol ball in the actual cigarette making it a normal cigarette which I was surprised about!

I just thought I would bring this to your attention as there might be a few in production with missing menthol balls.

I feel like I was paying for something I did not receive.

I have smoked sterling superkings for years, The price went to £6.94 for 20 Then they took one out and brought the price down for 19 cigarettes to £6.80, I bought a packet of 19 sterling superkings yesterday and the packet was priced marked £7.04, Could you please explain to me why you have put up the price to £7.04 and not made the packet back up to 20 cigarettes.
I would like to thank the makers of sterling as of finishing this packet of sterlings i am now going to stop smoking, Hope thousands of other sterlings smokers take the same attitude as me.

if you buy 20 sterling superkings at £6.80 you get 19 cigs so if you buy 2 tens of sterling superkings you get 20 so in real terms its costing 54 pence for 1 extra cigarette if you buy in two ten packets what a rip off.

I purchased a packet of cigarettes, I asked for 20, the shop assistant never stated otherwise and handed me the packet. I open the packet only to find there is 19 inside. I wasn't too bothered at this point but when I started smoking throughout the day I could not get a drag off of them, to find there was holes near to the filter! Ridiculous! Paying over £8.00 for 20 cigarettes and only receiving 19 is bad enough but only to be able to smoke 17 of them is a joke.

In Tesco's, when I asked for 100 Sterling menthol superkings and only got 98, I was absolutely disgusted, of the 5 packets I bought, only 3 actually had 20 cigarettes in each packet, when I ask for 100 cigarettes I expect to receive 100 cigarettes. Please explain why this has happened, dont you tell the stores you have reduced the number in each packet but still charge the same amount!!!!

I don't mind paying a bit extra but when I ask for a packet of 20 I expect a packet of 20 NOT 19.

No proper warnings on the packet that they are NOT a full packet, just the '19' on the side. Disgusting. And when I ask for 20 Sterling and am given a packet of 19 without warning surely that is almost fraudulent.

I bought 20 sterling king size from my local sweet shop yesterday 28th august 2014. I opened them this morning and there was only 19 cigarettes in the box. Someone has just told that all these weeks I have been buying only 19 cigs in a packet. I think you could have put a note in the packets informing your customers of the change. Even if you say 40 sterling red at the shops no-one says here's your 38 cigs,disgusting. I will be now be changing brands and never buy Sterling again.

only just realised that whoever manufacture sterling(and since found out other manufacturers)are putting 19 cigarettes in a pack instead of 20.rip off or what.how is this allowed to happen.if I went to a supermarket for a 6 pack of muffins would they sell me 5?if they did they would price accordingly one would think.instead the cig manufacturers put a tiny 19 on the side of the pack,who thinks to look for that.and why have we not been informed.scandal!!!!

I smoke 40 cigarettes per day and today I noticed that my 20 packs are 19 packs.

These 19 packs are not being advertised as 19 and I've never once been notified of this change when purchasing them from various high street shops and supermarkets. I've been asking for multiples of 20's and receiving multiples of 19.

Basically, someone has been stealing 2 cigarettes per day from me and depending on how long this has been happening, it could easily equal a lot of money.

Switch and bait is illegal and this is exactly that.

This is rediculous I ask for 20 and all I get is 19 but still paying the same price as 20 This is surley false advertising we pay a lot for these so why not be honest with the customer ok i know its my choice to smoke but its not my choice to be ripped off i think you should advertise that ciggarettes have been reduced form 20 to 19 shocking rip of britton right enough I could care that the americans accept this we are a different country all together so please stop ripping us off we have been loyal customers to sterling superkings for years so we deserve an explanation or even putting the price down not very happy

Once again i have to complain about the amount of cigarettes im getting in pack we buy 200 a week and every packet has only 19 cigarettes they are so expensive we cannot afford to loose any, i hope we will be reinbursed its getting a joke now and if it continues i will change the brand i smoke its just not fair.
