Sterling Superkings 19 instead of 20

For ages I have been buying 100 Sterling Superkings, or so I thought, till a friend asked me when they had started selling 19s, I said "no idea" the point that annoys me, is I ask for 100 and never once has the person selling them mentioned there was only 19 in each pack, so here was me thinking I was buying 100 and only been getting 95, I have just been bringing them home, taking the outer wrapper off and putting them in the drawer, and just taking a packet out as and when required, so you can imagine I am not very happy at the fact that none of the staff in the shop (Morrisons) told me the packs were only 19s, so for ages I have been getting 5 less each time that I have bought my cigs, so depending on how long this has been going on I could have paid for 100 if not more cigs that I have not received.

Just wondering on the 4 occasions I've bought 20 sterling menthol there has only been 19 in each pack. Surely this is false advertising when I specifically ask for 20.
I think you make enough money off each pack without ripping off your consumer

Can you please tell me why I am still paying the full price of £6.69 for a pack of 20 Sterling Superkings but only getting 19 in a pack? If there is one less, why isn't this reflected in the price? Also...surely when I ask for 20 at my local supermarket (Asda) they should tell me there are only 19 in the pack - surely this is false advertising or miss-selling?

I have recently have found that in my pack of 20 sterling menthol cigarettes i have only got 19. This has now happened four times and i think it is absolutely disgusting. Cigarettes are so expensive now and i think it is absurd that cigarette companies such as Sterling are doing this. It is even more disgusting to find there has been no explanation of this.

This is the 5th packet i have bought with only 19 in the pack they are so costly now we cant afford to only having 19 in the pack and last week i only had 18 i hope we will be sent a replacement for what we have lost .

I Have bought sterling red for some time now and have always believed that I was getting value for money , not anymore. Since when have you changed the 20 pack to a 19 pack? No advertising in papers or any media. as far as I and many others are aware, I am totally dismayed.

I have no doubt that his will lose you a serious lose of customers. Being the 8th biggest brand seller won't last with this sort of marketing. I am absolutely livid, that I now feel well and truly conned along with many of your customers.
I won't be using this product again and will make sure that I research anything your company produces, so as to avoid buying from your company in the future.

On 19 July '14 I purchased a packet of your cigarettes - as I have been doing for years - only to find 19 instead of 20 inside. Perhaps you could explain reason.

Please tell me why I am paying (and asking for) 20 Sterling Superkings and only getting 19? I have noticed that it states on the pack only 19 in the pack, but I still would like to know why this has happened. I do know that a pack of cigarettes only cost about 30 pence and the rest is tax, which the Chancellor of the Exchequer rubs their hands with glee, but why was this reduction not advertised or we, the smokers, notified that this was happening? Is this the result of the tobacco companies trying to get more money or is it a directive from Brussels? Either way does this not come under the fair trading remit?

in the past 7 days i have bought 2 twenty packs of sterling red kingsize, when i have opened the cigerettes there were only 19 cigerettes, this is not what have paid for as a consumer of this product i feel completely ripped off! the cigerettes state 20 in a pack and i find this unacceptable and would go so far as saying illegal as the product is not what it states, it is false advertising you advertise the product as having 20 but this is proving not to be the case

I bought a packet of 20 cigerettes and only got 19 in thought it was a one of mistake but now it has happened a few times since .now I think we pay enough for them without being given less please could you sort this problem .

i always buy sterling superking lights and for past months theres only ever 19 in a pack can u tell me why as it should be 20 so ur not making the customer happy i know a few people who this is also happening to

Really not happy that I'm paying for 20 cigarettes but only getting 19.....20 cigarettes is around £6.80 so that should make 1 cigarette around 34p so if inl only getting 19 cigarettes in my pack I shouldn't be paying full price I should only have to pay £6.46. How come your prices haven't reflected in the decrease of the amount of cigarettes in a packet?

bought 20 sterlling menthol this ,morning, just opened them to find a gap in the box and theres only 19 fags in the pack, how is this possible in the processing operation ??????? there dear enough without being short changed !!!!!

NINETEEN CIGARETTES IN A PACK NOT TWENTY... If you are going to rip us off at least make the packets so the cigarettes fit properly and not loose... ie my packets are now always squashed and contents damaged ie crunched up and have you started putting less in the cigarettes as well as the tobacco seems lot looser as well... Looks like I'll be purchasing a different brand from now on and everyone else should start doing this.... Also if a packet of 20 were/are £6.91 and 19 are £6.80 I think you need to resit your maths test again as if you divide the cost by 20 or 19 it dosent add up right....

I ask for 400 sterling from my local supermarket asda and I only get 380 out of 400 is this a rip off or a mistake with sterling but I find this very frustrating when we are still paying same amount on a full pack and not 19

Why, when I asked and paid for 100 Sterling Blue Superkings, a mouthful in itself, did I only receive 95 cigarettes? Who is responsible? The retailer or Gallagher? Where do I get my refund? Any answers? Anyone?

Only 19 in my pack. I feel annoyed. Buck it up and put the right amount in. Even in a block of 100 where I only had 99.

I went to my local supermarket the other day and asked for 200 (yes 200) sterling superkings!! What i received were 190 cigarettes for exactly the same price! Surely this is miss selling what a complete rip off! Time to change brand of fags I think !

I asked for 20 sterling paid for 20 sterling got home opened them to realise there is only nineteen in the packet now I know I asked for 20 I always do so how comes I only got nineteen?
Now im wondering how many packets of 20 I have bought have only had 19 in them ?
Isn't that miss selling?

I bought 20 cigaretts "or so I thought" only to find out when I opened em there was only 19, I felt ripped off as I payed £6.89 same as I would normally for 20in a pack, the tobacco companies are taking the p... Out of people that smoke, if they want us to smoke less they should take the bloody things off the shelf!! Not undercut people who have addictions, they make billions out of smokers, so if they are going to reduce the number of cigarettes in a pack they should bloody reduce the price too. Or at least advertise 19 in big bold letters on front of packet...
