much bigger issue and Sears should have been contacted immmediatley while the unit was still under warranty.
Even still as the months went on the issue got worse. It would now take at least 5-10 openings of the freezer and or fridge door before the lights would come on. As of this complaint the lights no longer come on...

Contacted Sears and was told I had a 4 year warranty, not the 5 year I had understood I had purchased. They said no problem, I could purchase the extended warranty at that time, so I did. Scheduled a appointment for diagnosis just over a week later. No problem to fix according to diagnosis tech but the only appointment available Oct 1, 2018...

tired of dealing with Sears but the locals did not know how to repair or work on these models. I paid for service charge once for someone to come out but they could not fix it. The refrigerator has mold in it from the last repairman Sears sent out who told me to unplug it. I tried to clean it out but could not get in between the plastic parts and as a result I cracked the plastic in several places...

Go refrigerator from Sears in April of 2015. Last week our ice maker stopped working, and then a few days later the frig and freezer both stopped working. We contacted sears and was told that our warranty had expired. Sears scheduled a repair man to come out the following week, and offered us a warranty plan stating that we could pay $49 a month, with a $99 deductible, with parts covered and labor for up to $500...

Called Sears for a fix, no appointment avail for 3 1/2 weeks. Also advised I had to pay for labor. (labor to fix a problem of bad design by LG ) We babysit four grand-kids under the age of 5, and that was not acceptable. Called outside appliance tech, he advised he could not fix as it was most likely the compressor, he said the LG compressors were junk and he had calls all day long on this problem...

Was told be a Sears repairmen that from Nov 2019 the newer model got LG compressor changed to Panasonic to fix the reliability problem.
For now I’m waiting for compressor to fail after 4 years and get it replaced under warranty...

Sears sent out a repairman who I paid $419. 17 on my Sears card. The repairman said he fix a lot of these refrigerators for the same reason. He said the manufacturer is running the wrong refrigerant through the systems. My refrigerator was diagnosed as having a bad compressor. the focal point for Sears and resolve this sooner than later. I understand the demand is high and there is a protocol that has to be followed but I do not understand why if customers have the same problem every time and your technician did further damage why the agonizing inconvenience for the customers...

27th, online through Sears. com. Sears has been my go to for YEARS! I received the refrigerator 09/17/21 and it quit working 23 days later on 10/10/2021. I AM STILL WITHOUT A WORKING REFRIGERATOR 46 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE. I paid in full online for the refrigerator or I would have stopped payments by now and gone somewhere else...
